Story
Meet Blue! This one-year-old Chihuahua/Min Pin mix may be small, but he has a big heart just waiting for the right person to help it shine. When he first meets new people, he can be very timid and unsure, and touch can feel a little scary to him at first. He needs a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to feel safe and build trust at his own pace. Once he warms up, his true personality blossoms. He becomes an incredibly sweet little lovebug who adores curling up in a lap for scratches and affection. He also enjoys playing with other dogs, especially ones his size. He absolutely loves going out for walks. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, but a home with young children would likely be too busy and overwhelming for him. He would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a single person or a couple who can offer consistency, patience, and lots of love. If you’re looking for a gentle, devoted companion and are willing to give a shy dog the time he needs to come out of his shell, this sweet boy could become your most loyal friend. Blue is being fostered in Salem, OR and available for meet and greets with approved applicants before adoption.  Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. If needed, our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We can book your new baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then please fill out an adoption application found at SpringBranchRescue.org.  ##2658971##
