Story
Goblin is a roughly 4-5 year old rescue. Originally picked up after a disaster in Texas. Independent and curious, he loves sniffing everything. He's reasonably well trained and is able to be left alone outside of a crate. He does well with kids, cats, and most other dogs. Friendly and sociable. Has been attacked by German shepherds to where he's scared of them and doesn't much like rough housing. He loves his balls and rarely plays with any other type of toy. He might have had water based trauma as he avoids sprinklers, rain, and anything deeper than a kids pool. Trained to sit and wait for food, to go outside, or to get in the car. Overall well mannered, doesn't bark much. He just needs more social interaction and play time outside. He has a metal kennel, bed, abundance of toys, treats, container of food, etc. He's a sweet boy, just deserves someone that can give him the time he needs.

Story
Meet Shadow! She is a female German Shephard born November 13, 2017 who is looking for a special family who will work with her megaesogphagus which is a condition that requires her to eat pureed food from sitting up. Dogs with this condition can live long and productive lives and we expect Shadow to as well! She’s friendly with other dogs great with kids and being trained /raised by Mary with Service Peace Warriors. Shadow is a beautiful girl who is very shy but bonds strongly and quickly with 'her people'. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise. Applications can found at our website mikeyschance.com. Please note that adopters are not chosen on a first come, first served basis, but full consideration is given to the best fit for the dog AND the adopter. Applications can 2-4 weeks to process, application submission does not guarantee approval for adoption.

Story
Born September 11, 2019, Lando is a male German Shepherd. He has megaesophagus so he does require eating and drinking upright in a Bailey chair but is able to just eat regular kibble while in his chair. He requires 20-30 minutes upright in his chair after eating each meal. Lando is a typical shepherd who bonds closely with his people. He currently lives with other dogs and older children. Once he warms up, Lando is very goofy and silly. We do require a fenced yard and breed experience for our German Shepherds. All dogs in adopters homes must be up to date on vaccinations and altered. Homes must have a 6ft secure fence and no children under 5. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise. Born October 13, 2019, Snow is a Parson Russell Terrier mix seeking a home of her very own. Her is how her foster mom describes her: "Snow is a ball of energy! She loves wrestling with her puppy pals and going for walks. She is loving and loves to be near her person snuggling on the couch or watching whatever you’re doing.
