Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I'm Mickel, a 6 months old Chi/Yorkie/Terrier Mix, weighing in at 9 lbs of pure cuteness in an easy to maintain furry coat. I am a very happy boy and I have lots of energy. I love other dogs and cats so my dream home would definitely have a furry playmate, but If I don’t my human should be prepared to play as I am still a puppy and need lots of ambition ran off. I do like to walk and go on car rides as well. I would be best to have a fenced yard due to me wanting to run all the time, it helps to get my energy out. I came into rescue because I was hit by a car and taken to the emergency vet. That's when I was then picked up by Peace Love Poms Rescue where my foster mom has nursed me back to health and I’m enjoying the extra attention. Nothing was broken and I just scrapped up my left front leg. I'm all healed now and back to normal puppy antics of running and playing. I am also house trained, crate trained, loves playing with toys, and when I'm tired, I love snuggle my human. To adopt Mickel, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Chase is an adorable 5 year old, 8 pound Pomeranian looking for his happily ever after! He does need a home without children, and would do best as an only dog or with other small dogs that are able to interact appropriately as high energy pups stress Chase out. This little guy is phenomenally perfect, but does need some structure in a new home so utilizing a crate and restricting his access/freedom is a non-negotiable requirement as Chase can become possessive if left to his own devices. He also needs a feeding schedule of twice a day in a room or crate and no high value chews can be given. If these key instructions are followed, you have yourself an amazing little guy to share a lifetime with. Chase is leash trained, crate trained, house trained, and rides well in a car. He does great for grooming and vetting with a little patience. Chase is a sweet little man who loves naps, snuggling, and hanging out with adult humans. He gets along well with calmer small dogs too! Won't you be this guy's forever family?!? To adopt Chase, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
Koda will be 2 in September. She is very sweet and great with kids. She needs a large yard to roam and protect as both of her breeds are working/farming dog breeds. She is 85 lbs. when I obtained her she was 4 months old. She had already been adopted and returned (due to landlord circumstances as I was told). She is very timid and takes time warming up to people. She generally gravitates more towards females. She is dog reactive and pulls hard on the leash. We are working with a trainer to work on the pulling but when she she’s another dog you have to change direction because she will try to get to the dog at all cost. Due to my having arthritis in my hands I can no longer care for her if we cannot get the dog reactivity under control.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I'm Niki, a 10 month old, 18 pound Chihuahua mix looking for my forever home! I am a very happy boy, with lots of energy. I love dogs and cats, so it would be awesome to have a playmate in my new home. I take time to warm up to new humans, but when I am attached, you won't get me out of your sight. I am house trained, crate trained, and love toys (while being supervised since I'm a puppy and eat things I shouldn't). I love snuggling with my human when I’m tired. My foster mom even lets me sleep in bed with her sometimes. I won't jump down, but I do use stairs to get on her bed. I cry when she leaves the bed cause I want down to follow her. I LOVE my humans' attention. I like to go on walks and car rides. I need a fenced yard so I can run and play freely, plus I love laying in the sun. I came into rescue as my owner was dealing with some really bad health issues. She loved me so much that she found it in her heart to do what was best for me. While in rescue, they found out that I needed surgery on my back right leg because it was shaped incorrectly and causing me pain. I am 9 weeks post op as of 3/25/25, and doing great! I am doing exercises and playing with my friends to rebuild the muscle in my leg so that I can use it properly. The vet says I am coming along well and that I am ready for my new family to find me. To adopt Niki, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, and all the love you can handle!
