Story
Nova is a sweetheart. I got him as a tiny puppy. Unfortunately he came to us with resource guarding issues, primarily with food and space (especially when he is laying down). He still struggles with these issues, just not quite as bad. After my eldest dog (the alpha) passed away, my middle dog fell into a bad deep depression. During this time, Nova began to attack my middle dog. This was a surprise as they used to play and cuddle 24/7. I was told this just happens sometimes when a younger dog will attack a sick older dog to "claim alpha". He has never bitten another dog, although we were very careful to not get him too close to other dogs. I would say no other dogs would be the best for him. We have never had him around any other animals. Hes great with people and older kids. He is a bit uneasy with young kids. We have a young child and I am just very nervous due to his history and he just isnt getting the life he deserves anymore. He is a cuddle bug lover. He deserves the BEST home!

Story
Fizzle is a fun dog that loves to play. He’s between 8-10 years old and was dropped near our home. Unfortunately, I can’t keep him as my allergies just are too bad. He needs a fenced in yard and some help with leash training but he’s a loving dog, just needs to find the right home.

Rusty

Pomeranian

Male, Senior
Cincinnati, OH
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rusty is a 10 year old Pomeranian with lots of personality! Don't let his age fool you! Rusty is as spunky as ever. He loves his people. He also loves his job: protecting his people from potential threats such as delivery persons, mail carriers, meter readers, etc, with his warning barks. They have no idea how many times he has saved them from certain disaster! Rusty is crate trained and house broken. He has excellent house manners, and has lived with dogs and kids most of his life. Rusty loves all other dogs - cats are an unknown - but he prefers kids old enough to know not to pull his fur. He prefers all fur "pulling" be left to the grooming professionals. Pomeranians do require coat care and regular grooming to maintain their beautiful coats, so Rusty is a pro at being pampered.

Story
Petey loves pets and cuddles. He enjoys a good toy to chew on and chasing animals outside. Doesn't mind to go on a walk but can't go for long. He will cuddle, play with a toy, or sleep. If he has another dog companion he will try to play. Petey's ideal home is with another dog to play with but mainly with people who are able to give him attention and cuddle. When being disciplined he can cower and let out a small tinkle but he is house broken.

Cincinnati, OH
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Jazzy is a 5 year old pit/boxer/Australian/German shepherd. Although she has a lot of high energy blood in her, her favorite place to be is curled up next to you on the couch under her favorite blanket. Jazzy is looking for a home with no other animals or small children. Her owners would love to see jazzy thrive the way she deserves. Jazzy is completely house broken and will let you know when she has to go. She does not counter surf. She loves walks and is great on the leash. She is crate trained and knows so many tricks and loves to learn. Jazzy grew up in a college town and loved it there, getting to see all of her adult human friends hanging out. She would do well in a home with no yard as long as she is taken out on a leash. She does enjoy soaking up the sun though so a yard with some sticks and a nice lounge spot would be great! Let us know today if you would love the opportunity to meet this beautiful girl!

She’s a super sweet old lady. She is excellent with kids but I think in her old age she needs quiet and love constantly. She does have anxiety and does get attached. She is amazing and the most loyal companion. Bella is very obedient and listens extremely well. House trained as well. She will alert you when she needs to potty.
