Story
Hi! I’m a 1.5-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix with lots of energy and love to give. I’m about 90 lbs and absolutely love playing with other dogs — doggy daycare is one of my favorite places! I’m house trained, crate trained, and do well crated for 5-8 hours. I love toys (especially squeaky ones) and being close to my people. I do pretty well on leash but can get very excited when I see other dogs and may pull toward them. I also have a strong prey drive and would benefit from continued training to help with focus on walks. I can have some separation anxiety, so I’d do best in an active home with lots of companionship — another dog would be a big bonus. I am not good with cats or other small animals due to my strong prey drive. If you’re looking for a playful, social, and loyal companion, I might be your perfect match!

Story
Neela is a beautiful 6-year-old in excellent health with a loving, loyal heart. Her mature age means she’s calm, well-adjusted, and ready to be your steady companion. She is deeply affectionate and loves to stay close to her humans, thriving on daily companionship. Sensitive and empathetic, Neela responds to your emotions and may pout if she feels she’s been scolded, needing reassurance. She’s great with kids and calm around other dogs, preferring human company. Neela does best in a home where she isn’t left alone long, as solitude makes her anxious. As a mature dog, she’s house-trained, listens to commands and is past the energetic puppy stage. She is well-mannered, making her a wonderful fit for families or individuals seeking a devoted, gentle companion. If you want a healthy, steady, and loving dog, Neela is waiting to meet you! We appreciate serious inquiries only, as Neela deserves a dedicated, loving forever home

Zeppelin`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & greetCats - Per Zeppelin, feline free is the way to beKids - Prefers the company of adultsThis handsome German Shepherd is as silly as he is smart. He loves going for walks, showing off his tricks (sit, shake, and lay down are his favorites), and spending time with people he trusts. Once you’re part of his circle, he’s a total sweetheart who’ll lean in for pets and make you feel like his favorite person in the world.Zeppelin walks beautifully on leash and recently made friends with another polite pup here at the shelter. He enjoys exploring the outdoors and taking in all the sights and smells along the way. Zeppelin appreciates having his own space for meals and toys, so he’s hoping for an adult home that understands his independent streak. Give him love, structure, and a comfy crate to call his “home base,” and he’ll give you his loyal heart right back.Ready to meet a dog who’s equal parts smart, goofy, and loyal? Zeppelin can’t wait to say hello!

Story
Andy’s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Looking for a feline-free homeKids - Adult-only home preferredAndy is 7 years old and fully embracing his “no drama” era. He’s crate trained, enjoys a solid routine, and loves being talked to like part of the conversation. He’ll tilt his head, lock eyes, and listen with his whole face like you’re telling him something truly important.Leash walks? He’s good at them... until he sees something he wants. A squirrel, another dog, a mysterious trash bag. In those moments, you`re going where Andy goes. But with a little structure and some know-how, he`s very manageable, and he really shines in a calm environment. He bonds deeply with his people. Once you’re in, you’re in. He’ll look to you for reassurance, hang out nearby while you do your thing, and be your biggest fan from the couch cushion beside you. He’s also housebroken with a consistent routine. Just give him a little time to settle in.Come meet Andy and see if you`re the steady presence he`s been waiting for.

Story
Buddy`s Compatibility:Dogs - Yes!Cats - No cats for BuddyKids - An adult-only home would be wonderfulBuddy is pure joy in a dog body. His foster says, “He is just loving every second of life. Hopping on the couch to snuggle is one of his favorite things, and he always finds a way to be close to you.” He’s smart, silly, and a total cuddle connoisseur who loves being near the people he adores. If he gets a little clingy, a simple “go to bed” or “go lay down” sends him happily to his own comfy spot nearby. He’s playful and energetic in a way that’s easy to enjoy. Buddy loves running around the yard, playing fetch, and taking breaks to relax beside you. He’s quick to learn and a total character, knowing cues like sit, lay/down, stay, back up, leave it, go lay down, and speak. His little “arrrruffs” and playful huffs when asked to follow a command are impossible not to love.Buddy is gentle, well-mannered, housebroken, and fully crate trained. He’s excellent at being home alone and is not destructive. Loud noises or stern tones can make him nervous, but with calm guidance, he quickly relaxes. He’s also dog-friendly and has done well with calm, respectful pups. If there’s another dog in your home, we’ll help with a meet and greet to make sure it’s the right match. Buddy thrives with patient introductions and would be happiest in a relaxed adult or family home. He balances his playful side with his affectionate one. He loves zooming around outdoors, enjoying a car ride, or engaging in a game of fetch, but he’s just as happy curling up beside you for a cozy cuddle.Buddy is a lovable, silly, and devoted companion who is ready to brighten someone’s days. Ask about Buddy today and see if he’s the perfect addition to your family.
