Story
Meet Harley! This chubby little girl is the most adorable girl you will ever meet. She likes spending time with you, she loves playing with the ball but she prefers time by your side more. When I say she's really adorable, it's because she is! She plays with other dogs, small, medium or large, she lives with cats although sometimes she usually runs after them to play (And cats that are not used to dogs don't like that) Potty trained with potty pads, crate trained, and good with adults and children. With strangers she is usually sociable, she is a very curious, loyal dog, and ready to play with you and receive cuddles at all times. She loves to give you kisses on the face, give you her paw to play with and she will always receive you from work with a huge smile. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
HE WAS FOUND WITH TWO PUPPIES UNDER A HIGHWAY BRIDGE. UNFORTUNATELY, ONE OF THEM TESTED POSITIVE FOR DISTEMPER AND, BECAUSE THE DISEASE WAS ALREADY VERY ADVANCED, HE DIED A FEW DAYS AFTER STARTING HIS TREATMENT. ELMER AND THE OTHER PUPPY, TITAN, WERE PLACED IN QUARANTINE AS A PREVENTIVE MEASURE. HOWEVER, ONE DAY AFTER THE END OF QUARANTINE, TITAN SHOWED DISTEMPOR SYMPTOMS AND, LIKE THE FIRST PUPPY, DIED DESPITE RECEIVING TREATMENT. THIS WAS HOW ELMER BECAME THE ONLY SURVIVOR OF THIS RESCUE. TODAY ELMER IS COMPLETELY HEALTHY AND WITHOUT ANY KIND OF SEQUEL AND IS LOOKING FOR A LOVING FAMILY THAT WILL CONSENT HIM. ELMER IS A FAITHFUL COMPANION WHO LOVES TO BE HUGGED AND Cuddled. HE WILL LOVE TO TAKE WALKS AND WALKS WITH YOU. IT IS PLAYFUL AND FRIENDLY, WHICH MAKES IT IDEAL TO BE WITH CHILDREN AND LITTLE ONES. HE LIKES TO EXPLORE, DISCOVER NEW THINGS, MEET PEOPLE AND ABOVE ALL PLAY.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Lil Bit! Lil Bit is a 1-year-old, 8 lb Spaniel/Chihuahua mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter after her owner could no longer care for her. She’s currently thriving in foster care and showing off her big personality in a tiny package! Lil Bit is happy-go-lucky, friendly, and outgoing. She’s a confident, spunky little girl who loves to play and keep things fun. She’s goofy, full of life, and always ready to be part of whatever you’re doing! She does great with other dogs and absolutely loves having playmates. We are looking for a home with another similar-sized dog—preferably a playful male—to help keep her socialized and give her a buddy to romp around with. Lil Bit enjoys getting out and doing things with her people, whether it’s walks, outings, or just tagging along on adventures. She’s continuing to work on her house training and will need a home committed to helping her stay on track. She also has a deformed foot, but it doesn’t slow her down or stop her from living life to the fullest—she doesn’t let it get in the way of having fun! Lil Bit is looking for an active, engaging home that will embrace her playful spirit, continue her training, and include her in daily life. She would do best in a home without cats. If you’re looking for a confident, fun-loving little companion with tons of personality, Lil Bit might just be your perfect match! Lil Bit is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Girl Chi fans, this is your lucky day: Meet Darcy, an adorable 3 year old Chihuahua who is curious, cuddly, and perfectly housetrained. She's the perfect little 12 lb package just waiting for you! Darcy was rescued as a stray in California and was transported up to Seattle in the search for a new home. She easily settled into her foster home— already housetrained, stair-savvy, and completely at home indoors. She gets along great with her two foster brothers (both small dogs), but she would also be fine as an only dog as long as she has plenty of opportunities to socialize (she enjoys the dog park). Darcy has two favorite things: Going for a walk. She walks on leash like a dream! Many dogs will zigzag on leash, but she walks straight as an arrow. She is very used to being on a leash, and is very happy to go out a couple times a day if she can. When out on walks, Darcy can be startled by loud noises, such as garbage trucks, so she's looking for a quieter home environment. She would do best in a standalone house outside of the city, where she can enjoy a more peaceful setting. Because of her sensitivity to noise, apartment or condo living would not be a good fit. Playtime is one of Darcy's favorite things. Darcy ADORES squeaky stuffy toys. Her favorite by far is the Lambchop stuffy, followed by squirrel stuffies, chipmunk stuffies, and the giant Lambchop stuffy. She enjoys nose work puzzles as well. She keeps herself quite content with her family of stuffies. She especially loves tug-of-war and is often ready to start a game as soon as you wake up! She'll thrive with an adopter who enjoys interactive play and can help keep both her body and mind engaged. Darcy is a curious, adventurous girl who loves to explore! Because she's clever and can easily slip out an open door, she'll need an adopter who is attentive and committed to keeping her safe. A securely fenced yard is a must for this girl. Any chihuahua aficionado knows the girl chis are often bossy, and Darcy will Girl Boss with the best of them. She challenged her foster brothers until they told her in dog language to back off (you know, the usual jockeying-for-position that happens when a new dog joins the fray). After that, they’ve been getting along great, cuddling with each other and playing fetch and tug-of-war with more stuffies. Unlike many dogs, Darcy prefers not to sleep in bed with her humans - she is very happy to cuddle up under a cozy blanket in the living room. We suspect that's because she can be closer to her stuffies. :) Darcy is available for immediate adoption - please submit an application if interested in this absolute sweetheart (but only if you're okay with squeaky toys! lol) Darcy is updated on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Winnie! She is a 1-year-old, 11 lb, Chihuahua mix. She is a quiet, sensitive little girl who’s still learning that the world can be a safe place. New environments and people make her nervous, so at first she may hide and keep her distance. With time, patience, and a calm routine, she slowly begin to feel more secure and let her sweet personality show. Winnie is very well-behaved in the home and does best in a calm, predictable environment. She will need time to build trust and will thrive with an adopter who understands shy dogs and is willing to go at her pace. Winnie will need a quiet, adult-only home with: • No kids • No apartments/busy city areas • A house with a securely fenced yard She is a flight risk, and if she gets loose, she will not come back on her own — safety is extremely important for her. She will need a patient, experienced adopter who is willing to work with her, give her space when she needs it, and celebrate the small wins. She’s not a dog who will immediately run up for affection — but for the right person, she’ll be incredibly rewarding. She is good with other dogs and would love another confident dog in the home to give her confidence. Winnie may be shy, but she is gentle, well-mannered, and deserving of a safe, loving home where she can finally relax and feel secure. With patience and consistency, she has the potential to truly blossom. Winnie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Woody! Woody is a 2-year-old, 17 lb Chihuahua mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. This little guy is packed with personality and looking for a home that will appreciate his confident, sassy charm! Woody is sweet, active, and loves getting out to explore the world with his people. He’d make a fantastic little adventure buddy for someone who enjoys walks, outings, and having a loyal sidekick by their side. He does well with other dogs, though he can be a bit bossy at times—both with dogs and people. Woody definitely knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to show his personality! Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Jasmine! Jasmine is a 1.5-year-old, 21 lb Chihuahua/Whippet mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This fun-sized girl is packed with personality and affection! Jasmine is sweet, social, playful, and loves being with her people. In foster care, she has continued to show what a friendly, outgoing dog she is. She recently attended a gathering with ten people and loved every minute of it, happily soaking up all the attention and making new friends. If youre looking for a dog that genuinely enjoys being around people, Jasmine is your girl. Shes also smart, eager to learn, and eager to please. Jasmine has been making great progress with training, including improving her recall and basic commands. She is mostly house-trained and has been doing well overall in foster care. Jasmine loves other dogs and has shown that having a canine companion greatly benefits her. She would do best in a home with another younger, playful, well-adjusted dog who can keep up with her energy level and provide companionship. Having another dog around helps her feel more confident and comfortable. One area Jasmine is still working on is separation anxiety. She forms strong bonds with her people and doesn't enjoy being left alone. Because of this, she is looking for a home where her people are home often, can take her along on adventures, or have a schedule that minimizes long periods of alone time. A canine companion has proven to be especially helpful in helping her feel secure. Due to her vocal nature when left alone, Jasmine is not a good fit for apartments, condos, or shared-wall living situations. She is looking for a standalone home where she can continue working on her confidence and separation anxiety without worrying about close neighbors. Jasmine is an active, happy young dog who would love an outgoing lifestyle filled with walks, adventures, playtime, training, and plenty of opportunities to be included in her family's daily life. She has so much love to give and will thrive with adopters who are committed to helping her continue growing into her best self. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, social companion who wants to be part of all of life's adventures, Jasmine may be the perfect addition to your family! Jasmine is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.
