Story
Nala is a stunning 7 year old petite pittie mix. Even though she's getting older she is full of energy ! A family that can be very active with her and take her out on walks/hikes/runs as well as someone who has a fenced in yard would give her the opportunity to fully flourish. She is defenitly a people dog and loves to be with her human/ humans. She'll even love to go on car rides with her new family. She is an extreme attention hog and would be best suited for a home where she could receive all the attention and not have to share,as she can also be pretty selective with other animals. She currently resides in a home with 2 small children and does well with them, however she does get super excited at times and forgets that she needs to be careful around them so she doesn't knock them over. She is leash trained and needs to be crated when home alone but doesn't love to be in her crate for long periods of time. She is currently taking something to help her deal with her separation anxiety and her new home would need to be ok with administering her 1 pill a day. A family that can be home with her quite often would be a good fit for her. If you're looking for a lifetime companion that will stay by your side, then Nala might be the one for you !

Story
Meet Georgia! Georgia is a young Norwegian Elkhound/Great Pyrenees mix. She came to us as a young puppy with a broken back leg which required surgery and an external fixator to correct. She has since recovered wonderfully and is ready to find her forever family! Georgia is very sweet and loves hard. She is high energy and very vocal when she wants attention. Her favorite things are running around the yard and playing with her foster siblings. She would make an excellent running or hiking partner! She could potentially excel in learning a dog sport to help keep her stimulated. She would do best with another fur sibling to play with and help relieve some of her energy. She is great with dogs of all sizes but sometimes needs to be reminded that they need some personal space. She has been exposed to cats and will tend to chase them, but hasn't shown any outward aggression. Georgia would love an active family who can match her zest for life! Any human siblings should be older than 10 because of her high energy and likelihood of knocking over little ones. Her ideal home is a detached, single family home with a physical fence to allow her the freedom to run and play like she loves to do. She is potty trained but regression is common in new environments. Georgia is spayed and up to date on her core vaccines and preventives. Her adoption donation is $450.

Story
Leia is a beautiful high energy 14 month old. She is a Great Pyrenees who is very affectionate. She likes giving hugs to humans and canines alike. She will ask anything to play with her and needs an active home to keep her stimulated. If a toy does not catch her fancy she plays with rocks. She just LOVES to play! She has a few down sides so a tidy house is a must. She loves to steal under garments and shoes are a favorite item to chew. She needs to be kept busy or she will find something new to test with her teeth and paws. Shes your typical working dog young adult! She plays outside in any weather. She sadly was not allowed to be a puppy and now at the age of 14 months old, she is making up for lost time. She is currently fostered with cats and does fine. She is crate trained and spends each night in her crate on a soft dog bed. We don't recommend small children as she loves to jump up and needs manners. She does need a fenced in yard or an active home with will help her expend her energy. She would do best as the only female dog in the home but should be fine with a male or as an only dog. She will be an amazing addition to a family that will help her continue to learn manners. For an application please visit Www.zoeshouserescue.com

Not good with kids,
Story
Looking for his perfect match! Name: Emmett Age: ~7 Sex: Male Breed: Chi/Jack Russel Mix Looking for: Adult only-home Love Language: Balls & ear scratches Good with: Kids: Not preferred Cats: Unknown Dogs: Yes, low energy, non-playful dogs "I am a small, middle-aged boy who is in his PEAK years! I prefer an adult-only home because I don't trust kids... can you blame me? Some would say that I have commitment issues so apparently, I need someone who I can trust that will ensure I am never let down by a human again. I am iffy with new people but will eventually warm up and then I'm super clingy. When it comes to other dogs, I am not a paw-ty animal by any means, and I require a nice long handshake and butt sniff before letting you join my circle. I guess I'd be willing to share my human with the right pup....I'll let you know. I like to take things slow: trust, love, and pets. DON'T ask me to clean your gutters, I live by the "feet on the floor" rule and am a little scared of heights, so I prefer not to be picked up. All I need is a ball to chase or a comfy spot on the couch or on your lap. Don't take it personally but I LOVE my crate. Sometimes it's nice to have alone time. I have some quirks...AKA don't touch me where I don't want to be touched - but once you learn my "DNT Spots, you can give me love everywhere else! Listen, I'm a gutsy guy who is looking for someone who can handle my big personality in my tiny body. I'm UTD on my vaccines, can't get anyone preggers, I'm chipped so that you can stalk me & have a clean bill of health. If you want to make me yours, you have to apply so my "foster mom can "approve. Can you believe she gets to make the final call?!"

Story
Everyone, meet Milo! Milo is a 11-month-old black lab, male, who found his way to us after a life-threatening sickness a few weeks back. You may remember the beginning of his story, where he was surrendered by his loving owners after he fell ill, and they could not afford to get him the care he needed. After spending 5 long days in the ER Milo was released into the care of his foster family and has been thriving since. Hi friends, I'm Milo! When I first came to my foster home I was at my worst. I wasn't eating really well, and I didn't really want anything to do with the other dogs in the home. Now that I am all better, I am just the happiest little wiggle butt! I love all my humans, both adults and kids and I am getting along nicely with the other 5 pups I am sharing my space with. I love spending time in the backyard. I love to play fetch. I could stay out there all day if you let me. Due to my love for running and a high prey drive, a fenced in yard is required for me. Did I mention I like toys... squeakers, bones, all kinds of toys! I do walk nicely on a leash but could use more practice. I don't mind sleeping in my crate most times but, I would prefer to be by your side. Oh and guess what I mastered this thing called potty training (regression is normal in a new environment). Milo is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. If you feel like Milo is the missing piece to your family, please visit our website at http://www.zoeshouserescue.com and apply. He would love to meet you!
