Story
I adopted Rio about 2 years ago from Halo animal shelter. I live alone and work a very busy schedule. It pains me to have to rehome him, but I believe that Rio would be much happier in a home with someone/people who are able to provide him with more play time, interaction and even just cuddles. Rio is a very sweet, loving doggo. He is very calm but will get in his playful moods. He’s a little dopey, in a very cute way. He is gentle and will be friends with anyone or any dog, as long as they are nice to him!

Story
Selling my sweet, all black purebred German shepherd. She is an outside dog and although she is very sweet, she does tend to nip and can be overprotective. Never was sure how to properly train her. She was born on October 28, 2016 and I have all her paperwork. She has had some shot records but hasn’t been to the vet in a long time. I am not able to care for her and would love to give her up to a caring home that can properly take care of her.

Story
Achilles is a 1 year 8 month old German Shepherd/Husky mix with heterochromia. He has been a wonderful dog to raise from a puppy to his young adult life with undying loyalty to me as his owner. He’s extremely intelligent, and great with other people. The only reason I am giving him up is because he developed territorial dominance over my stuff and his food with my sister, which escalated into a bite. This was his first time biting someone, and he’s played with countless strangers, children, etc. He’s truly a great dog, but would need a home that is single person, or multi-person with each person building a proper bond with him so he doesn’t feel like he’s competing for resources. He’s a strong willed dog, but he has amazing qualities. He knows sit, down, stay, come, paw, other paw, and jump up for a treat. I know he’ll do great with someone capable of putting in the time and effort for his training.

Story
Hello, my name is MERCEDES. I am a beautiful, spayed, black female standard poodle with a stunning white blaze on my chest. Coastal Poodle Rescued me from a family whose schedules were too busy to give me the attention they felt I needed. I just turned 3 years old on June 20th. I am housetrained, microchipped, up to date with all my vaccines and tests, had my teeth polished no extractions and I am on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. I weigh about 56 pounds. You know what I really love?!?! Attention; lots and lots of attention from my human!! Toys are OK but my happy place is with people. I really don`t want to share my human with another dog so I need to be adopted as AN ONLY DOG so I can get all the belly rubs for my very own. A fenced yard is a must. I love to run and play. I also love to go for car rides. I`m very well behaved. If you meet me, you would know what a wonderful girl I am. I would love a family to call my own. Maybe its you. MERCEDES is currently being fostered in BREVARD county. To learn more about adopting, go to www.coastalpoodlerescue.org Can't adopt right now? Consider becoming a foster home for a rescue dog; it's temporary, but very fulfilling and your only cost is their food! Fill out a volunteer application from our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY FROM FULL/PART-TIME RESIDENTS OF FLORIDA AS A HOME VISIT IS REQUIRED; NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN FLORIDA, PLEASE LOOK FOR RESCUE GROUPS IN YOUR HOME STATE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.
