FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Murdoch! Murdoch is a 1-year-old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This little guy is packed with personality and ready to bring nonstop joy to his future home! Murdoch is sweet, spunky, goofy, and full of silly charm. He’s truly Mr. Personality—a happy, social pup who loves meeting new people and making dog friends wherever he goes. His playful, bouncy energy makes him an absolute blast to be around. He does great with other dogs and would love to have a confident, playful canine companion in the home to match his energy and keep the fun going. Murdoch thrives on interaction and would do best in a home that enjoys taking their dog out and about—whether it’s walks, outings, or just being part of everyday adventures. With his goofy puppy energy and love for life, Murdoch is happiest when he’s included, socializing, and exploring the world with his people. He has not been tested with cats. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, outgoing, and entertaining companion who will keep you smiling and always ready for the next adventure, Murdoch is your guy! Murdock is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Hardy! Hardy is a 6-year-old, 18 lb Pug who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter, and he is every bit the classic, lovable pug you could hope for! Sweet, goofy, and endlessly charming, Hardy has a big personality packed into a small, squishy body. He loves being carried, soaking up attention from his people, and showing off his silly side. He’s bouncy, playful, and always ready to make you laugh ~ truly your typical happy, goofy pug! Hardy is great with other dogs and great with people, making him an easy addition to a social household. He’s also treat-motivated, which makes him eager to engage and easy to work with. He enjoys going on walks and little adventures and would love adopters who include him in their daily activities. Because Hardy is a flat-faced breed, he will do best in a home with brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed experience or adopters who understand his specific needs, including monitoring exercise, temperature, and overall health. Hardy is ready to bring laughs, cuddles, and plenty of pug charm to the right home ~ all he’s missing is his forever family! Hardy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Welcome Cinnamon to CCPAL Rescue. Cinnamon is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful brown color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is the biggest in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Cinnamon is somewhat laid back and there is one boy that is also more mellow. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day everday is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Cinnamon is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Delilahaffectionately known as Missy in her foster homeis a one-year-old, pocket-sized girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. After coming into rescue needing a little extra medical support, shes now feeling great and fully embracing life. She is incredibly sweet, very social with other dogs, and absolutely fearlesslikely thanks to her Chihuahua side. Missy is full of energy and loves to be part of whatever is happening, but she also has a softer side and is happy to snuggle up when its time to wind down. Shes a smart little dog who is already learning to sit and is eager to please. Shes still working on house training and reducing accidents, but shes making progress. Like many young dogs, she enjoys chewingespecially her Nyla-boneand will happily try to recruit fingers and arms into playtime if given the chance. Medically, shes in great shape and just wrapping up the final steps of her care. Shes finishing her last round of treatment for whipworms later this month, with a routine follow-up fecal test to confirm shes fully clearedsomething we expect her to breeze right through. Missy is playful, curious, and full of life. Shes the kind of dog who will keep you entertained, keep you on your toes, and then curl up next to you like shes been yours forever.
