URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED: This handsome amazing family dog, Charlie, is being returned to us at no fault of his own. The family said that Charlie is super bored because everyone is gone all day for work and when they get home from work, they have to take care of their kids. Subsequently, poor Charlie gets left out and ignored. It makes us so sad. Charlie deserves to have an amazing family that wants to spend all of their time with him, take him on walks, play with him, and snuggle with him on the couch. He deserves better!! He is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. He LOVES all people!! He is super gentle and patient with kids. He could do well with having a doggy sibling/friend so he would need to do a proper introduction first. He successfully completed his 6-week board & train program in July 2020. He did great at training! Charlie is housebroken and crate trained but needs an active family that likes to go on walks and play with him. He's a lap dog and loves cuddles with his family. Hey there, I'm COH Tarzan, a spirited 6 and 1/2 month old male Australian Shepard and Border Collie Mix, and I've got quite the adventure to share. My journey kicked off in Hawthorne alongside my sister COH Jane. People say I'm a bundle of energy and my striking coat and intelligent eyes tend to turn heads wherever I go. Now, I'm on the lookout for that perfect home where I can share my playful spirit and affectionate nature. Could your home be the one that Tarzan swings into with excitement? I'm ready to bring boundless joy and love to your family. Come by and meet me and all my other friends at Lovejoy and see if we have a connection. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. Even though she was facing the risk of euthanasia since she wasn’t used to being around humans, she's getting better now thanks to her foster family. Thanks to her foster who was understanding and patient for Jinhee, she now plays with people she trusts! Her days are being filled with more and more compliments. If you understand and wait for her, you will be able to see Jinhee’s ever growing love! You need to approach her carefully because she can be surprised or uncomfortable with people who scream, or makes large gestures or actions. *Socialization -Dogs: She feels uncomfortable with dogs who approach her too actively, but she greets well with other calm dogs. She prefers to take a stroll around with her foster rather than running around with other dogs. -Cats: She is not interested in cats she meets during walks. * Separation anxiety: Mild anxiety * Toilet training: Uses a pee pad well! She might confuse the blanket for a pee pad in unfamiliar places. * Bark: She doesn't bark a lot. She sometimes barks a little at the digital door lock's noise. * Bathing: she doesn't like taking a bath, but is patient. * She is generally calm and quiet but she gets active indoors playing with her foster!
