Story
Smokey is incredibly smart, loyal, and affectionate. He knows many commands (the basics, heel- not perfect, calm, roll over, paw). Currently working on crate training. Despite his playful, high-energy side, after his morning exercise, he loves to nap and relax during the day. Loves the snow, swimming, and if you can hang a rope from a tree he will be in heaven. Smokey gives the best hugs and snuggles. If you say "hugs" he will gently place his paws on your hips, and he loves resting his head against your neck for snuggles. He is reactive to other dogs on leash, but with an experienced, confident owner who understands his breed and continues training, he has a lot of potential. Great around people, needs a home with no young children. He does have allergies that require ongoing care, means to care for and take to regular vet appointment is important. Yearly blood work was just completed. All of Smokeys Gear will go with him, Crate, 2 beds, medication, food, toys, supplements.

Story
🎀Introducing the irresistible Isabel!🎀 Miss Isabel has told us she’s officially ready for her forever home, so who are we to deny her? This quirky little lady is an 8 year old Pug mix weighing in at 24lbs (but she’s on a diet!). We’re not quite sure what she’s mixed with, but we’re leaning towards a Japanese Chin 🤔 Or maybe she’s a Puggle! While we’re not sure, we do know that she’s a complete sweetheart who captures the hearts of everyone who meets her. Despite that, she has a tendency to latch onto one person and become their little sidekick. She’d love nothing more than to lounge on the couch with you for a cozy night in, binging Gilmore Girls and getting some belly scratches. If you’re not sold yet, here’s some extra stats on Isabel: 🍄 Isabel is housebroken & crate trained 🍄‍🟫 Don’t let her trick you, she is on a diet! Isabel just needs to lose a pound or two 🍄 Though she does love an activity, at the end of the day Lil Bellie is truly couch potato 🥔 🍄‍🟫 Isabel can be a bit unconfident at times, such as going to new places or meeting new people but easily thrives with gentle encouragement from her main person 🍄 She can be a bit of a velcro dog, but it comes from a place of love. Isabel just wants to be your bestie! 🍄‍🟫 Isabel gets along with other dogs, but would be just fine as a single dog too 🍄 Lil’ Bellie might be a small dog, but she is big goof. She’s always bringing laughter & smiles to everyone around her! If Miss Isabel sounds like she could be your new partner in crime, fill out an adoption application in one of two ways: 💌 Fill out on our website: canineliberationleague.com/application 💌 Or email us for one at: canineliberationleague@gmail.com Isabel is spayed, microchipped and has been fully vaccinated with Rabies, DHPP, Lepto & Bordetella. She is also fecal & heartworm tested. 📍 Location - South Lyon, MI 💜PLEASE SHARE to help Isabel find a home💜

Story
❄️❄️❄️ADOPT ME❄️❄️❄️ Little Fargo is officially on the hunt for his forever person. This older gentleman was found matted, cold, alone, and running down a freeway ramp. His hair is still growing back, and he will be even more adorable soon. We think he may be part poodle, part bichon (but it’s hard to tell without his hair!) Fargo is a small, lovable guy with a huge heart and an even bigger desire to be close to his person. Trust us, once he chooses you, you’re chosen for life. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who believes personal space is optional, Fargo may be your soulmate. Fargo proudly lives up to his “space-invading” reputation. He’ll happily crawl into your lap, follow you from room to room, and stare deep into your soul until you give him the attention he deserves. He’s also a bit of a sensitive guy. He can be a little timid at first. At the end of the day, Fargo’s perfect night looks like this: curled up on the couch with you, soaking up cuddles, and enjoying the comfort of being close to his human. Other key points: 🧊 He is a world-class cuddler 🧊 Food motivated and lives for mealtime 🧊 Fargo is friendly and respectful with other dogs and probably benefit from having a buddy 🧊 He would thrive in a quieter home with someone who’s around often and enjoys a slower pace of life 🧊 No apartments for this little guy, he likes to voice his opinions sometimes 🧊 Fargo does have some limited vision If Fargo sounds like your perfect couch companion and loyal little sidekick, fill out an adoption application in one of two ways: 💙 Fill out on our website: canineliberationleague.com/application 💙 Or email us for one at: canineliberationleague@gmail.com Fargo is neutered, microchipped and has been fully vaccinated with Rabies, DHPP, Lepto & Bordetella. He is also fecal & heartworm tested. 📍 Location - South Lyon, MI ‼️PLEASE SHARE to help Isabel find a home‼️

Story
Make sure to let us know you saw Misty on Adopt-a-pet. Misty has a lot to say about being in the shelter. She enjoys keeping shelter staff in the know about her kennelmates behavior and is often chiming in to conversations up front with her two cents. Brash and sassy, she is not afraid to speak her mind or demand you share your treats with her! Speaking of treats, Misty is on a special weight-loss diet for the time being. Her adopter will be responsible for continuing this journey with her so she can live her best life in her new forever home. We are trying to convince her that pets are just as good as Milkbones, and, don't tell her this, we think its working. Misty is quite the affectionate girl. She gets along with other dogs, cats and kids! **I'm in a foster home, please call the shelter first!**
