Story
My name is Lola, I’m not a show girl. But I am sweet as can be and loyal to a fault! I am a year and a half old, large breed mix of shepherd, Rottweiler and? I like to hang out at home with my foster parents and help with the farm chores, going for walks, playing in the water troughs and hanging out. With the help of a local trainer I have gained a lot of new skills, learned that meeting new humans is great and that her favorite dogs to make friends with are laid back adults. I am spayed, chipped and vaccinated and are ready to go! My trainer believes in me so much that she is going to give my forever humans 4 months of free training help AND pay 1/2 my adoption fee! Please inquire about me today!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog? Story
Clifford was born 08-14-2022. He is "mostly" housetrained and though he's not crate trained, he's used to spending some time in a puppy pen, so crate training should be easy. He's a little vocal when new visitors come to his foster home, but he calms down quickly. He loves to play and cuddle. Because all of the rescues and shelters are so full, we are increasingly doing "foster to adopt" arrangements where you make sure a dog is a good fit for you before commiting to adoption. If you're interested in this win/win option, just ask! We look forward to hearing from you! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog? Please complete our adoption questionnaire found at: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-canine/ If you have any questions. please E-mail us at dogsadopt@popptricities.org. ADOPTION PACKAGES: Our puppy or dog adoption fee of $300 includes a lovable, non-judgmental canine companion, and a free vet exam. All dogs will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Your adoption fee helps support POPP and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.

Story
Nova is a sweet and calm five-year old shepherd mix. She does fine with older children, but little ones make her nervous. She loves walks, playing keep away, couch sitting, hard-boiled eggs, cheese and whip cream! This smart girl knows lots of commands: sit, shake, lay down, roll over, and go to your bed. She is fine loose in the house when no one else is home, but make sure the garbage can has a lid, lol. She does ok with other dogs as long as they are calm and nice. Nova would do well with a hiker or avid walker. Nova is currently living in an apartment and does just fine in another apartment, as long as she has her walks. We are increasingly doing "foster-to-adopt" arrangements, so if you'd like to take this pup for a trial period before committing, we're good with that. Just ask the adoption counselor! It's a great way to make sure that everyone's a good fit for each other before signing on the dotted line. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog? Story
Cooper is one of those amazing pups that has been waiting for his forever home since he was only 8 weeks old. “Everyone wants a puppy!” Is the common thought, but if that is true, why is Cooper now a year old and still not in his forever home? Cooper is good with kids, other dogs and he find cats interesting. He has been to training classes, likes learning new things, doing new things and requires regular exercise (not just a back yard to hang out in). Being a bully breed, Cooper does have allergy issues and is on a daily medication. His foster is awaiting test results to learn what all he is allergic to. He may even require a special diet to keep his allergies at bay. If you are committed to meeting the needs of this amazing pup, please fill out our adoption questionnaire. We are increasingly doing "foster-to-adopt" arrangements, so if you'd like to take this pup for a trial period before committing, we're good with that. Just ask the adoption counselor! Story
Koda is seeking a quiet home to live out her senior years.... though she's not quite ready to be called a senior! Her DOB is August 12, 2016, making her seven years young. She is good with other dogs, but who does she really love? PEOPLE! Koda has never lived with children, but older children would be just fine. She loves her daily walks, carrots and other snacks, car rides and just hanging out. She likes affection, but she can have an "aloof" side to her too, so if you're looking for a dog who will love you but knows when to quit, Koda may be your girl! She's content to take a nap and chill. While Koda has never lived with a cat, she did encounter one in her foster home's backyard the other day, and her reaction was good, so cats are a maybe??? Koda is used to her crate, including sleeping in it at night, and she is completely housetrained.
