Story
Looking for a soul dog for the quiet adventures — forest bathing, weekend camping, and everything in between?Meet Max: Three Legs, One Big HeartHi, I’m Max, a 5 year old, 60 lb Husky who’s living proof that you don’t need four legs to live your best life.My story starts in Lebanon, where I was found with gunshot wounds so severe my leg had to be amputated. I was alone, in pain, and had been through more than any dog should ever endure. An incredible team of animal rescuers found me, refused to give up on me, and fought hard to get me every bit of care I needed - multiple surgeries, treatment for blood parasites, and so much more. That journey brought me all the way here, and I’ve never looked back.I lost one of my legs, but honestly? You’d barely know it. I hike, I explore, I roam — and I do it all at an easy, unhurried pace that makes every outing feel like a good idea. I’ve also been doing good off-leash lately, which makes adventures with me that much more fun.I’m independent, easygoing. I don’t require constant entertainment or attention. I’m happy just being with you, whether that’s trotting alongside you on a leisurely hike, joining you on a camping trip, and quietly hanging out beside you at home after my sniff walk. With people, I am pure sweetness. I love being petted, I’m super treat-motivated, and I’ll reward your patience with so much loyalty. I do best in a home with a yard where I can wander and sniff around. Apartment life may not be a good option for me.A note about mealtimes - I like my food to be mine. A home where dogs are separated during mealtimes and food or resources aren’t left lying around is exactly the kind of setup where I thrive. Simple management, no drama. If you’re someone who enjoys having an independent soul dog, loves getting out in the outdoors, and wants a one-of-a-kind adventure buddy, I think we’d make a pretty great team.Three legs. Zero limits. All heart. 🐾If you’d like to make me family, reach out to my rescue PawesomeBaby!———————————————We are looking for an active family who would enjoy getting out for walks at a slower pace. And a home with a fenced yard; no apartments. He’s adoptable in WA, BC and AK.For Alaska adoptions, we cover the transportation. You only have to pay adoption fees, and offer the loving forever family he can count on!Check out the Instagram story highlights at @PawesomeBaby for more pictures and videos. ———————————————Age: 4 yrs 9 monthsSex: Male, neutered Vaccination: current on core vaccines. Story
Meet Ella the Princess 👑 Hi, I’m Ella! I have the cutest floppy ears, blue eyes, and the kind of warmth that makes everyone feel like they’re my favorite person.I’m a 6-year-old, 50lb husky. My story doesn’t start easy. I was found as a malnourished stray who had lost her puppies. But you’d never know it from the way I show up every single day, because people make me the happiest girl alive.I am a certified people lover. From the moment I meet you, I’m all in with no fear, no hesitation, just pure joy. I love being close, being part of everything you do, and soaking up every bit of attention you give me. Family time is my favorite time.I’m friendly with dogs and can be on the dominant side. And speaking of adventures, I would absolutely thrive with an active family just like the huskies. Walking, hiking, camping, exploring, I am ready for all of it.I was cat tested once. I could possibly do well with a cat who isn’t scared of dogs and a human who’s experienced with slow cat introductions for dogs with prey drive. My dream home is one where I get to be the center of my people’s world, an active family who keeps their dog close, loves getting outside, and has plenty of room in their heart for a girl like me. I could be adopted as an only dog or with a fur sibling who doesn’t mind a sassy princess sister. If you like to make me family, reach out to my rescue PawesomeBaby!——————————————— She’s adoptable in WA, BC and AK.For Alaska adoptions, we cover the transportation. Story
Orvi (full name Orville) loves to be around people. As a 5 year old Husky Boxer mix he has many qualities. He can lay around all day or keep up with long walks and adventures. He can talk like a Husky if desired, but typically relies on gestures and expressions like a Boxer. After his primary owner became incapacitated, we are looking for a new home that can provide him the love he needs.

Story
Artemis is a stunning young husky/German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a bright future ahead of her. This beautiful girl has already captured us with her sweet nature and soulful eyes — and she’s more than ready to find the loving home she deserves. She is housebroken and food motivated. She wants to be close to humans and ADORES other dogs. She is the ultimate pack follower and truly loves being part of the family. She is shy at first but still has a strong desire to be close to the humans. She will do best in a home with another playful dog (or more than 1!) and will need a calm and patient leader who will help her understand what is expected of her. She is housebroken and sleeps in a crate at night. Husky experience preferred. Husky education required.

This one-eyed gentleman has been through more than any dog should, but he’s still hoping to find a quiet, patient home where he can finally feel safe. Frankie forms strong bonds with his people and is incredibly loyal once he trusts you. He enjoys staying active with games of fetch, running around the yard, and going on daily walks. After some exercise, he’s perfectly happy relaxing indoors and spending time with his family. Because of his past, Frankie needs a home that understands he may take a little time to warm up to new people. With patience and consistency, he shows his sweet and devoted personality. Frankie’s highlights: • Loyal and affectionate once bonded • Loves fetch, running, and daily walks • Great with kids • Enjoys outdoor time but also loves relaxing indoors • Needs a large, securely fenced yard Best home for Frankie: • No cats or chickens • Patient family willing to do slow, proper introductions to new people • A calm, stable environment where he can feel secure Frankie lost an eye earlier in life, but he hasn’t lost his desire for companionship. He’s simply looking for someone willing to meet him with patience and kindness. If you believe in second chances, Frankie might just be the loyal companion you’ve been looking for.
