Story
Meet Cassidy, the perfect mix of sweetness and energy! This compact young lady, weighing just under 50 lbs, is making great strides in her foster home. She gets along well with her foster dog siblings and is settling in beautifully. Cassidy handled her car ride home like a pro and has adapted well to being kenneled when her foster isn't home. She's quiet at night and content whether she's in her kennel or in the laundry room, where she rests peacefully until morning. Cassidy is fairly well potty trained and does her best to hold it until her next outing. She absolutely loves being around people and is incredibly friendly and cuddly. One of Cassidy's favorite activities is swimming - she's a natural water lover! Cassidy is a joy to walk and easy to handle, making her the ideal companion for someone who can give her the love and patience she needs to truly blossom. If you're looking for a sweet, manageable dog with a playful spirit, Cassidy is the perfect match! If the location on the Cincinnati Animal CARE site is listed as 3949 Colerain or 4210 Dane, you can meet your new best friend any day from 1-6 at the listed location! If listed in a foster home, please reach out to our foster team at Foster@cincycare.org to be connected with the foster family. Sheltered Paws is providing this pup with a leash, collar, durable chew toy, snacks and a rebate certificate good for a training class. You can pick your trainer and Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you an amount up to but not to exceed $100.00.

Story
Meet Clee! You won’t believe how much personality he packs into his tiny frame— plus, he has the best wippies in ten towns! He’s a hilarious little elf dog, built low to the ground and full of curiosity and wonder! If Clee were human, he’d be the kid who keeps everyone laughing, pranks the teacher every day, and turns even the dullest moments into pure joy! Clee loves playing with other dogs, getting lots of human hugs and pets, and he’ll happily invent new “tricks” if he thinks a treat might be involved! He’d be a great fit for dog friends who enjoy spirited play time, and a human who is up for his fun-loving shenanigans! All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-app, no appointment—just walk in with a government-issued ID and adopt! And our adoption fees are some of the lowest in Cincinnati! To meet our available animals, visit our Northside shelter locations any day between 1-6pm. If their location is listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. If you're looking to adopt an adult dog and have resident dogs or children at home, bring them to the meet and greet to make sure it's a love-match. Story
Looking for a new furry edition to your family? Meet Koda! He is a 2-3 year old male husky. My husband and I have been fostering Koda since January 24th and we've fallen in love with him. He is truly a huge love bug and people person and so well behaved. He greets everyone with kisses and is so gentle. He was found roaming the streets and taken to Cincinnati Animal Care. Some things about Koda: * He's never had any accidents * Does amazing in a crate * LOVES the snow and will stay outside for hours if you let him * He hops like a bunny when he's happy * Loves meat flavored treats * He's amazing and super sweet with everyone...but he LOVES men * He never howls or barks like a typical husky...only when he's in the cage and other dogs walk by him and he gets excited * Was neutered on Feb 6th and is up to date on shots Important to note about Koda is that he is food aggressive with other dogs. He would need to be kept separate for feeding time. He is NOT food aggressive with people at all. you can take his food or bone right out of his mouth and he does not care... just with other dogs. He does great playing with other dogs, absolutely loves our Saint Bernard and plays with her all the time! He'd do best with one other dog or no others so his food aggression could be better managed. He has not yet been around cats or children, but would most likely do better in a home without small children. Please reach out to his foster Sabrina at 513-900-0653 with any questions or to inquire about Koda!
