Story
I have been caring for Bella for the past six months due to the death of her owner. I am disabled and having a tough time providing for Bella. Bella is now in a small encloser and needs a large fenced yard to run and play in. She was also a house dog with the previous owner, but I am unable to bring her indoors because of my pets. Bella would be happiest with a mature single person or couple. Bella is a very loving dog, but requires lots of attention.

Story
Hi, I'm Princess I am the sweetest girl! I am 2 or 3 years old so I have outgrown the puppy phase. I am house trained, I will let you know when I need to go out, but I prefer a schedule. I am not neutered as I have recently had puppies. I am heartworm negative. I have been around one child and behaved perfectly! I have not been introduced to other animals yet, including dogs or cats. I am an independent girl, I will relax on my own while my foster parents work from home or step out to run errands - I just lay in my cozy dog bed and nap. I do not try to jump on the furniture so I am very well behaved! I have been introduced to a crate and sometimes use it when I want some alone time. I am a bit timid and skittish when I meet new people, but I warm up quickly and will be asking for belly rubs in no time! I am not that interested in toys or bones, but love treats! I would love a home with a fenced in yard so I can be let out and run freely, I can run pretty fast when I get the zoomies! My foster parents have taken me on short walks & say that I am well behaved on a leash, but I am still a little nervous & getting used to this big world - I prefer my backyard where I can spend as much/as little time as I want. I have a very sweet demeanor and am friendly and affectionate. My foster parents don't think I've had many loving experiences, but I am learning to accept & return love everyday. I have come out of my shell since being saved from the shelter and still have so much to learn & experience! My new family will need to show me some grace and patience as I get acclimated, but I promise you, I'll be worth it! Just look at this face!

Story
Kennedy here! I'm a gentle giant with lots of love to give. They say I am a big goofy derp. Am I big? I don't think so. My breeds are a guess, but like a Great Dane, I love to rub my body on your legs and lean into you. My tail is like a helicopter and will fly in circles whenever I get excited. And I will follow you everywhere because being with you is my favorite thing. I'm a couch potato. Don't sit in my spot on the coach because I will try to squeeze into the spot until you move. Told you I don't know how big I am! Looks like plenty of room to me... The crate is not my friend but I'm a good boy and will not damage anything in the house when you leave me alone. I LOVE food but have learned to wait patiently before I can eat. I'm also working on leash walking and obedience commands. I'm a good boy and so eager to please. I will not run out the door when you open it. That's good manners. I can entertain myself with a bone for hours. I have seen a vet, am up to date on shots, got my microchip, and am already neutered. What more could you ask for? If you want a big lug to snuggle, ask for Kennedy! I can come to your place today.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi There!!! My name is Astro I am looking for my new best friend! I am an 11 month old, male. I have soft, shiny chocolate colored fur and beautiful light brown eyes. I'm really a handsome fella! I am neutered and heart worm negative. I am still young and trying to learn how to be the best dog ever. I am house trained and crate trained. I walk on a leash, but I do best with a prong collar or a front lead harness to slow me down just a bit! (I love walking outside and smelling all the smells). I like jumping, and like to stand and see what is on the counter... I've been told to stop, but sometimes I forget, I respond very well to reminders. I love playing! I like to play catch with a ball and tug with toys. I have a foster sister right now, she likes to play tug with me. I would love to have another dog to play with or just a human who will take me on lots of fun adventures. I would do best with older children, as I jump when I'm excited. I haven't met any cats yet. Experienced dog owners recommended as I still have some learning to do.Come check me out. Looking for my forever home.

Story
Hi! I'm Graham! I am around two years, neutered and at 60ish lbs, I'm a goofy guy. I'm tall and lean, have webbed feet and beautiful dark eyes. I'm a SHOW STOPPER. I'm an outdoor loving dog. I am getting out to explore and I love it when the foster parents grab the leash! On walks, I like a good "sniffari. No hurry here folks, let's just enjoy. Everything is new and I'm up for anything. What I need is someone who won't let me get into bad situations and has my back. Foster Mom thinks I might have been lost due to that NOSE. I can be a bit stubborn with smelling. And don't let my serious look fool you, I'm sweet and ADORBS and a ton of fun! Regarding dogs, I'm a social guy. Proper intros are REALLY important with all dogs, not just me. I can count the amount of "training I've had on ZERO paws. I'm learning the best behaviors; no potty mess, sleeping in a crate, the rules of counter surfing, no jumping on people. I like my people in sight- it's a nervous thing, and as I acclimate, I learn the best places to "chill. I'd love someone to teach me awesome tricks, like running after a ball and retrieving it- I'm figuring that out. Food is my reason for being, but sometimes it's a distraction to training. I'll make a lovely dog addition, or wouldn't mind the attention of a one and only. I'll be a dog savvy kid's best friend, and I'd like an adventurous family. I'm fostered South of Pittsboro and can't wait to meet you. Follow my journey on IG @the246.fosterdogs
