Story
Meet Mollie! Mollie is a petite 10-lb chihuahua mix (we think), about 4 years old, with a gentle soul and a big love for cozy living. If there’s a soft blanket, sunny corner, or snuggly spot in the house, you can bet Mollie will find it and turn it into the perfect nap nest. Mollie is fully potty trained, curious about the world, and quickly learning the ropes on leash. She enjoys leisurely strolls around the neighborhood and takes it all in at her own sweet pace. At home, her favorite hobbies include making blanket forts, taking the coziest naps imaginable, and giving lots (and lots) of kisses. Mollie is incredibly sweet and loving. She gets along well with other dogs and would be happy as an only pup or with a doggy sibling. One of her most endearing quirks? When she gets really excited, Mollie does an adorable little somersault or barrel roll. It’s hilarious and guaranteed to keep her people smiling. Mollie does best with a bit of extra reassurance and TLC, and in return she gives endless affection and devotion. She’s ready to find a calm, loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and curled up right next to her favorite humans. Mollie will be vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Whimsy! Little Whimsy is adorable! She is tiny with big ears and the sweetest little personality.  Whimsy is just 5 months old and around 8 lbs. She will remain small. She is a very affectionate pup and likes to be with her people all the time. She is still learning to build some confidence when she needs to be alone for a little while. This will need some work. Whimsy is great with other dogs and will do best with a little dog friend in the home. She is nervous with new people and being with a dog friend can really help her build confidence. She is good with cats too. We would like to see Whimsy in a home with older kids (over 8) only. She is small and fragile and a little timid around kids at times.  Whimsy is vaccinated and microchipped. She will be spayed at our cost between 8-12 months. her adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Meet Neelah! This sweet girl is around 4 years old and 11 lbs. Neelah is a darling girl, very affectionate and overall a greta girl. Neelah is easy-going in the home and friendly with everyone. She likes other dogs and can live with a dog friend or be an only dog. We have not seen her with cats.  Neelah likes children and will do best with kids over 6 years old. She loves a nice walk and some cuddle time after. A secure fenced yard is best for her, as she still needs the occasional potty break reminder. She is getting better at letting people know she needs to go. Neelah is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped. Her adoption fee is $495 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Meet Cate! Cate is a sweet Chi mix who is loving and fun to have around.  Cate has done well living in an adult only foster home with a middle aged Jindo as a calm, quiet companion.  She does well on a leash and enjoys investigating as she goes on walks.  Cate is eager to please and loves to cuddle with her person on a chair or sofa.  She is also happy to hang out on her bed in her fosters office with her favorite teddy during working hours.  Cate is initially wary of new people and slow, gentle introductions are advised.  She rarely barks and only as a protective response to a visitor at the door, or new human or canine encounter on walks.  Cate responds well to voice commands and is trainable. She is also food motivated.   Because of her small size and fear of quick or noisy movements, Cate would do well in a calm, adult only household, especially one with another dog who can teach her the “rules of the house” and participate in appropriate non-aggressive play.  Cate is happy to cuddle with other pets if they are gentle and receptive.  Cate is a curious girl and likes to go for walks. She needs this regular exercise. She does have an interest in squirrels and other furry animals so she can't live in a home with cats. Older kids are best for her (over 10). Cate is house trained and sleeps in her kennel at night with her favorite blanket and toy for company.  She will alert by scratching on the sides when she needs to go potty in the middle of the night.  She has not been left in her kennel for long periods during the day during her initial stay with her foster as her potty needs are a little unpredictable at this stage of her foster care. Cate will be vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450   We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Meet Bubbly! Sweet Bubbly and her siblings are so adorable! They are little Chihuahua/Dachshund mixes (we think) and will remain quite small as adults.  Little Bubbly is a bit timid at first but is doing great in her foster home. She adores following her foster around the house and LOVES all toys especially ones that squeak!  She gets along great with her two larger foster brothers and loves to play with them. She is still a pup so she is working on potty training and basic commands - she sleeps through the night and is on a great play/napping schedule during the day! She is the goofiest pup and has her fosters constantly laughing at her zoomies, silly leaps and spunky personality. Once she is done playing she loves to snuggle up with her people under the blankets! We know whoever adopts her will be just as in love as they are!  Bubbly will do best in a home with another dog to pal around with. Kids over 8.  She has received her first puppy vaccines and is chipped. She will be spayed between 8-12 months at our cost. Her adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
