Story
My name is Kane! I have been at the shelter for 2 years now (930 days...but who's counting?). With patience, love, and your support, I will leave a lasting warm footprint on your heart. Here's a little bit about me...Everyone thinks I am handsome (Who am I to argue?) and super smart. As a natural homebody, I don't require much outside of caring adults that I don't have to share with any other animals, a fenced yard to play in, a couch to lay on, scratches, and tons of love. I also enjoy going out on hiking adventures. Please contact the shelter to make me your new hiking buddy and couch companion. I promise you unconditional love, goofy grins, and a whole lot of laughter in return.

She may scare some cats at first because she wants to play with them, but won't harm them. She loves to play! She takes correction and walks well on a leash. She knows some basic commands. She loves to sleep with her human and thinks she is a lap dog. She is afraid of loud noises, like fireworks and thunder.

Story
Hi! I'm Zelly Zelda girl!I'm a senior girl who is adored by staff and volunteers! I've been thriving in my foster home but would love to find my forever home! You'll luckily learn all about how I am in a home when you meet me since my foster can fill you in, which is awesome, right?! I love to go on walkies (great walker!), play with toys and I'm SO snuggly! My goofy trait is I make little grunts when I walk. I've had a tough life so I'm a sensitive lady. I need to be the only pet in the home and no little kids - dog-savvy teens are fine though! My ideal home is laid back where I'm treated like a queen! Please set an appointment to meet with me! Pretty please! Love, Zelda Bear*Zelda is a single pet placement, and due to her sensitive nature may be a bit overwhelmed by the day to day activity of a home with active or rambunctious kids. She may do ok with easy going, older, dog savvy teenagers.*
