🤍 Meet Hutson 🤍🐾 This handsome little guy is Hutson, our sweet 1-year-old Shihpoo 🐶💙 Hutson has the cutest teddy bear look with his beautiful cream curly coat, soft apricot markings, apricot ears, and sweet little features. 🚨 Alert: Certified Good Boy Available 🚨 Meet Chase! This handsome devil strolled into the Richland County Dog Shelter like he owned the place on 7/13/25. We estimate he’s about 5 years old, but he claims he doesn’t look a day over 3. Chase is already neutered—so clearly someone once knew a good thing when they saw it. He’s playful, charming, and the kind of dog who will make you laugh every single day… mostly by being a lovable goofball. Looking for a loyal best friend with a wagging tail and a heart of gold? Story
Meet Idgie!! She strutted into the shelter as a stray on 11/7/25, and we think she’s about 3 years old—but honestly, she acts like she’s been running her own luxury spa for years. Idgie is stunning, sweet, and affectionate… basically, she’s the dog version of a rom-com lead who steals your heart in the first five minutes. She knows how to sit (fancy, right?) and loves treats so much she might just audition for a cooking show if snacks were involved. She’s basically a little bundle of charm wrapped in fur, with a side of sass and a dash of “please pet me immediately.” Idgie will be the ultimate companion for some very lucky family or individual—warning: she may also inspire spontaneous photo shoots, random giggles, and an unreasonable number of treat-based negotiations. She is available for adoption—so hurry in to meet this little superstar before she steals someone else’s heart (and snacks). Idgie is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH Phone: 419-774-5892 It is an application process. You can request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov .

Story
Meet Reggie!! 🎉 Reggie came in as a stray on 2/3/26, is about 2 years old, and has approximately 1,000% enthusiasm for life. This handsome hunk is super sweet, wildly playful, and firmly believes every human exists solely to play with him. Toys? Yes. People? Also yes. Playing with people using toys? His favorite sport. Reggie loves to snuggle—but only after he’s zoomed, bounced, and partied his way through the room first. He’s strong and pulls hard on the leash, so walking him currently feels a bit like being drafted into an impromptu CrossFit workout. With some training (and maybe a good pair of sneakers), he’ll be unstoppable. If you’re looking for a dog who brings the energy, the laughs, and the love, Reggie is your guy. He’s basically a personal trainer, comedian, and cuddle buddy all rolled into one. 🏃‍♂️🐾 Reggie is available for adoption—hurry in before he drags someone else down the hallway! 📍 Richland County Dog Shelter – Mansfield, OH 📞 419-774-5892 📝 It is an application process. Request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov Warning: adopting Reggie may result in sore arms, a full heart, and nonstop smiles 💙🐶

🎾 Meet Dixon: Professional Ball Enthusiast & Certified Good Boy 🎾 Meet Dixon!! He came in as a stray on 3/22/26, and we think he’s about 4 years old—but in his heart, he’s a full-time fun machine with zero plans of slowing down. Dixon is so cute and has a personality to match. His hobbies include: ✔️ Loving his blue ball with his whole entire soul ✔️ Going for walks like a leash-pro ✔️ Keeping his kennel squeaky clean (we love a tidy king 👑) ✔️ Sitting on command—especially if snacks are involved (which they should always be) He’s a smart, happy guy who knows how to have a good time but also has some great manners to go with it. Dixon would do best in a home with children 7 years and older, where he can be part of the fun without being overwhelmed. If you’re looking for a playful, well-rounded dog who will keep you smiling and maybe insist you carry a ball at all times… Dixon is your guy. ✨ He is available for adoption, so hurry in to meet him! ✨ Dixon is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH 📞 419-774-5892 📧 dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov It is an application process. She’s been your best friend for years the moment she meets you. 💁‍♀️💕 Tori is the kind of dog who walks into a room and instantly upgrades everyone’s mood. Bad day? Gone. Stress? Never heard of it.
