URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED: This handsome amazing family dog, Charlie, is being returned to us at no fault of his own. The family said that Charlie is super bored because everyone is gone all day for work and when they get home from work, they have to take care of their kids. Subsequently, poor Charlie gets left out and ignored. It makes us so sad. Charlie deserves to have an amazing family that wants to spend all of their time with him, take him on walks, play with him, and snuggle with him on the couch. He deserves better!! He is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. He LOVES all people!! He is super gentle and patient with kids. He could do well with having a doggy sibling/friend so he would need to do a proper introduction first. He successfully completed his 6-week board & train program in July 2020. He did great at training! Charlie is housebroken and crate trained but needs an active family that likes to go on walks and play with him. He's a lap dog and loves cuddles with his family. Reeds, a 1 year old Aussie Mix. He’s an amazing companion who loves to be outdoors. Loves hiking, dog parks, beaches, and being right beside you. He’s very affectionate and loves to love. The unfortunate thing is I no longer have the time to dedicate to him. I live alone and am busy working crazy hours. I do love him, but he’d be best suited for a family or couple that can keep eyes on him. He’d also do well in a home that has another dog to help with some issues (i.e boredom). He does suffer from separation anxiety, and can become destructive if left alone for long periods of time. Given his breed he can also become bored rather easily which is why someone who’s willing to dedicate time to him would be ideal. He is fixed, potty trained, crate trained, knows sit, paw, and come/here. He is moderate to high energy. And sheds frequently. Reed is more a dog’s, dog, than a human dog, but is still affectionate towards his owner(s), and those he trusts.

COH Sprinkles is a 4 month old female Australian Shepherd and Flat Coated Retriever Mix found as a stray in the City of Hawthorne. This pretty girl was scooped up and brought to Lovejoy. She’s a great puppy who is healthy and playful and great with kids, dogs, and cats. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood.
