Story
Meet Chandler! You will LOVE this sweet boy! My brother found him as a stray, looked for his owner with no luck, and gave him a home. He is up to date on all of his shots, is chipped, and has a crate. They believe him to be about 18 months old and a staffordshire terrier/lab mix. He has the sweetest demeanor, does well with kids and other dogs/cats, but if not watched can be a little mischievous. My brother and his family already have a dog and cat and unfortunately are unable to give him the dedication and attention he needs. They need to rehome him, sadly, but would love to see him go to àa good home and not the pound or shelter. Please let me know if you or someone you know would be willing and able to take this sweet boy! Thanks!

Story
looking for a home for our loved cream toy poodle. 3 years old. Born 12/7/2021. About 7-8lbs. He is a very intelligent and sweet dog however he has become increasingly aggressive towards children. He was rescued by us when he was hit by a car at 6 months old. He had a successful surgery and it does not affect him in any way. He was raised in my home with my children and is wonderful with my tween daughter but aggressive towards kids including my 10 year old son. He has nipped my niece and nephew. He has had training and is very easy to teach but this is one thing we have not been able to overcome. Has been neutered and teeth cleaned. Does occasionally mark so I keep a belly band on him in case he is feeling naughty. Requires grooming. I love this dog, he is a Velcro dog & just wants to cuddle and sit with his person. Very affectionate. Does well with cats! Can be food aggressive when another animal goes near his bowl. Please consider giving our boy a home. He will steal your heart.

Story
Geo is affectionate handsome man. I rescued him in hopes he could join our family. Unfortunately he does not get along with my other dogs, he is very bully natured and wants all the attention. I feel he has some reactive issues and would be better suited in a home without pets or children to get the one on one attention and training he needs. He is very smart, he sits and stays on command. He loves to play fetch and loves his treats. He has not alerted me on when he needs to go outside, I just have been keeping him on a tight schedule for potty training but has minimal accidents since I have had him. He will need to be neutered and has a hernia that will need to be fixed when is neutered.

I have an older dog also. Which I am keeping. Ka'ta'yo, is 3 yrs old, Lab mix he is very smart. He knows how to fetch, etc... he does listen well for the most part. I am 63 and not able to walk and play like I used to. He loves the neighbor kids that come over to play with him, and walks him. He does jump a bit, but other than that he is very good. He is still kinda a pup who needs more attention that I can give at this point in my life.

Story
Make sure to let us know you saw Misty on Adopt-a-pet. Misty has a lot to say about being in the shelter. She enjoys keeping shelter staff in the know about her kennelmates behavior and is often chiming in to conversations up front with her two cents. Brash and sassy, she is not afraid to speak her mind or demand you share your treats with her! Speaking of treats, Misty is on a special weight-loss diet for the time being. Her adopter will be responsible for continuing this journey with her so she can live her best life in her new forever home. We are trying to convince her that pets are just as good as Milkbones, and, don't tell her this, we think its working. Misty is quite the affectionate girl. She gets along with other dogs, cats and kids! **I'm in a foster home, please call the shelter first!**
