Estimated DOB: 12/22/2025 Estimated Adult Weight: 1020 lbs Breed: Chihuahua/Mix Adoption Donation: $700 Available for foster/ foster to adopt: March 3 Approx Neuter Date (adoptions finalized): after 3/17/2026 Meet Chris Cester! Chris may be the rhythm section, but he's still a boss! Named after the powerhouse drummer of Jet, this little guy might be small, but make no mistake he is running this tour. He is the one who's making sure everything is up to his standards and running smoothly- and he's got something to say about it if anyone isn't carrying their weight in the band! Hes not bossy in a mean way, just decisive. He's the kind of puppy who doesnt wait for life to happen. He makes it happen. Chris is the confident one. The Last Chance energy. The one who walks into a room like he already owns it- because in his mind, he does. But he is still a puppy and needs plenty of guidance from his family- and maybe even some other artists who have been in the biz for a while to mentor with. He needs a manager that understands his confident personality and helps him grow without getting too full of himself. He is adorable and he knows it, so he needs structure, socialization, training- and someone who gets leadership is not optional. But he doesn't need dominance- just clear direction! He's finding his way around the tour bus, but hasn't spent time alone yet- and he's still learning the potty training process, so pack some puppy pads for the time being. Eventually that suitcase will be full of toys and treats, but like any puppy, he's still dependent on your consistency. Hes responsive which means training will be fun and rewarding- you just have to show up consistently and keep his schedule running smoothly. He's not all work and no play though- he's asked for both daily play and lap time on his rider. He's willing to consider a partner for some duets, but hes not afraid to be the star of the show either. Every great band needs a rhythm section- and what family wouldn't want a little dog who brings confidence, spark, and a little swagger to the home? Are you ready for the front row to this tour? Before adoption, puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea-treated, and dewormed. They receive vaccination boosters in our care, but adopters will need to complete the remaining vaccine schedule. Your adoption donation covers vet care, transport, and general costs. All Motley Zoo dogs go home with a leash, Martingale collar, and a "Tour Gear Bag" full of goodies to start your journey together! Story
Rehoming with a full heart… I will be moving around for work, so I'm looking for the best home for my sweetest boy, Whiskey. He was born Feb 2, 2019 (7 years old), and I’ve had him since he was a puppy. He’s a true people dog, loves kids, and forms his strongest bonds with his person… a full-time cuddle bug and the kind of companion who wants to be close and part of your everyday routine. He’s potty trained, fully vaccinated, and gets his teeth brushed daily. He’s done great with other dogs and cats when visiting family and friends, but he’s happiest being someone’s little shadow. We’re homebodies, so he has a chill, low-energy, nappy vibe while I work from home, but he also loves walks, playtime, and lakeside strolls… truly the best of both worlds. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate buddy who will sleep in with you, cuddle hard, and happily be your walking partner, please message me. I’ll be very thoughtful about placement and want him safe, adored, and deeply loved.

Story
Shy little one! Meet Maria! Sweet Maria is looking for a special forever home and that just might be you! She’s an adorable 7-pound Chihuahua with a cheerful and upbeat personality. She’s sure to make you laugh and smile! While Maria is a sweetheart, it's important to note that she has a fear of being touched. Despite her gentle nature, Maria struggles with being handled and avoids physical contact. It's something that her foster family has been working on. That said, Maria has recently gone blind out of the blue, so that changes her world quite a bit. One interesting outcome is that she's a little less shy, but we will see how that play out. One of Maria's favorite pastimes is playing with other small dogs, exploring in the yard and sunbathing. When she's not busy playing, Maria chills and hangs out near her people. (She will need a home with a small-dog-proof fence). She would do well in a home with one or more friendly, playful small dogs and one that’s pretty low-key without a lot of people coming in and out. If you already have snuggly pets, Maria’s presence won’t change that. No fighting for your lap! Be a true hero and give this sweet, playful girl her forever home. If you're looking for a small companion with a big heart, consider welcoming Maria into your home! Story
Animal Information:  Nova is a sweet 25-pound Chihuahua mix who found herself at risk in Stanislaus Modesto. Our shelter partners reached out to advocate for this little lady, and after watching her videos, we knew we had to help. Nova is estimated to be about 3 years old and is friendly with other dogs and people. She can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long before she’s asking for affection. Foster Profile:  Nova is the kind of dog who will steal your heart the second she leans into you.  She’s incredibly affectionate, easily bonds with new people, and lives for snuggles. She’s smart, eager to learn, and absolutely loves toys, training, walks, and car rides. Out exploring the world, she truly shines. Nova is looking for a dog experienced, adult only household. She experiences some separation anxiety, and will do best in a single-family home with a securely fenced yard. Apartment living or situations where she would need to be left alone frequently would be difficult for her. Nova is currently working through some resource guarding and is making good progress, but will need an experienced, committed owner who can continue that training and provide clear, consistent guidance. Nova can be selective with other dogs and is not reliant on them, so she may do best as an only dog or with a well-matched, balanced companion. She is great with cats! Nova is a fun little adventure companion who is going to be a once in a lifetime friend for one lucky family.   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Stanislaus in Modesto. She will be transferred via Wiggle Butts, arriving to foster care on  03/08/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.April 23, 2026, 5:49 pm
