Story
Adoption fee fully sponsored on behalf of Bella Jer Bear is a handsome brown and black pit who is 4 years old and weighs 63.6 lbs. He’s currently at Butte Humane Society after coming to us from another shelter, so we’re still getting to know him, but he’s already stealing hearts. Jer Bear is very sweet, incredibly affectionate, and a total cuddle bug. He still has some puppy-like playful energy and loves playing with toys just as much as he loves snuggling. He’s also very food motivated and already knows how to sit, making him eager and fun to work with. This great boy is looking for a caring, loving home where he can continue to learn, play, and soak up all the love he deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion with a gentle heart, Jer Bear may be your perfect match. Come down to Butte Humane Society to meet this kind- hearted boy! 💛 All dogs that are adopted from Butte Humane Society come microchipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, placed on preventions for heartworm, and flea and tick-borne illnesses. Callie is a 2-year-old purebred German Shorthaired Pointer, registered through the AKC, and she weighs 58 pounds. She came to Butte Humane Society with her brother, Hank. While the two can be adopted separately, they share a sweet bond and adore each other, like a happily married couple. Callie is an incredibly affectionate girl who loves being petted and spending time with her people. She’s very food-motivated, making her eager to learn and a great candidate for continued training. Callie walks well on leash and enjoys exploring her surroundings, and true to her breed, she has an excellent nose and loves to follow scents. Story
Meet Tanji! Tanji is a 2.5-year-old Dutch Shepherd/Boxer mix (breed is a best guess based on appearance and not guaranteed) with a gentle heart and a lovable personality. He was originally adopted as a young puppy, and due to a change in living circumstances, he was returned to the shelter so he could be well cared for until his next forever family comes along. Tanji has tested well with another female dog here at the shelter and has a history of doing well with other dogs. He could go home with cats and has previously lived successfully with children. Tanji knows his basic manners, though he can be a bit shy at times as he warms up—but once he does, his affectionate side shines through. He’s especially charming when he forgets his size and insists, he’s a lap dog. Tanji is ready for a loving home where he can feel secure, cherished, and part of the family again. Tanji would thrive best with dogs that are calm. Bite Disclaimer: Small bite occurred during a social adoption event; Tanji was overstimulated and nipped the hand of a volunteer when being harnessed. All dogs that are adopted from Butte Humane Society come microchipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, placed on preventions for heartworm, and flea and tick-borne illnesses. Meet Adiago, one of our adorable ballet-inspired pups alongside his sisters, Pirouette and Arabesque and brother Battu! At just about 2 months old and 17.4 pounds, this handsome black, white, and tri-color sweetheart is already showing off his brave and confident personality. He’s the braver one of the bunch, always ready to explore first but just as ready to soak up cuddles and affection. Adiago is as sweet as he is cute, with a curious spirit and a heart full of love.
