Story
Meet Kailow, He's a very good boy but needs a home with a family that has time for him. He's a big energetic boy so he prefers you have a yard. Kailow knows basic commands but still needs a bit more practice with them. He has a sensitive tummy so I recommend getting him a food mean't for that kind of thing. He's really good in public around a lot of people and other dogs from what I've experienced. I wish I didn't have to give him up but I want him to be able to be happy and not stuck inside all day while I work 12 to 15 hour shifts. If you are looking for an incredibly loyal friend then Kailow is your man! Please take care of him. I'll give you his kennel, harness, leash, and food.

Story
Spayed female 1.5 year old 50 pounds Adoption fee: $400 Good with Men & Women?: Yes Good with Children?: Yes Good with other Dogs?: Basil is dog selective. She has been successful with dogs larger than her and dominant in nature. Good with Cats?: She has met cats and did well. She does have a high prey drive, though, so would need a slow supervised introduction in her new home. Favorite toys: Balls & Benebones House trained?: Yes Crate Trained?: She does well if she is crated next to another dog Energy Level in house/Outside?: High energy & loves to run and play. Energy Requirements?: She can be energetic, but also chill. She will need a family that can help her release her energy but also snuggle on the couch with afterward. Travels well?: She doesn’t mind the car, and likes to look out the window when given the chance. Leash Trained?: Work in progress, but not a puller. (She was an outside dog, so she never had to be on a leash) She enjoys time spent with her people whether it be laying outside in the yard or snuggling up next to you on the couch. Basil is crate trained and is capable of spending the day hours inside of her kennel as long as she has another dog next to her and a bone to chew. Basil will be most successful in a home with a family, couple, or single person. She will need a family that can help her release energy by providing opportunities such as running/walking, puzzle toys, or agility-like activities. Basil isn’t a high-energy dog. She will do best on a tie out, or someone to watch her closely within a fenced-in yard. After playtime, you can find Basil snuggled up on the couch or laying on your pillow on the bed. Basil is potty trained, knows the command “sit” and is working on others in her foster home. She knows when playing outside and it’s time to go inside the command is “house” and she will scurry right in. Basil is a snuggle girl if you allow her to be. She didn’t have the chance to be loved to her full potential before coming to UU so she is soaking up every minute of it. Meet Brie! She is a 2-year-old Goldendoodle looking for a home. Brie loves other dogs and going for walks. Overall, she is active, friendly, and ready for a loving family. Story
ntroducing Nani (pronounced No Ne). This sweet girl is a 4 year old American pitbull terrier. She does well around dogs and we were told she does well around cats as well. Nani loves to snuggle and her foster family describes her as so well behaved. She is also potty trained and kennel trained as well. She knows commands including: sit, lay down, wait, stay and go potty. Nani was surrendered to us because the little people in her previous home did not respect her boundaries and she did not appreciate that. We were informed Nani did not initiate poor behavior and it was always a reaction to poor behavior made by the humans. Respecting a dog’s boundaries should be the rule NOT the exception for EVERY dog! Nani has shown ZERO acts of poor behavior in her foster home due to her humans respect her space! Nani can be a little fearful around strangers, especially men but with patience, she comes around. Her foster family describes her as just a sweet girl. Nani does have chicken and seasonal allergies which are controlled with avoidance of chicken products and daily medication and also luxating patellas (knee caps which pop out of place sometimes). The luxating patellas will just need to be monitored at this time. She also suffers joint pain, which she is on and will need to stay on daily glucosamine supplements.
