Story
This sweet, precious sunflower is Honey— a silly, 5-yr-old cuddlebug with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. She was rescued two years ago, but due to financial hardship and changing living circumstances, her previous owner couldn’t keep her. I’ve stepped in to care for her these past few months, but I sadly can’t provide a permanent home as my elderly blind dog doesn’t tolerate other animals. Honey LOVES people—she’s gentle, social, affectionate, and a champion sunbather. She loves her mid-morning naps, enjoys playful bursts of energy, and likes to “yap” when she wants food, attention, or a trip outside. At ~80 lbs she may look tough but she’s really just a big marshmallow. She would thrive in a home with no other dogs, plenty of affection, and ideally a yard for zoomies and sun-soaking. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and has no health issues. If you’re looking for a loyal, sassy, snuggly best friend—Honey is your lover-girl. She’ll love you forever if you let her.

Story
Meet Dolly 🌸 She is a low-maintenance, easygoing girl who enjoys short walks, lounging in the sun, and relaxing in the grass. She loves affection and quiet companionship more than anything. She gets along with other animals as long as they give her space, she’d do best in a calm home with relaxed pets or as the only animal. Dolly is a gentle 9-year-old, 55-pound sweetheart who has overcome more hardship than any dog should. She spent the first part of her life chained to a tree in Indiana for three long years, used for breeding until she could no longer have puppies. When she was no longer wanted, she was left to live in a car in Ohio. 🌸Despite everything she’s been through, Dolly’s heart is pure gold. She’s now working on gaining back some healthy weight and learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and recently had a few growths removed, so she’s ready for her forever home. After everything she’s survived, Dolly truly deserves a peaceful, loving place to call home, one where she can finally just be loved. ❤️ Text to meet Dolly 🌸440.773.1707 / (216) 470-4322❤️

Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Introducing Snickers, the 2-year-old, 23-pound Terrier mix who struts through life like she’s got her own theme song. (And trust us—it’s straight Lizzo energy.) This sassy little lady knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to let you know. Other bossy females? Hard pass. Cats? Absolutely not. A house full of laid-back boys or her own solo spotlight? Now that’s more her vibe. She may give a little side-eye (and a playful nip in the air) when someone interrupts her beauty sleep, but she’s all bark and no bite—just a diva making sure her boundaries are respected. Don’t get it twisted—Miss Snickers isn’t all attitude. She’ll smother you with kisses (seriously, ALL the kisses) and curl up right beside you for naps like the loyal queen she is. High energy? Yes ma’am. She’s ready to hike, walk, or run the world with you at a moment’s notice. Independent? Definitely. She’ll happily entertain herself with a stuffed toy—but still expects to be the star of the show. Even with her strong, independent attitude, this little lady still loves to be near her people. Polite with treats, crate trained, potty trained, and already a pro on the leash—Snickers has brains to match her sass. She’s strong, she’s bossy, she’s fabulous, and she will love you harder than anyone else can. If you’re ready for a pint-sized powerhouse who brings Lizzo-level confidence and diva energy into your life, then Snickers is ready for you. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 2 years Adoption Fee: $400

Story
Miller is a loving 7-year-old chocolate lab with a heart as big as his soft brown eyes. He has been adored for the past six years and is truly the definition of a loyal companion. Miller is fully house-trained, gentle, and happiest when he can curl up beside you. Miller does have separation anxiety, so he needs a family who is home often and can give him the reassurance he needs. He takes daily Prozac, which helps him feel calmer and more secure. He also has chronic ear infections, so a family willing to keep up with his ear care will help him live his best, most comfortable life. With a toddler now in the home, his sensitive ears have become a concern for everyone so his current family is making the heartbreaking decision to find him a home better suited to his needs. Miller would shine in a low-stress environment without young children, with someone patient, loving, and comfortable providing ongoing vet care.
