Story

I got Max when he was a 5 month old pup. He seemed a bit shy at first, but warmed up to us after some treats. After bringing him home, I noticed within a week that he did not take kindly to strangers. He would need to warm up to everyone he meets, and would fearfully bite any stranger trying to pet him. Fast forward to today, he is now a 14-month-old beautiful looking dog. He is very smart and energetic, and responds well to his commands (sit, stay, come) and is protective and loving to his family, but his fear aggression toward strangers is still very present. He has bitten a couple people and I am fearful of him biting more. One thing to note, however, is that he LOVES other dogs and can play with them all day. Unfortunately, he just has this biting problem that I can't seem to control, and it lowers my confidence as his owner. As much as I love Max, I decided it is best to rehome him to someone who can give him what he needs.

Lula is a sweet, gentle dog and has a friendly, curious personality. She is so cuddly, loving and so smart. She is eager to please and an absolute joy. She becomes very attached and close to her “person” but she is also friendly with other dogs and would likely do well in a household with another friendly, calm dog. She is a quick learner and easy to train with positive reinforcement. She’d be best suited for a person who works from home since she is a “velcro” dog. She is crate trained and housebroken and very chill. She mostly likes to sleep and cuddle during the day but loves going on her morning and evening walk. An experienced adopter would be ideal since she is a little shy around new people and will need someone patient to help her adjust to her new home.

Cher is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix. She is very sweet and loving. She loves to be around other dogs and is friendly with people. She can be a bit shy in a new environment but after you get to know her she is a very outgoing dog. Cher is medium energy and enjoys a good walk.
