Should avoid being fed fatty foods. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Rumi had stayed at the Gimje City Shelter for over two years after giving birth to puppies, living in a cramped space. Afterwards, she was placed on the euthanasia list, so Adogs quickly rescued her. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is scared and fearful of people. Still tends to get scared even with familiar people, but wags her tail and gets excited when she sees the person who takes her for walks. * With Dogs: Gets along with other dogs at our center with no issues. * Separation Anxiety: Unclear since she’s living communally at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed as she resides communally at our center. Is currently going potty outdoors at our center. * Walks: Is a well-behaved walker who enjoys being outside and does not pull on the leash. May initially feel a bit intimidated and sit down after a few steps to scan the surroundings. Once adjusted to the environment, she walks forward confidently. * Car Sickness: Had no problems and rested during short car rides. * Biting: May growl at times, but calmly accepts being touched. While the growling is a sign of being fearful of people, she has never shown any aggressive behavior, such as nipping or putting teeth on skin. * Bark: Is still afraid of people and growls out of fear when making eye contact with them. * Like: Likes going for walks.

Ollie is the sweetest little gentleman, a thorough cuddler, and number 1 lover-boy. He is a dachshund, red color, around 9 years old, super handsome boy. He is a great mix of calm and fun. He is very quiet and doesnt bark but will greet you at the door with much tail wagging when you get home. He has a bubbly temperament and is super loving. He enjoys walkies (except when its super cold out), treats, and lots of belly rubs. I wish I could continue to care for my sweet Oliver but due to some abrupt life, financial, and housing changes its in Ollies best interest that we find him a new forever family. I am looking for an owner that will be extra affectionate and caring with Ollie and wouldnt mind keeping in touch with me and sending some updates. Meet Loretta, a ridiculously adorable 7-month old, 21-pound Dachshund/Terrier mix who loves being next to anyone and everyone. She is a true Velcro dog who is excited to see you every time you walk through the door. So be prepared to share your personal space with this romantic soul! An attention seeker, Loretta enjoys being the center of your universe. She is friendly and gets along well with humans and dogs alike…but a slow introduction is best when it comes to unfamiliar pooches. Once she gets to know a dog, she will play with them all day long. And playful, she is. Balls and chew toys are among her favorites. Loretta doesn’t like loud noises and can be a bit tentative at first, but once she feels safe and gets used to her surroundings, you see her fears just melt away. Loretta has a huge heart, she is super affectionate, and she loves with intensity. She is a beautiful soul in every conceivable way. Loretta is fully housebroken, she’s been perfecting her leash manners, and at home, she regards her crate as her safe space. Loretta sits on command and comes when you call her name. Athletic and energetic, Loretta likes spending time outdoors and has a particularly fun time frolicking in the snow. When it’s time to chill out, Loretta is content to sit next to you on the couch and watch TV. In the car, this adventurous gal loves to ride shotgun! Story

Raleigh is an amazing pup. She is soon to be 13 and we have had her since she was 9 months. One word to describe her is cuddly. She loves nothing more than lying around all day—whether with you or in her bed under a blanket. She is exceptionally chill and low maintenance. She probably spends 90 percent of her day snoozing. Given she is on the older side, she does not need a ton of walking (though she loves being outside when warm, like sitting in the park). Unfortunately, when we had our first child, this stressed Raleigh out and she had a hard time adjusting. We just had a second child and don’t want to put her through that again. I would not recommend her to families with children under five, but would be great for kids over that age. We have used many dog sitters in the past, and she quickly warms to them. I am confident she would come to quickly love a new owner. As said, super healthy pup, up to date on vaccinations, and can provide medical records.
