Story
Winthrop is a super sweet, super cute 1 year old guy (born 6/3/22) that gets along w/other dogs and people, even if it doesn’t sound like it at first, it just takes a minute. He is a “special” guy, but doesn’t know it. He just lives life w/a smile on his face. His Momma must not have been ready to be a mother because she picked him up by the head and shook him. This has caused him to have some neurological issues and some quirkiness, but he still has a bounding zest for life. Literally. He will playfully bound off the couch or bed with joy when playing w/his foster brothers. Bound across the threshold of the door, because that’s fun! He either bounces or prances or sneaky tippy taps or has a lovely extended trot wherever he goes. Also due to his neurological issues, intentional movements and body control are hard and as a result he bumps into things, falls over (when trying to scratch), flails around a bit, weaves and leans (even more than the typical doberlean). While all the above can make for some super cute antics it can also make for some hazardous conditions for young children or anyone suffering from their own stability issues. Winthrop knows sit (although sometimes he forgets which end is supposed to be on the floor), wait, go to your room (for going to his kennel), and is working on lay down (he knows it but, gets squirrel brained) and leash manners. Winthrop is a little vocally bossy and will tell you how it is or how he thinks it is in that quirky brain of his. He can get a little extra about it. Meeting people and dogs, car rides, and people or dogs coming near his crate triggers this little quirk of his and he would benefit with work with a trainer or behaviorist to help him be a better version of himself. Winthrop loves to cuddle, but it takes him a minute to find that perfect spot. He loves a good chew bone and a Kong filled with yogurt. He loves to wrestle and snuggle w/his foster brothers and will pass toys back and forth between them. Winthrop is like a little Weeble, Leaping Larry, Dobby The House Elf, Sid The Sloth, Tigger, Wreck It Ralph, Jim Carey all rolled into one and all he wants is a sweet loving family w/a fenced in yard and a pillow on a bed or couch to prop himself up on.

Story
Luna is 8 years old and came to BDR because her Mom became ill and was no longer able to care for her. She is a very well cared for and loved dobie girl, they were definitely sad to see her move on but knew it was best for Luna. Luna is good with kitties and other dogs as long as they don't want to play rough with her. Loves her people once she knows you, can be a little apprehensive around new people. Won't do good in a home with little children and all their energy. Luna loves to play with her toys, no one has yet to tell her she is a senior dog! Since she is an albino you will need to be careful with her out in the sun, wouldn't want her ears and nose to burn! Also it can be hard on her eyes, some wear doggles. If you are looking for a sweet girl to hang out with and take walks then Luna might be the dobie gal for you.

Story
Meet Macy! This is what her foster parents had to say: "Macy May has the sweetest puppy head tilts you’ve ever seen. I swear she’s really taking in all the words you say. She loves meeting new people and shows it by shaking it like a salt shaker. Her favorite show is “Snapped”. Ok. Maybe her foster parents are true crime connoisseurs but she doesn’t seem to mind. Regardless, She’s a loving yet independent girl. Shes a curious gal but can also be easily entertained with a new chew toy. That is, until those puppy zoomies hit and she’ll having your head spinning and double over laughing. Macy is a low maintenance pup. Such a good temperament and not super attention seeking however she loves to curl up and fall asleep on your lap. She’s done great learning to walk on the leash and loves to play with her puppy brother and older foster fur siblings. Shes Comfortable around other dogs and new people and is currently working on potty training." Macy is a female, 16 week old lab mix. She will be spayed and UTD on shots. Her adoption fee is $200.00. Head on over to our website and fill out an application for this sweet gal!

Story
Hi! I'm Rubeus Hagrid and I'm up for adoption! The best way to describe me is, VELCRO! I like to be around my foster moms so much that they have to peal me off like a piece of velcro. I like helping my foster moms do dishes and cook. I also MUST go with them to potty since they go with me too, it's only right! I love to snuggle just as much as I love to play. I tend to take all my toys outside with me but I love to fetch so it works out. I'm still working on going potty outside but I'm only 16 weeks old. I have foster dog and cat siblings and I do great with them. I'm a male lab mix and I will be neutered and UTD on shots. My adoption fee is $200.00. Head to our website and fill out an application!
