Story

Oakley came into rescue through a veterinary office. He was a under weight, neutered 5 1/2 yrs old who needed time to decompress. He is unknown to young children. However, he is good with children 11 years and up. He is having a great time playing with his new dog friend in his foster home. He has a big appetite, eats 3 times a day, and is one of the sweetest Danes you'll ever meet. He does have Addisons disease but this can be helped with a bit of prednisone. He also has pancreatic insufficiency, an enlarged heart, and Giardia but we are continuing to obtain medical services for him. He is not aware of his size so he will need direction when playing too rough. He will have a training contract as he loves to go for walks. However, if given enough lead he will pull you over. He is unknown with cats. If you're interested in a sweet Dane who loves walks and is a joy to be around, Oakley is your boy!
