Sweet, goofy, and endlessly charming, Hardy has a big personality packed into a small, squishy body. He loves being carried, soaking up attention from his people, and showing off his silly side. He’s bouncy, playful, and always ready to make you laugh ~ truly your typical happy, goofy pug! Hardy is great with other dogs and great with people, making him an easy addition to a social household. He’s also treat-motivated, which makes him eager to engage and easy to work with. He enjoys going on walks and little adventures and would love adopters who include him in their daily activities. If you’re looking for Mr. Personality, look no further ~ Milton is pure entertainment wrapped up in a sturdy little body! This goofy boy is as nutty as they come (in the best way). He’s silly, expressive, and guaranteed to keep you laughing with his antics. Milton is basically a lovable little bowling ball ~ solid, wiggly, and always ready to bring the fun. Beyond his comedic charm, Milton is incredibly sweet, cuddly, and loving. He thrives on attention and absolutely adores being around his people. He’s also great with other dogs and very social, making friends wherever he goes. Meet Minnie, a 2-year-old Pug mix weighing 27 pounds with the cutest little underbite and a beautiful white chest and collar that gives her a “queenly” look. She’s as sweet as she is adorable and fully believes she’s here to love you… and collect a few treats along the way. Minnie is a happy, playful girl with a medium to high energy level. She loves playing with her foster dog siblings and enjoys toys, especially antlers and squeaky toys. She’ll chase a ball here and there, but she’d much rather engage with her people or other dogs than nap the day away. She’s very alert and will pop up quickly if she hears something new, making her both entertaining and a great little watchdog. She is house trained, though she has had a few recent accidents that may be related to medication she’s currently on while recovering from heartworm treatment. Minnie is crate trained with a little encouragement, especially if a treat is involved, and she settles in nicely once inside. When left alone, she does well resting in her crate for 4 to 8 hours. Minnie is great with tweens and teens and would do well in a home with or without kids. She gets along well with other dogs, especially those in the 30 to 60 pound range, and enjoys having playmates. Cats and other animals are unknown at this time. She’s a smart girl who already knows sit and shake and is currently working on “come here,” “lay down,” and “get in your box.” On leash, Minnie is still learning and can be a bit of a zig-zagger who pulls, but with consistency and a little patience, she’ll continue to improve. She is very food motivated, which makes training easier and fun. Car rides can make Minnie a little nervous, though she has already started improving. For longer trips, she may benefit from some calming support, but she’s making great progress and gaining confidence. Minnie’s ideal home is simply one that will love her. Welcome Cinnamon to CCPAL Rescue. Cinnamon is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful brown color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is the biggest in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Cinnamon is somewhat laid back and there is one boy that is also more mellow. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day everday is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Cinnamon is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Otis is a 4-year-old pug who recently joined Evergreen Pug Rescue as an owner surrender. From the moment he arrived, it was clear this sweet boy has so much love to givebut he was also quietly carrying a lot of discomfort. During his veterinary exam, Otis was diagnosed with a Grade 4 luxating patella, the most severe form of kneecap dislocation. This means his kneecap is permanently out of place, causing significant pain and limiting his ability to move comfortably. Despite this, Otis has remained gentle, affectionate, and trustingeverything we love about this breed. And heres the best partOtis is truly the whole package. He is cat approved, dog friendly, and perfectly house trained. Hes the kind of dog who settles in quickly and just wants to be near his people. The good news: there is a path forward. Otis is scheduled for corrective surgery next week, which will stabilize his knee and give him the comfort and mobility he deserves. This is a major procedure, with an estimated cost of around $2,000, followed by a dedicated recovery period. Post-surgery, Otis will need: Strict crate rest for the first two weeks Leash-only activity for several additional weeks Close monitoring to ensure proper healing Because of this, we are hoping to find a forever home local to the Redmond area so we can continue to support his follow-up care every step of the way. Otis didnt choose this journeybut were committed to making sure his future is one filled with comfort, stability, and love.
