Story
Meet Geoffrey This tiny 1-year-old heart-stealer wound up at ACCT Philly after being found as a stray. We happened to be there picking up another dog when we saw that little face… and he was absolutely pleading for a ride out of there. Of course, we couldn’t say no. After giving us a run for our money during his nail trim (small but mighty!), Geoffrey has settled in beautifully in his foster home. He’s working on his housebreaking — and he’s a smart little guy who will do his very best to keep his sleeping space clean by aiming out of his kennel. Geoffrey has been wonderful with the children, dogs, and even the cat in his foster home. He loves going for walks, adores attention, and his very favorite place to be is snuggled up on a warm lap. Lucky for his foster, he’s such a tiny guy that he fits perfectly. Geoffrey is now ready to find a forever home with a permanent lap to call his own. If you’re looking for a pocket-sized companion who will love you endlessly, Geoffrey might just be your guy. Meet Sidney who is the momma to the Scream pups. This beauty is about 50lbs and an absolute gem of a girl. Coming from the streets to the couch, Sidney would make any household a happy one. She is good with other dogs. She is not cat aggressive but will chase so unless your cat is dog savvy, we would recommend a kitty free environment. Sidney is housebroken and crate trained. She is spayed, chipped, 4DX negative, on preventatives and up to date on annual vaccines.  If you are interested in applying to adopt, please visit our website www.outcastrescue.com. Story
Meet Irene  A few months ago, we welcomed sweet Irene from ACCT Philly. She arrived with a severe skin infection and needed time, care, and patience to heal. Thanks to consistent treatment and lots of love, Irene is finally healthy and ready for a forever home of her own. Irene is a petite, ~40-lb pit bull, about 1 year old, with the softest velvet coat and the biggest heart. She’s the kind of girl who believes personal space is optional—sit on the couch and she’ll happily scoot in to spoon. Affection is her love language, and she would thrive in a home where her people are around often.  Good with other dogs – she’s done wonderfully with the large male dog in her foster home  Fully vetted – spayed, up to date on yearly vaccines, microchipped, and on preventatives  Extra TLC – she receives an omega supplement with her meals to support her skin after her intake infection If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who will happily be your velvet little hippo, Irene may be your perfect match.  Interested in adopting Irene? Story
Meet Mabel the former puppy mill mom. This 7 year old girl lived her life in Amish Country in a kennel used for one reason and one reason only - to pump out puppies. No life for any dog. Mabel came to us filthy and shutdown. She has spent the past month in foster with other dogs and kids. She quickly came out of her shell with them and is proving to be a pretty awesome dog. Mable is crate trained, kid friendly and dog friendly but prefers a more laid back companion. She has seen the cat in the home and has not cared at all. She is house broken also. She comes off shy at first but warms up and wants to be with her people. You must be over 21 to apply and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA (NO EXCEPTIONS!) Story
Meet Sky – Our Sweet Explorer!  Currently with Above The Standard Dog Training in Florida Sometimes, there are dogs we adore but just can't quite figure out — and that's when it's time to turn to the pros. Sky is one of those pups. A few weeks ago, we sent this beautiful 2-year-old girl to training to get a professional evaluation and a deeper understanding of what she needs to thrive. And it’s paying off in a big way! Not only is Sky having an absolute blast in training, but she’s also gaining some much-needed weight and starting to really come into her own. With her sleek black coat, curious spirit, and growing confidence, she’s blossoming into the dog we always knew she could be. &#226&#156&#133 Dog Friendly? Absolutely! Sky loves other dogs. She’s been great with males, females, older and younger pups alike. She enjoys playing and exploring with her doggy friends, and we think she’d really benefit from a confident canine companion in her future home.  Kids? We’re updating her bio here — we now think older, calmer kids would be a better match. Sky can be a little nervous meeting new people, and a quiet home without too much hustle and bustle will help her continue to grow.  Public outings & the car? She’s calm, well-behaved, and fairly neutral. Her obedience training is coming along beautifully — she’s food-motivated and loves to learn.  Energy Level: Medium. She enjoys the outdoors, loves to run and explore, and we think she’ll be a lake-loving girl once she gets the chance!  Crate Training & Potty Habits: Sky has had a few crate accidents, but nothing consistent. She sometimes holds her potty for long stretches (even after a good walk), so she's a bit quirky there, but she’s capable of holding it just fine.  Separation Anxiety: Sky would do best in a home where someone isn’t gone for long stretches (8–10 hours a day). She’s attached to her people and finds comfort in being near them. She’s sweet, sensitive, goofy, and full of potential — and she’s ready to find her person. Could that be you?
