Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm Toro, a 3-year-old, 13 pound Terrier mix looking for my happily ever after. I came into rescue due to my owner having 4 children and it was too much for me. I am crate trained and working on house training, it is more of marking territory than having to potty, but consistency has helped me.  I walk good on a leash, love to go on car rides, and love other dogs, my size.  My foster mom says working with a trainer would be a good idea to boost my confidence as I was well socialized, and the big world can scary. I am learning how to relax and not be scared of new things so a patient family is what I need.  I do need a fenced yard, since a harness and leash being applied by strangers is a bit much for me, and a home with no children. I like to hang out with my people and sleep on the couch next to you or on your lap.  I do take a little to trust, so I need space and patience from my new family.  I haven't learned about thresholds yet, so making sure I can'tget out doors is important.  I do love toys like balls and anything rubber.  Will you be my new family so we can snuggle and play the days away!?! To adopt Toro, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Wilbur is a 6 year old, 9 pound Pomeranian looking for his happily ever after! This beautiful soul was born with some congenital issues that were never addressed, but it doesn't slow him down. His back legs are a twisted mess so sometimes he uses all 4, sometimes he walks with 3, and sometimes he walks on a handstand. The dude knows how to get around like a pro, but an owner should know he may need a cart in the future senior years. Wilbur's chest is also not exactly formed as it should, and his trachea is abnormal causing him to have a blue tongue, but an oral bronchodilator every 12 hours has really improved this guy's quality of life and energy level. He has lived thos way his whole life so he doesn't know he is different. Wilbur is the sweetest, most outgoing guy you will ever meet, and his good looks are unmatched. He is leash trained, house trained, crate trained, and he can do steps too! His perfectly sweet demeanor outshine his special physical needs, and best of all he doesn't really need any special setup because he acts like a normal Pom. Won't you be this deserving guy's happily ever after?!? To adopt Wilbur, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Skylar is an adorable little toothless senior gal looking for her forever retirement home. This 10+ year old girl weighs about 9 pounds now amd does need to lose a few more pounds yet. She is hilarious, sweet, loves snuggling, and belly rubs. Her only medical requirements are eye drops for corneal edema, drops for dry eye, and monitoring a benign lump on her front leg. Besides that she is healthy for a senior gal. She loves to romp with other small dogs or snuggle with them for a snooze. Skylar has lots of life and love left to give to a lucky family... Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, My Name is Eliana, I am a 6 year old yorkie looking for a forever home with a family experienced with scared little girls who are picky about human men. I weighed in at 8.12 lbs and came into rescue due to my mom having health issues. I am a healthy girl and finished my vetting a bit ago, but have been working on my emotional healing that will be an ongoing process. I am crate trained and house trained. (With the exception of when I get scared. I do leak pee even if I just emptied my bladder) I‘m learning to walk on a leash so a fenced yard is a must. I love to go on car rides, love other dogs, and to play with toys. I do love to be cuddled but, on my terms, and when I want. If you come at me too quickly, I tinkle. My foster mom is always asking what happened to make me so scared, and I just look at her and wag my tail. I love toys, especially the ones that squeak. I toss them around and squeak them as often as I can. I also love treats.... they are my favorite thing ever. I can't tell what my past was like, but in a calm home with a patient family, I will come around and blossom with time. Can you be my forever family!?! To adopt Eliana, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm Beau, a cute 6-year-old, 10-pound Pomeranian looking for my next great adventure of a forever home. I get along with my furry foster friends but will appropriately correct other dogs if they make me uncomfortable. I could do well as an only dog getting everyone’s full attention or with other small furry friends. I am completely housetrained and will even give you a little sign if you forget. I am leash trained, but I tend to pull or get a little excited on the leash causing me to cough so a fenced yard is required. Plus I have been known to go on solo adventures, so security is best! I love car rides, and meeting new friends. I'm okay with grooming until you get to my nails. I might need a muzzle there. I'm also okay with at the vet with a little help (sedative medication). I attach quickly to my humans and look forward to doing the same with my furever family. I just need to feel secure and have boundaries set with a crate in order to thrive. I am alternately a cuddler and independent type, so the best of both worlds. Are you my future family? Am I your future companion? To adopt Beau, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tobie is an adorable, sweet 9 pound, 2 year old Pomeranian looking for his happily ever after! He does need at least one other small dog to play with in his new home as he craves furry companionship to thrive. He loves his humans, loves walks and snuggles too. Tobie is perfection in a furry package. He is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained. His coat is a mess due to being shaved to short in the past, but we are hopeful it will grow back since he is young. He can be a picky eater, but his vetting shows he is all healthy so giving him space and time to eat twice a day is important. Won't you give this adorable guy his happily ever after!?!
