Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm Toro, a 3-year-old, 13 pound Terrier mix looking for my happily ever after. I came into rescue due to my owner having 4 children and it was too much for me. I am crate trained and working on house training, it is more of marking territory than having to potty, but consistency has helped me.  I walk good on a leash, love to go on car rides, and love other dogs, my size.  My foster mom says working with a trainer would be a good idea to boost my confidence as I was well socialized, and the big world can scary. I am learning how to relax and not be scared of new things so a patient family is what I need.  I do need a fenced yard, since a harness and leash being applied by strangers is a bit much for me, and a home with no children. I like to hang out with my people and sleep on the couch next to you or on your lap.  I do take a little to trust, so I need space and patience from my new family.  I haven't learned about thresholds yet, so making sure I can'tget out doors is important.  I do love toys like balls and anything rubber.  Will you be my new family so we can snuggle and play the days away!?! To adopt Toro, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, My Name is Eliana, I am a 4 year old yorkie looking for a forever home. I weighed in at 8.12 lbs and came into rescue due to my mom having health issues. I am a healthy girl and finished my vetting a bit ago, but have been working on my emotional healing that will be an ongoing process. I am crate trained and house trained. (With the exception of when I get scared. I do leak pee) I‘m learning to walk on a leash so a fenced yard is a must. I love to go on car rides, love other dogs, and to play with toys. I do love to be cuddled but, on my terms, and when I want. If you come at me too quickly, I tinkle. My foster mom is always asking what happened to make me so scared, and I just look at her and wag my tail. I love toys, especially the ones that squeak. I toss them around and squeak them as often as I can. I also love treats.... they are my favorite thing ever. I can't tell what my past was like, but in a calm home with a patient family, I will come around and blossom with time. Can you be my forever family!?! To adopt Eliana, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I am Beau, a cute, feisty 6-year-old, 10-pound Pomeranian looking for my next great adventure of a forever home. I get along with my furry foster friends but will appropriately correct other dogs if they make me uncomfortable. I could do well as an only dog getting everyone’s full attention or with other small furry friends. I am completely housetrained and will even give you a little sign if you forget. I definitely know when it's feeding time but generally sleep late in the morning, so breakfast time is negotiable. I am leash trained and like to lead the pack. Sometimes, I pull or get a little excited on the leash, but I do love a fenced yard. I like my rides in the car and adventures. I'm okay with grooming until you get to my nails. I might need a muzzle there. I'm also okay with at the vet with a little help (sedative medication). I attach quickly to my humans and look forward to doing the same with my furever family. I just need to feel secure and have boundaries set with a crate in order to thrive. I am alternately a cuddler and independent type, so the best of both worlds. Are you my future family? Am I your future companion? To adopt Beau, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Phoenix is a beautiful, energetic 1 year old, 12 pound Pom looking for her happily ever after! This girl takes a few days to settle in, but then it's snuggles, playtime, and her being silly. Phoenix does need a fenced yard as she isn't confident on a leash yet. She is house trained, crate trained, good in a car, good at the vet, and good with grooming. She does tend to prefer and play best with other small female dogs, but warms up to the boys with time and proper supervision. This girl is sure to capture everyone's heart wherever she goes, and is all vetted in time for a forever home! To adopt Phoenix, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bentlee, a special little 6 year old yorkie boy weighing in at 8 pounds. The world is a big scary place for him and we fear he had a traumatic past. He takes comfort in his bed away from activities, but he will wonder out for high quality snacks, and to squeak a toy, with a little more brave exploration each day . Ben really needs a special person that has time to hold him and help him feel comfortable in his own time. He in not a fan of the outdoors, but maybe when it warms up he will venture out more. He is ever so gentle and appreciates a good belly rub. Bentlee is good with cats and maybe another small dog or two that are calm. He prefers human females but would do ok with a gentle man to pamper him. In a patient home committed to this little guy, we know he will continue to come around. Won't you give this sweet soul a chance? To adopt Bentlee, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org.
