Story
Oscar, a parvo survivor, is a confident, fearless, and loving dog looking for his forever home! He's energetic, vocal and sassy, and gets along with cats. He is dog selective, Oscar can thrive as the only dog or with a medium- large companion who can correct him. However, he needs improvement when other dogs bark at him, as he gets overly excited, and requires a slow bowel feeder since he's highly food-motivated and eats quickly.

Story
Meet Sagemoor (also known as "Sage")! This gorgeous girl was born approximately May 3, 2021 and our best guess to breed is a Brittany Spaniel possibly Border Collie mix. She was found by a Franklin County Sheriff dumped out near Columbia River Rd in Pasco WA. An amazing volunteer went to get to her. While initially hesitant, she was eventually leashed and loaded into the car heading for a new life! She has spent time at Mattox Dog Training Academy and is ready to find her forever family! Sage is a VERY active dog, if you are a runner /hiker avid outdoor person, she’s your girl. She loves to run and get her zoomies out and is very obedient - eager to please! She will take a bit to warm up to new people but her love is deep once she does. She is the absolute best cuddle buddy, the sofa is her preferred cuddle zone. Sage will do well as an only dog or with other canine companions - she seems to prefer males. Her best fit home will be one with adults or adults and kids over the age of 8, and one with a fully fenced yard. Apply for Sage at www.mikeyschance.com

Story
"Hi my name is Harbour and I was born November 8, 2024. I am a sweet male pup who is very grateful to have survived Parvo and recovered completely. I am now neutered, microchipped and vaccinated so this means I’m ready for my forever home! Even though I am young, I am crate trained and working on my potty training and making great progress. I love to be around other dogs and get along well with kids and kitties too! While nobody knows for sure what breed I am, is that even the most important part? I could be a Rottweiler / German Pinscher or perhaps even have some Chihuahua in me! Full grown I’ll likely be medium sized. Although I love being in my person’s lap, I’m also up for fun adventures. I’d make a great companion for kids over 5 and for someone with a securely fenced yard. Are you the family I’ve been searching for? I hope so! Apply for me at www.mikeyschance.com"

Story
Meet lovely Saiga! Born approximately July 26, 2021 she came to us via Tri City Animal Control. We initially treated her for parvo while in the care of animal control-she was lined up to go to a rescue in western WA when her former owners came forward and took her back into their care. Fast forward a bit and she landed back at animal control, we couldn’t let her remain in the shelter and so here she is! Saiga is amazing with people-she has the best kisses and loves human affection. Saiga's only weakness is that she's not good with other animals so will need to be in an only dog home. Even after training she is not safe around other animals so it's very important that she's adopted as an only pet. She will require a secure 6 foot fence - no chain link and no exceptions. Saiga has a lot of love to give and will make a great companion. Her best fit home will be an adult only one. Applications to foster or adopt Saiga can be submitted at www.mikeyschance.com
