Bella weighs 14 pounds and is as sweet as they come. She enjoys walks, still has plenty of pep in her step, loves relaxing in the sunshine, and is equally happy when it's time for an afternoon snooze. She is housetrained and is open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested, and should do well with children. Bella is currently in foster with Buddy who came from the same home. The foster is finding out they are not bonded and would do fine separated and would enjoy one on one time with you. Meet sweet Annie, who has been returned to PK after being adopted two times (!!!), each time by no fault of her own. She really deserves to find a permanent home to live out her senior years. Annie is 9-year-old pitbull mix. She weighs 50 lbs. Annie is very friendly and easy-going with her human companions. While she is a little older, she is still quite active and enjoys walks and playtime, followed of course by some good snoozes. We believe Annie would be fine living in a home with children, but she must be an only pet. She currently has skin issues due to allergies and is on medicine for treatment, including Apoquel. Meet Guinness! This handsome 6-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer weighs 59 pounds and is ready to find a family to call his own after being surrendered. Guinness is everything you'd hope for in a companion—friendly, incredibly affectionate, and a world-class cuddlebug who would happily spend his day by your side. He's the kind of dog who forms strong bonds with his people and loves being part of whatever you're doing. Although he was never used for hunting, he definitely has the instincts of his breed, so squirrels are simply too tempting to ignore! Because of that, he'll need to stay on a leash or be in a securely fenced yard. Guinness has lived with another large dog and is currently thriving in a foster home with multiple dogs. He's done well with children ages 3 and up and can be cat tested if needed. He'll benefit from continued structure and training, but he's intelligent, eager to please, and should enjoy learning with his new family. He's currently eating Wellness fish-based dry food, which seems to help with what may be allergy-related skin issues in the past. Meet Bolo! This 7-year-old Boxer weighs 78 pounds and is looking for a fresh start after being surrendered by his owner. Don't let his kennel behavior fool you—Bolo doesn't always put his best paw forward behind the kennel door, but once he's out, you'll find a friendly, easygoing guy who enjoys spending time with people. He seems to look to his humans for direction, walks nicely on a leash, and while he's on the lower-energy side these days, he still enjoys getting out for strolls and exploring the world. His previous owner trusted him to have free roam of the house when left alone, so he already has some great house manners. Bolo does get a little excited and jumps when greeting people at the door, but that's something his future family can continue to work on with positive training.
