FOSTER CARE! Hi there! My name is Beanie and I'm a 2 year old, neutered male Chihuahua mix that currently weighs about 13lbs. I'm a timid sweetheart that enjoys the company of humans but takes a little bit of time to warm up. If you have patience and treats, we'll be best friends in no time! I'm still working on my social skills so I'd like to be the only dog in the household, and no cats please. I may be small, but I'm all the pup you need! I'm hoping for a family that will spoil me and teach me about the world. If you have experience with shy boys like me, that's a plus! Due to my shyness, I'd do best without young children at home. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
