He can take a bit to warm up, but once he does he's a big softie. He is very food motivated and loves playing with toys, especially squeaky! There isn't a dull moment with him around." Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10) 7 or 8/10Housetraining Status: I am working on it, a consistent schedule and lots of praise will help me learn!I should do well in a home: I am required to meet any and all dogs in my potential home. My humans haven’t seen me around cats so they don’t know what I’d be like around them. I am required to go to a home with children 13 years and older. Loves having a home setting and every day gets more comfortable. Plays with foster sis. Is decent on walks, only pulls when eager to go sniff something. Potty trained. Can sit and shake. Fine letting new people enter the house. Cannot get enough cuddles and pets. Really just wants to be in whatever room you are in and then will settle down. Can handle the crate for short periods like for errands. Only concern is longer periods alone, is definitely an escape artist. She will sit but may need a bit of encouragement to do so. She really likes seeing people and liked looking at other dogs, although we kept distance and didn’t interact with any other dogs. Overall she’s a great dog and it was a lovely afternoon.""Amazing girl, so cuddly, very sweet to kids and loves meeting other dogs (she was not allowed to get face to face)""Zara was a perfect angel baby! She did really well on her walk. She pulls a little, but after a bit, settled nicely into a good stride. She encountered dogs, squirrels and an outside cat and hardly paid any attention to them and was relatively easy to redirect from smells! After her long walk, she was content to snuggle on the couch. She certainly at times likes to get her face as close to yours as possible. She also really enjoys a good roll in the grass; this is probably when she is her silliest! We really enjoyed having Zara for her doggy day out""Zara was calm and cool and helped me relax and enjoy our time together. What really surprized me was how she watched squirrels and dogs without wanting to chase them or meet them. She did not seem tired when we stopped walking but fell asleep immediately in the car. So cute! She is responsive and loving without being overwhelming. She is very well-behaved and super sweet.
