Meet Doodle! Doodle is a 7-year-old mini-Australian shepherd. He is a super smart, funny and loving dog but he is not for the first-time dog owner. True to his breed, he has a very high herding instinct and is protective of his home. He is also very obedient, knows all his commands, is potty-trained, crate trained, and absolutely can't get enough attention from his person. He requires a lot of exercise (just a walk isn't enough), so he'll need an active owner who will run with him, hike with him, and take him on adventures. Doodle would do great in agility or herding activities. He can be reactive with larger dogs so we are looking for a home without a resident dog over 20 lbs. but he does get along well with small dogs and cats (although he does like to herd them when he gets excited). In his foster home, Doodle lives with four other dogs and two cats. He does really well with the established boundaries in his foster home and flourishes when he knows the rules and what's expected of him. In addition to regular exercise, his foster mom gives him puzzles, interactive toys and lick mats that help to keep him mentally stimulated. He is a great guard dog and very protective so he can be reactive to visitors in his home. Doodle is also selective with who he likes and tends to favor women over men so introductions to new people must be done slowly and with care. Doodle is a medium size dog, weighing in at 35 lbs., is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He is an amazing guy and we know his perfect home is out there. Doodle is looking for a quite home with no children where he would prefer to be the only dog. He needs an owner who has owned a herding breed before and is up for the challenge of owning a high energy, intelligent dog. Is it you?

She just has something that makes people gravitate to her! Grace’s favorite activities are sunbathing and laying by your feet while you cook dinner. She is great at taste testing! Grace barley escaped euthanasia at Downey Shelter. She is looking for a family that will treat her as their own and cherish her forever. Aussie is a beautiful 3 year-old Australian Shephard that I have had since he was a puppy. He has a ton of energy and would make an amazing companion to a person or persons with no kids. He does not bite, but he does get a little freightened and can bark in close quarters with little kids. He's a great walker. When home he is very chill as long as he has had ample opportunity to walk and get his energy out. He's been treated super well and has no trauma. Does great on long walks, just barks at skateboarders. Has never bitten anybody. Does well with other dogs. We have a kid now and parenting a kiddo and keeping up with Aussie io tsuj so much to bear. So we are looking for another loving home for Aussie!

Meet Ryong🩵 He came into Korean city shelter in winter. He was very timid, but he improved a lot through a training program. He is now adapting to his new foster family! He doesn’t like to be touched because of his timid personality. He lowers his tail and backs up. These days, he’s slowly opening his heart! He is a good-natured boy who approaches dog friends he meets while taking a walk in a gentle manner, and asks to play with them after sniffing each other. In particular, he is a well-mannered dog that approaches small puppies more cautiously! He is doing really well with his foster dog friend. But he is fearful of too reactive or bigger dogs. He’s not particularly interested in cats. * Separation Anxiety: None. There's no barking or yelling. * Potty training: He prefers outdoor potty. No marking behavior indoors, and goes well on the pad. * Energy level (1-10): lv.3~4 * He loves walks! He walks by your side. He’s been showing a bit of pulling so currently training with foster family. * He doesn’t have a big appetite. He only likes treats and not kibble but he’s working on it! * He can be a bit stubborn. * He doesn’t really like touching his feet😢 His front feet are more sensitive than his back. Meet a timid lady Jinhee🩷 Jinhee was abandoned by a foreign worker. She used to hide in fear just from the sight of people’s hands. Even though she was facing the risk of euthanasia since she wasn’t used to being around humans, she's getting better now thanks to her foster family. Thanks to her foster who was understanding and patient for Jinhee, she now plays with people she trusts! Her days are being filled with more and more compliments. If you understand and wait for her, you will be able to see Jinhee’s ever growing love! You need to approach her carefully because she can be surprised or uncomfortable with people who scream, or makes large gestures or actions. *Socialization -Dogs: She feels uncomfortable with dogs who approach her too actively, but she greets well with other calm dogs. She prefers to take a stroll around with her foster rather than running around with other dogs. -Cats: She is not interested in cats she meets during walks. * Separation anxiety: Mild anxiety * Toilet training: Uses a pee pad well! She might confuse the blanket for a pee pad in unfamiliar places. * Bark: She doesn't bark a lot.
