Story

Lacie belongs to my in-laws whose health is unfortunately failing and they are struggling to take care of her. This playful pup loves to go on walks. She adores her toys - chewy, squeaky, she runs all over with them. She loves being close to the people she loves. We think she's 8-10 years old. They rescued her and she has been nothing but a blessing and brings them so much laughter and joy. Please consider opening your heart to Lacie. She will love you endlessly in return. Thank you.

Story

Potato may not be the brightest, but she doesn't let it slow her down. She's a bit of a velcro dog and loves to curl up next to her people when it's time to relax. She's a big fan of the outside (especially colder weather) but loves it even more when you go with her. She's a big fan of playing in the hose too. She can get very vocal, so be prepared to know about every delivery, squirrel, and leaf that crosses the yard. She has no issues with the 2 male dogs she's in frequent company of, but we're unsure of how she'll respond to female dogs. We have introduced her to a friend's male dog and while it would take a few more sessions hanging out, she did start to warm up to him without incident. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. After meeting with a trainer, we got her on a low dose of Prozac that really seems to help her keep better focus and every day baseline so it is recommended that she stays on that. Our trainer has very kindly offered 3 free sessions to settle in.

This sweet, precious sunflower is Honey— a silly, 5-yr-old cuddlebug with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. She was rescued two years ago, but due to financial hardship and changing living circumstances, her previous owner couldn’t keep her. I’ve stepped in to care for her these past few months, but I sadly can’t provide a permanent home as my elderly blind dog doesn’t tolerate other animals. Honey LOVES people—she’s gentle, social, affectionate, and a champion sunbather. She loves her mid-morning naps, enjoys playful bursts of energy, and likes to “yap” when she wants food, attention, or a trip outside. At ~80 lbs she may look tough but she’s really just a big marshmallow. She would thrive in a home with no other dogs, plenty of affection, and ideally a yard for zoomies and sun-soaking. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and has no health issues. If you’re looking for a loyal, sassy, snuggly best friend—Honey is your lover-girl. She’ll love you forever if you let her.

Story

Delmar is a 10 year old dog with the energy of a puppy. He loves long walks and car rides. He loves being outside and curling up on the couch with people. I adopted him 3 and a half years ago from a family friend who couldn’t care for him anymore but now I do not have the schedule for an active dog. I just want to find him a home that will keep up with his energy and love him as much as I do. He has been an only dog with me and I am unsure how he is with other dogs. I know that he has been around children and cats and has had no issues with either.

Howdy! My name is Blu! I am a Handsome , 10 year old bulldog mix . I am fully vetted and potty trained. I am not only smart but active & I love to go for walks, explore! I have alot of energy for my age so you will get your steps in for sure! I LOVE LOVE to just snuggle & am always ready to watch movies or share dinner ! I will chase a ball & will entertain you with my witty personality! I walk well on a leash, knows "sit" "stay" "wait" "back" and "down" "leave it". I wait to go out of the house and come back in. He loves to watch the world go by out the window. He needs a 6' fence so he can zoom. I love humans & I dont mind older children (over 15 )who are respectful. I definetely need a home committed to giving me exercise! I loves hiking, walking, & I sleep very well when worn out at the end of the day! PS I don love to nap in the sun too! I sometimes have anxiety if I do not get the daily exercise so please know I will settle in with an active lifestyle..
