Tank is a nearly 7-month-old pup (born May 29, 2025) who already weighs 53 lbs—and he’s just getting started. We believe he’s a Shar Pei / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and he’s expected to grow into a big, handsome guy around 80–90 lbs. For his size, Tank is actually pretty calm, but don’t be fooled—he’s still very much a puppy. Tank was surrendered by his owners by no fault of his own. He’s super sweet, affectionate, and social, but he’s also strong and a little mouthy, which means he’ll need a home committed to ongoing training, structure, and consistency. With his future size, good manners will be essential. Tank does well with other dogs, can be cat tested, and would be best with older children, as he may be a bit too much for the littlest family members. Meet Stardust (formerly known as Nancy). She’s a petite 10-pound Corgi and Chihuahua mix—otherwise known as a Chorgi—and 2 years old, with a birthday on November 12, 2023. Stardust was transferred to us from a regional shelter with her sister last summer, after being surrendered due to family health issues. At the time, Stardust and her sister were adopted together, but the sibling rivalry has become unhealthy, and the sisters need to be separated, so Stardust is back at PK in search of a dog-free home where she can shine as the dominant diva that she is. Stardust is playful, a little feisty, and loves toys and balls, so much so that she’s not a fan of sharing! She’s observant, smart, and loves being the center of attention. She also likes to be held. Stardust can’t live with other dogs but can be cat-tested if needed and could live with older kids. Snowflake is growing fast and will be large once full grown. Snowflake is your typical active puppy, eagerly learning about the world around her. She loves toys, running around with her littermates, and playing outside in the snow…followed by naps. Lots of naps. As a working dog breed mix, Snowflake will need consistent structure and activity in her life. Her future family will need to be committed to this, especially during her formative puppy months. She takes time to warm up to some people though, especially men, and may need multiple meets to build trust before being ready to be adopted.
