Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We rescued Darrell in December of 2022 from a shelter. He had not been there long, but he was not doing well. He was hiding in the corner of his cell and shaking. He had been neutered the previous day. He seemed very scared but sweet. After about 2 weeks, he wagged his tail and started to settle in. We rescued another puppy in May 2023 and he came even more out of his shell. He has not progressed much since then. He needs someone who is experienced with scared dogs and preferably a kid free home. We love him and want him to be with people who can help him more than we can. We have exhausted all our knowledge and abilities, and we care so much about him that we know he would be better off with someone more knowledgeable. He is so sweet, just not a good fit for our family. We are willing to keep him cared for and spoiled until the right person comes along. He loves to be tucked into blankets, he’s great on a leash and in the car. He knows commands and is potty trained.

Story
This is the story of a strong, mini-pittie named Freya, or Frey-Frey as some have come to call her. She was found in a farmers fields and had unknowingly ate a bunch of rat poison. Because of this she had a issue where her blood wouldn't clot no matter how small of a cut she got. Everyone was so worried that the poor tiny pup might not make it if she accidently got hurt! But despite it all she managed to get better after taking a bunch of nasty tasting medicine! Now Freya is one of the happiest, wigglist dogs here in the shelter! She loves attention and is curious about many things. She is still only 8 months old but everyone is pretty sure that she is fully grown. So why not have her story have a happy ending by becoming the new princess within your home?

Story
Tia is a very calm, sweet girl who needs to be in a home that is very active but without smaller animals. She doesn't always know her own size which can lead to funny issues. She doesn't bark much and has a tentative demeanor here in the shelter that we are sure could change into an outgoing nature if given the proper time and affection.
