Story
Piglet"s previous owner fell into hard times, and Piglet found himself living in car. Despite the difficult circumstances, he was deeply loved. Wanting the very best for him, his previous owner made the heartbreaking but selfless decision to place Piglet where he would be surrounded by care, comfort and stability. Now, Piglet is ready for a fresh start and a forever home filled with the love he deserves. Piglest is a 3-4 year old black lab mix weighing about 55 pounds, and he's equal parts sweetheart and shadow. This handsome boy absolutely loves people and wants nothing more than to always be close to his humans. Whether your relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or heading out for an adventure, Piglet is happiest by your side. Piglet appears to be house trained and rarely has accidents overnight. He has a short coat that's easy to maintain with regular brushing, so no professional grooming is required! Piglet gets along well with other dogs, does fine with cats and seems to do well with children too. Because he can still be a little jumpy when excited, he'd probably do best with older kids while he continues learning his manners. One of Piglet's favorite things in the world is toys-especially a good game of tug! He loves to play and has a goofy, fun-loving personality that shines when he's carrying around on of his favorite toys. Because he values his toys and treats so highly., he can be a little possessive around other pets when they're involved., so continued training and supervision in those situations will help him succeed. He already knows "sit" and "down", and he's eager to please, but he will need continued training with leash walking and basic manners. With consistency, structure and love, Piglet is going to make an incredibly loyal and fun companion. Apollo is very special. He is a great dog, with a great personality and loves people giving him attention. He does pretty good with other dogs however would require a meet and greet. He may be a little too much for an older dog. He loves to play. Apollo was brought to the shelter as a stray. He had been hit by a car and unfortunately, his front leg was amputated. He does great on 3 legs.
