Story
Bear is the sweetest , loveable and playful, but not too hyper. Our family has had him his whole life, but due to unfortunate personal matters, we have to find him a new home. Bear has been neutered, he is 5 years old, around 35-40 pounds. He loves to be outdoors but he is also an indoor dog, he’s used to sleeping indoors. He’s current on vaccines and flea treatments, and he’s great with new people, kids, and other animals. A little background info, we also have a chihuahua and used to have a female pitbull, and believe it or not, they had 2 puppies together.. and one of them was Bear. So bear is half pitbull, half chihuahua (it was a surprise for us too). It’s hard to say goodbye but I’m really hoping the right family will choose to adopt Bear and make him feel right at home. If you feel you and Bear will make a great fit, please don’t hesitate to contact me, thank you

St. Bernard

Male, puppy
Carmel, IN
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs,
Story
7-month old registered St. Bernard puppy, approx. 95lbs., has some training with learned commands (Sit, Stay, Heel, Down, Wait). Vocal when unknown animal/person is near, but friendly. Large-sized and very strong, expected weight to be over 150lbs. when he hits full maturity. Enjoys the outdoors, and active playtime. Due to an unforseen family issue, can no longer support the time/effort that a puppy requires. Looking to rehome to a loving family, do not recommend for growing family or one with small children (we have 2), despite his general good-nature, as he is not always aware of his size. Prefer a home with experienced dog owners, with the ability to train and nuture him. He is the perfect dog for someone with space and time, and is very loving. Vet recommends waiting until he is 18 months of age to neuter due to breed and expected growth. Please reach out with any questions!

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Harvey is six years old, and we have had him since he was a puppy. We are very sad to have to rehome him, but we are moving from IN to OR due to job changes. We will need to rent a home for awhile, and it is extremely difficult to find renters that will allow big dogs. He weighs 130 pounds. Harvey is a good boy. He's fairly independent but does like to snuggle at times. He is an inside dog and is quite spoiled. He loves bacon! He tires easily and doesn't like to walk very far. He is quite vocal at times. We will miss him dearly but cannot take him along. He needs a fenced area. He is quite a loveable ball of fur!

(when grown) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rocky is half lab, half english bulldog. He's a very good dog and house trained. He does have high anxiety and is nervous around people he doesn't know, but once gets to know you, loves you. He is extremely dog aggressive and cannot be around other dogs. Due to my job I likely have to move to a larger city that is densely populated. Rocky will simply not do well in that type of environment, and I'm afraid due to his temperament with other dogs will get himself into trouble. He is a large dog, weighing in at 130 lbs. He will likely due much better in a home with space.

Story
** ATTENTION** We have found a local rescue to sponsor Wicket's heartworm care, yay! We will not be considering additional applications until her care is complete. Moving forward, we will be requiring a $200 adoption fee that will go straight to supporting the efforts of the rescue. Thanks! Meet Wicket! She is a very sweet 2 yr old corgi/newfoundland mix who loves to play and get pets. She has done very well with our other dog, cat, and small kids, but we are unable to keep her as a pet for the long haul. She is waiting find her forever home with you! She was found as a lost dog on the east side of Indianapolis. She had a collar but no microchip, and attempts to find her previous family have been unsuccessful. She has been to the vet and has her shots. She did test positive for heartworm and will need treatment. We are currently seeking assistance from local organizations to help get her the care she needs.
