Story
Open the door to your own Casita, and welcome in Felix! This adorable, cuddly guy is seeking his forever home. It shouldn't take long for him to settle in somewhere -- after being raised by devoted mother, Alma, alongside several bouncy siblings, he is a true embodiment of familial love. Felix is ready to show off his magic gifts to a forever family that will cherish him for years to come!  We expect Felix to stay under 25 pounds, given his short stature! He is the smallest and his litter, and we're surprised he hasn't gotten adopted yet (because he's the cutest, too... in our opinion). Felix is getting the hang of his crate training and potty training, and he is well-socialized with small children and other dogs of all ages. He's not overly demanding, though he loves to curl up in your lap and he definitely has a playful side. Felix has the sweetest grumbles and he will give a short "yap" when he wants your attention. Overall, he's a well-rounded boy that is simply loved by everyone. At three months old, he is starting to learn more about the world and all it has to offer for precious rescue dogs. So, we invite adopters to step into our version of the Casita for a meet & greet, whether it's his foster's home or an adoption event! Apply to meet Felix if you believe he belongs in your family's miracle!

Smooth, versatile, and always inviting–We promise this young boy sits just right with everyone. Meet Cream! You may have guessed why Cream has such a milk-forward name: Those speckles overlaying his gorgeous white fur bring to mind the most delicious treats. Whether you are craving something kinda sweet, or maybe a little something to chill your palette, Cream is the perfect addition to any family. Being a Blue Heeler, he is the kind of dog that will give back as much as you put in. Heelers are highly intelligent, full of fun, and incredibly loyal. They are often known as “velcro dogs” due to their intense devotion to their people! Be sure to provide early training, mental stimulation, and plenty of exercise to keep Cream happy as he grows into your perfect companion. He’s only eight weeks old, but he’s ready to make a splash with you! So, what are you waiting for? Give Cream a try today!

Story
Meet Meredith, our very own Golden Girl! This sweet lady came to us after tragically being hit by a car, and while she wasn’t able to stand at first, her resilient spirit never wavered. After a week of supportive care, Meredith started to regain use of her rear limbs. She was transferred to our rescue where she was diagnosed with a fractured fibula. The good news is that she simply needed a splint and we expect her to heal uneventfully. And after just a few days, she is moving around with ease. Hooray. She also tested positive for heartworms and is underway with her treatment. Therefore, her adoption fee is slightly higher to help offset a portion of her medical care. For those that are not familiar with Golden Retrievers, they have earned their stripes for all the right reasons. Goldens are social, always in a good mood, deeply bonded to their owners, gentle, affectionate, intelligent, and often referred to as clownlike. They love a good body of water, are avid swimmers, and will chase a tennis ball or carry a stick for hours. Goldens are co-dependent in a good way and a sought after breed for families. Often seen at nursing homes or visiting hospitals, there is a reason Goldens win the gold. So if we haven’t sold you on this breed or why you need to adopt this fabulous rescue, read this bio again and have a glass of wine. We promise she won’t disappoint. Twith the biggest, brightest doggy smile you've ever seen! Her joyful personality is completely contagious, and this beautiful, smiley Golden Girl is officially ready to bring a lifetime of sunshine to the forever home she so truly deserves.

Story
Howdy y’all! I’m Raz––a handsome, sensitive soul looking for a fresh start after my previous owner sadly passed away. I’m a loyal and independent guy searching for a quiet, low-key environment. Recently, I’ve been loving my training boot camp at Lone Star State K9, learning how to be a polite pup and stay in my crate. I may be a cowboy, but that doesn’t mean my manners can’t be top-tier! Despite still being a puppy, I’ve been told I’m kind of an old soul… so I’d prefer hanging out in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy kids who respect boundaries; I love to be around my people, but I also just like my personal space sometimes! When it comes to other pets, I’ve got kind of a lone wolf attitude, and personally, I’d love to be your loyal one-and-only. My feelings have been hurt by other dogs before, but I’ve been doing a great job at camp learning how to dust off my boots and handle it. That doesn’t all mean this cowboy can’t get rodeo-rowdy. I love a good “bug tussle” with my person. If you’re looking for a total roly-poly, I’m your guy! I’m ready to retire from the range and be your loyal canine companion. Apply to adopt me today!

Story
Former MySA ‘Pet of the Week’ and professional cuddler, we introduce to you Azul! If you love the majestic look of a Retriever mix but prefer a more laid-back lifestyle, Azul is your guy! While his brothers are busy exploring the backyard, Azul is the master of Zen. He is the calmest of the bunch, preferring a structured routine, leisurely walks, and deep-soul connection. Don’t get it wrong… he still has that fun puppy spirit, but his favorite activity by far is resting his big head in your lap and showering you with the gentlest, sweetest puppy kisses you’ll ever receive. Ready to add some peace and love to your home? Apply to adopt Azul today and claim your spot on the couch next to him!

Story
Move over, TV stars—the real Max and Ruby have arrived, and they are ready to jump off your screen and straight into your heart! Warning: Adopting this cute duo will result in becoming utterly obsessed. These two are the definition of "sweet and friendly," but they each bring their own unique personality to the party: Ruby is the social butterfly! Bubbly, outgoing, and always ready to greet you with enthusiasm. Max is the strong, silent type at first. He’s a little more reserved initially, but once he meets you you're his person, he melts completely. When they aren't busy stealing your heart, they are usually busy chasing each other around in an epic game of tag. They do everything together and can't wait to find a forever home where they can stay a team forever.
