Story
Piglet is a 4-year-old, 55-pound black Lab mix with a heart as big as his lovable personality. Equal parts sweetheart and loyal shadow, this handsome boy adores people and is happiest wherever his person is—whether that means relaxing on the couch, helping around the house, or heading out on an adventure. He is house-trained, sleeps through the night in his kennel without accidents, and is continuing to build confidence with kennel time when left alone. Piglet is currently spending two weeks in bootcamp with a professional trainer, where he is working hard on basic obedience and strengthening his manners. When he returns at the end of August, he is expected to come back with solid skills, improved confidence, and an even stronger foundation for success in his future home. Piglet is looking for a family who will appreciate his affectionate nature, continue supporting his training, and give him the love and companionship he so clearly enjoys.
😊. Piglet's short coat is easy to maintain with regular brushing, so no professional grooming is required.
Piglet gets along well with other dogs, does great with cats, and is good with children too. One of his favorite things in the world is toys — especially a good game of tug! He loves to play, and his goofy, fun-loving personality shines when he is carrying around one of his favorite toys.
