Story
Opal is my 2 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix. She is a very high energy dog that loves to run and play and has a lot of love to give. She is a very playful, silly and sassy girl with a lot of personality, in the best way! I am unable to meet Opals needs sufficiently, and she deserve to live the best life possible! Ideally, Opal would be placed with a loving, welcoming, active and patient family that can meet her where she is at and be willing to work with her. She needs a lot of exercise, ideally in a fenced in back yard. She is potty trained and knows basic commands, but could use training for other behavior areas. Opal is a very loving, sweet and fun dog, and she deserves someone who has more resources to properly train and care for her.

Story
Ellie is one of the sweetest most lovable, most playful, best trained dogs I've ever had! My husband does not want a dog and he is with her for the majority of the day because I work out of town. He cannot watch her and she is busy! 1) leash trained and heels. She sits automatically when you want to put on/take off the leash. 2) she is amazing with going to the bathroom. We have 1.8 acres, she goes to the bathroom and comes right back. She does not bark though, so you need to keep checking the door. She never ever runs after squirrels or birds or out of the yard. We walked the perimeter with her for 3 days and she has never gone out of the yard. 1x when she went toward the road I said, "hey" low and firm and she came right back. 3) she loves kisses; hugs; playing; wrestling; running! 4) crate trained; sleeps 7-8 hrs at night. 5) needs "a job," lots of energy, needs to be with people or chews everything, gets into the garbage, loves eating toys! 6) very sensitive to loud voices.

Story
I rescued my dog from a shelter. She is approximately 2.5 years old and it was disclosed to me she has a history of abuse but they weren’t sure what exactly happened to her. She was found pregnant and all of her puppies were adopted. It is suspected that she has had multiple litters but it wasn’t made clear how many. I’m looking to rehome her due to my work schedule and the constant relocation of my job. I would like her to go to a home with people who have experience with rescued dogs, and experience with her pitbull/mixed breed. She does well with children and most dogs. However, she does not like cats. She is very laid back and enjoys being super close and cuddly. I have taught her some basic commands but she doesn’t like being in her crate and avoids it. It was a very heartbreaking decision to decide to rehome her, but I need to do what’s best for her. Please consider loving on this sweet girl and giving her the life she deserves.
