Here is Dolly ! She was originally a stray and ended up at a shelter with her siblings ! So we dont know her past ! She is all puppy - so please expect all the training ! Housebreaking - mostly housebroken Crate - she goes in on her own She does need more work on leash walking . She loves to play with toys and other dogs and being outside in the dirt! Right after she gets done eating she needs to get outside to do her business ! But she is such a doll! She is good with kids. Cats , other dogs ! She will be a medium sized dog full grown - probably not over 50 lbs ! She is spayed , microchipped , current on vaccines and current on flea and heartworm , been dewormed ! Introducing our newest favorite, Bowie! This sweet boy was found wandering on Summit Street back in July, and sadly, no one has come looking for him. We’re hoping his next stop is a loving forever home!Bowie is a young, goofy guy who is still figuring out this whole “being a dog” thing. He has some separation anxiety, so he’d love an adopter who is home often and willing to help him build confidence and learn that being on his own is okay.He’s also got a few manners to work on. His favorite leash activity? Trying to turn it into a tug of war rope. But underneath all that derpy puppy energy is a sweet boy who just needs some patience, consistency, and someone willing to show him the ropes. We have no doubt Bowie has all the makings of an amazing companion!If you think this lovable goofball might be your guy, come say hi and give Bowie the second chance he deserves. Bowie would love to meet your kids and other dogs! We’re open 12–6 during the week and 12–4 on Saturdays. Come meet Bowie!

Charlie just turned 3 years old — a birthday she spent, once again, behind the walls of the shelter she’s called home for almost a year and a half. 🥀She’s a beautiful Rottweiler/Retriever mix with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul… but you’ll have to earn the chance to see that side of her. Charlie struggles with meeting new people — the world hasn’t always been kind to her — but if someone could just give her a few chances, visit her a couple of times, sit quietly nearby and let her heart unfold on its own… they’d find the most loyal, gentle, loving dog waiting underneath the fear. 💔Once she trusts you, she’s pure sunshine — a snuggly, kiss-giving, tail-wagging angel who will follow you anywhere. She walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and loves to stretch her legs running around the yard before curling up in a soft bed or a pile of blankets. She doesn’t care much for toys — she just wants love, safety, and someone to finally stay. 🐾Charlie has done well with some dogs here, but she takes her time getting comfortable — both with people and other pets. She’d do best in a quiet, low-traffic home with no young kids or cats.She’s a staff and volunteer favorite because we’ve seen the real her — the dog that greets you with kisses, melts into your lap, and looks at you like you’re her entire world. 🌙We keep telling her that her person is out there. That someone will see past the nerves and realize what a once-in-a-lifetime dog she truly is.
