Story
Ginger loves the other dogs and has really learned how to play. Still working on some counter surfing, but it has greatly improved. Potty training is a work in progress. She will not go in her kennel, but working on the rest. She is just so excited to have playmates that she might just get distracted. She is a real sweetheart who would thrive in an active household with another dog who can match her energy level. Ginger is 8 months old and weighs about 45 lbs. She is fully vaccinated but still needs to be spayed(at our expense). Loves other dogs but not cats. Walks nicely on leash. Crate trained.

Story
Delta is a beautiful girl with a HUGE heart. Cannot stress enough how kind, goofy, sweet and loyal she is. She is around 2.5 years old.She would be perfect in a home where she has space to roam and play and with someone who can give her the time and energy she needs. A home with other animals to play with would be great too! She is currently in a home with a dog, cat and infant baby. Great and friendly with all of them. Plays very well with other dogs as well.Kennel trained, leash trained, (sit, shake, lay down & hold until released for food). Will provide the kennel, dog bed, bowl, leash/collar, favorite toys and some of the dog food she is on. Willing to commute for the right home. Please reach out for more details.

Story
Atlas - Energetic, snuggly 8 month old looking for his soulmate   In his short life Atlas has been bounced around a lot. Recently, he has been learning a lot including confidence and trust in his humans. It took Atlas about a month to decompress at his current foster home so he will require patience, trust, and a lot of positive reinforcement. He has so much love to give we know it’ll be worth it! He's so eager to please his humans in the house and will need to be supervised, corrected (when necessary), and given positive reinforcement for him to be a successful dog. He response well to a confident human so an experienced owner is recommended for Atlas. Atlas will require a slow introduction to other dogs as he doesn't like them in his face right when they meet (As is common in many dogs). After 10-15 minutes, when he’s comfortable, he will initiate play.  Atlas does enjoy wrestling with his 3 foster fur siblings, however, it will take him a while to adjust to not only a new doggie friend, but also a new routine and new home environment.  He loves to chase, wrestle, and howl when he's ready to play. Atlas can get a little jealous when the other dogs try to snuggle with his foster mom, but he takes corrects well and backs off. He loves women and loves his current foster dad, but sometimes, he is fearful of other men. He has been going out in public stores and working on his confidence. He loves getting treats from new friends, so we highly encourage his new family to continue doing that for positive experiences.  Atlas has been working very hard on his manners with the resident kitty. It took him a few weeks to understand he can't play with the cat whenever he wants. He is allowing the kitty to walk around the house without trying to chase her. He will do best with a dog savy cat or a home without a kitty friend.  Atlas is also working hard on his manners! He sits and waits until the food bowl is on the ground. He is also learning sit and wait hand signals and knows lay down. He take treats nicely, but if he gets a little too excited, he knows "nice". Atlas has great recall. He is such a human pleaser that he doesn't like to go far from them. He LOVES fetch! He loved all the toys but loves playing fetch. He will bring the ball back and drop it without you needing to tell him.  crate trained but is a big fan of cuddling with his humans Potty trained but it’s common for dogs especially ones who have been bounced around to need an adjustment period so he may have initial accidents in a new home okay with kids who are calmer and let him come on his terms but with a dog that is more on the shy/scared side, he needs to build trust with everyone he meets so we recommend no kids under 8.  loves being told when hes a "good boy". If you’re interested in adopting Atlas, and are Pre-approved, please private message us, or APPLY HERE: https://newleashdogrescue.com (or private message us if you’re already preapproved!) **Atlas’s  $250 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines to date, heartworm test, current vet check, and microchip. ##2302886##

Story
Meet Arwen! (formerly known as Chrissy) Arwen is about 12 lbs of puppy cuteness and is proving to be one pretty fantastic little girl! She’s currently living with kids ages 1 and 6 and has been wonderful with them. Like any teething puppy, she can still get a little nibbly, but her foster family is working with her on those puppy manners.  A little more about Arwen:• Does very well with other dogs• Loves to snuggle AND play• Getting really good at potty training and sometimes makes it the entire day without an accident! • Sleeps in a kennel at night• Food motivated, which makes training a whole lot easier• Already knows “sit”• Loves fetch, playtime and going for walks• Does well on leash... although she sometimes prefers to hold her own leash. Apparently she has opinions about who should be in charge of the walk. • She’s a very quiet girl and rarely barks... unless you happen to be a broom. The broom is suspicious and must be told about itself. Arwen is that wonderful puppy combination of playful, affectionate, curious and cuddly. She’s still young, so she’ll need a family ready to continue working on potty training, puppy manners and all the other things that help a little pup grow into an amazing adult dog. And according to her foster family, she is very, VERY cute. We’re inclined to agree.  Adoption fee: $250Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip, UTD vaccines, heartworm test and current vet check. If you’re already preapproved, message us! Otherwise, apply at newleashdogrescue.com. ##2791602##
