Story
Meatball is a super neat dude! he is an 11 month old male Dogo Argentino. Meatball has a very genuine temperment, he is a major lover. Not only that, he can add an 8 week board to his resume. He is crate trained, house trained and has advanced training under his belt. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. he would do best in a house that is more active or has a fenced backyard , because he is a young dog and the dogo breed is an active one. We do not adopt these breeds to homes with dogs of the same sex and we feel that Meatball would be his happiest self in a home with a larger female dog or by himself. He is great with kids and adults alike! all applicants must apply using our adoption application found on our website at www.westcoastcanecorsorescue.org

Story
Available for Adoption Apply for her here-https://linktr.ee/wcccr Jewel and her sister Sable were surrendered to us by a vet after their owner demanded that the vet euthanize them for being " Aggressive". That owner had brought home 2 female puppies and immediately put them with 2 larger adult female pit-bulls, and when there were problems, it was the fault of the 5 month old Cane Corso obviously and they needed to be PTS. Well, the vet and her husband knew how ridiculous this was and took them home with their family and surely, the family fell in love with Sable and adopted her. I had Jewel, who was said to be more shy, transported up to me so I could work with her. As it turns out, sure, shes a tad shy, but mostly, she's a kind hearted little girl who just needed to be in the right environment with people who understand her. She was a bit nervous on our car ride home, but as soon as we landed, her and I became friends, she let me handle her , touch her and take her on a walk. I was surprised to see that she was eager to walk on a leash, visit with Evie and check things out. So here is Jewel, she is 5 months old, sweet sweet sweet girl with fire eyes! She is a great dog and I'm so excited for her to find her perfect home!!

Apply for Waldo! https://linktr.ee/wcccr Don't forget that we have an honorary Cane Corso here- Mr. Waldo- with us in Smartsville CA. Waldo is a 7 month old male St. Bernardoodle. That's right, He is a Saint Bernard/ Labradoodle Cross and I have to say, he is AWESOME and I love him!!! It has been really fun having him here because he gets along with everyone and everything no problem. He hangs with the Girl Corso, and Homer- our older cleft baby. He goes a few days a week and gets socialization with Lauren at @pawsitivepalsdogtraining , where he has also been evaluated as a dog who can do service work! it has been really really slow around these parts and our dogs, especially Waldo, havent been getting the attention they deserve! so we need YOU to make sure he gets seen so he can find his home!!! if You're interested in Waldo, please apply!!

Story
Santino is a newborn baby who was born with a cleft lip and pallet. Santino was surrendered to us by an elderly couple who had taken in a female cane corso who they were unaware was pregnant. She had one little baby in there so her pregnancy went unnoticed yet resulted in baby Santino. They didnt know how to treat and didnt have the income to support his care, so he was surrendered to us. Cleft Pup Brigade is performing their magic and tube feeding him! Santino will not be adoptable until atleast 10 weeks old, but if you are interested in bringing this little miracle into your life, please feel free to apply for him! https://linktr.ee/wcccr?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR3VIs1kcOdBETTGs-wb9gexm-gcu2T0Ma5cZLfX-ZWlCIJSYHP1joG2pho_aem_AXGdYXFrJJ-qcYJOvnIQKzGEj3VwBj1hHQWw7jIPR08buoolzxKEAgStPUJ5MiT8-EjLdnc5dFqa1zpJafRIrcED

Story
Keedah is a 5 year old Cane Corso female who was raised with her family, but as we're seeing a lot lately, had to make big changes that didn't include her. This world is changing fast right now and many families have to make hard decisions. Keedah really likes kids and she misses having a family of her own. She is 5 years old and is located at our central coast location of California. She is people friendly, crate trained and does fine with medium to large males. She is fabulous on a leash and in a home setting. Won't some one be Keedah's new family? . Yes. We do out of state adoptions. And no, I don't know how she does with cats. https://form.jotform.com/220116693665155
