We have had Ray for about 4 years now and it’s with a heavy heart we are putting him up for adoption. Ray is a sweet and loving dog but we have some issues with giving him the attention and care he needs since our little one arrived. He’s needs an adult/bigger kid house hold, he’s a bit too big for the little ones in our experience. We are looking for some experienced dog owners with mainly adults in the home who would like to have an active loving pup!

🙈Hi… I’m Beaux. I’m a very timid boy, and the world feels big and overwhelming to me—especially here in the shelter. There’s so much noise, so many new faces, and it’s hard for me to feel safe. I get really stressed, and lately it’s even caused me to lose some weight. But… I’m trying. ⛅️Every day, I’m working so hard to be brave. I’m starting to recognize the people I see often, and little by little, I’m learning that they might be kind. My progress may be small—just a tiny step forward at a time—but to me, those steps are everything. ⏳I won’t be the dog who runs up to greet you right away. I may hang back, watch quietly, and need space at first. But if you’re patient with me, if you give me time and understanding, I truly believe I can keep growing into the dog I’m meant to be.🕊️🩵 ☮️What I need most is a calm, loving home—somewhere I can finally breathe, feel safe, and continue this journey at my own pace. We rescued Luigi in August 2024 from the SPCA in Reno Nevada. He is about three years old. A while after we got him home, we realized that he had been abused the first year of his life and was very skittish of people mainly men. He is a very loving and playful dog. He has great fun with our Jack Russell and she is the alpha and so she controls him and he doesn’t bite her back or anything. she likes to chew on his hind legs, and he just runs from her. He is very loving and attentive to me, but he occasionally will bite my husband if he thinks that I am in danger. He is housebroken and he loves his treats. His shots are current and he is also taking heartworm medication.
