🐾 Hi, I'm Bubba! I've been waiting over 900 days for someone to choose me. Could that someone be you? ❤️
Yep, you read that right. I've been at the shelter since April 2024, watching other dogs find their forever families while I patiently wait for mine. I'm not giving up, though, because I know my person is out there somewhere!
Let me tell you a little about myself! I'm a big, handsome Rottweiler mix with an even BIGGER personality. My volunteers describe me as a lovable goofball, and they're not exaggerating! I'm full of excitement, affection, and enthusiasm for life. Sometimes I get so happy that I forget just how big I am! 😂
My favorite things? Playing fetch, carrying around my toys, going on adventures, enjoying a good snack, and spending time with my favorite humans. I'm also a pretty smart guy! I've worked on obedience and leash skills with the shelter staff, and I'm always willing to learn, especially when treats or toys are involved.
Now, I do have a few things I'd like my future family to know. I'm a big, strong boy with lots of excitement, so I'd do best with an experienced adopter who can provide structure, patience, and continued training. I can be selective when meeting new people, so I need a little time to build trust. But once you're part of my circle, I love being close to my people!
I'm looking for an adult-only home where I can be your one and only pet. No other dogs or cats for me, please! I also need multiple visits before adoption so we can get comfortable with each other and start building that special bond.
And here's something else about me: as much as I love playing and exploring, I also enjoy relaxing and being close to the people I trust. I have a silly, energetic side and a sweet, affectionate side. You just have to get to know me!
I've spent over 900 days waiting for my chance. Over 900 days of watching the world go by, hoping that one day someone will look at me and say, "That's my dog."
I don't need a perfect home. I just need the right one. Someone who understands me, appreciates my goofy personality, and is willing to give me the time and love I deserve.
