He was surrendered through no fault of his own, and now he’s hoping to spend his golden years in a calm, loving home. Jasper is a gentle little guy who loves kids and enjoys the company of small dogs, though big dogs can be a bit scary for him. He can be cat tested if you have feline friends at home. He walks beautifully on leash and is as polite and soft-natured as they come. Like many seniors, he has a few quirks: he’s anxious in the car and not a big fan of nail trims. He’ll also need regular bloodwork to keep him feeling his best as he ages. Lilly is a calm, gentle soul who prefers to take life at an easy pace. She patiently waits her turn for walks, happily toddles alongside you, and then settles in to watch the room with curiosity, taking in all the action without needing to be in the center of it. She’ll need regular grooming to keep her coat at its best, but she doesn’t ask for much else—just short walks, cozy naps, and plenty of cuddles. Lil Blu is an 8-year-old Patterdale Terrier mix. She currently weighs 30 lbs. but is in need of a summer slim down. Lil Blu is friendly and affectionate, but is somewhat sensitive to handling, and therefore shouldn’t be in a home with young kids. She is open to meeting other dogs and can be kitty-tested. As a middle-aged gal, Lil Blu isn’t particularly high-energy, but she would benefit from a home that prioritizes routine exercise (short walks or focused play time) and healthy portions to maintain a healthy weight.
