Story
Vegas and Safari are a bonded pair. They've spent their whole lives playing, sleeping and eating together. So, ideally, they should be adopted together.   They have zero history of biting/aggression, And play well/safely with humans (including babies) and other dogs. Strong prey drive, however—they do love to chase cats, squirrels, skunks, etc.   House-trained, good on-leash (they pull at first, but calm down quickly), And very high-energy.Great for somebody who enjoys hiking frequently.   Both are healthy, not spayed, and they eat mostly kibble (Costco brand Lamb is their favorite).   KEY INFO ABOUT EACH DOG:1. VEGAS Age: 4 years (born ~April 2021) Breed: Unknown, but I suspect German Shepherd / Rottweiler mix Weight: ~60lbs Temperament: Loyal (strong recall, easy to take on off-leash hikes) Protective (initially barks at strangers/intruders but warms up to people quickly) Athletic (loves to play fetch for hours, especially with those orange Chuck-It balls) Strong chewer (goes through the toughest of bones with remarkable efficiency) Anxious when bored (can get whiny/fidgety) 2. SAFARI Age: 3 years (born ~April 2022) Breed: Husky/Malamute Weight: ~50lbs (she was the runt of the litter, I call her a mini-husky) Temperament: VERY friendly (instantly loves every human & dog she meets, great with kids) Playful (likes to wrestle and chase, but not really into fetch) Adventurous (can be a bit of an escape artist, not good off-leash) Mischievous when bored (she will chew up your belongings if left unattended too long) ***THIS IS A COURTESY POST THESE DOGS ARE NOT AT ANIMAL SERVICES*** If you are interested in meeting these dogs please contact Connor at (925) 639-0094 or by email irias.connor@gmail.com January 21, 2026, 6:48 pm

Hydrangeaâ&#194&#128&#194&#148elegant and sweet, just like the flower she's named after. She's very polite and easy to handle, shows no signs of resource guarding or aggression, and is treat- and toy-motivated.On her last outing, she eagerly hopped into the car and enjoyed the rideâ&#194&#128&#194&#148no whining or pacing. At the volunteer's home, she was mellow and enjoyed napping. She also kept herself entertained with toys. She was a little nervous meeting a tall man, but warmed up when he offered her a toy.She earned a 10 out of 10 for being a good girl!Hydrangea will make a great office buddy and a lovely companion. To make an appointment to meet this lovely flower, please go to yoloshelter.org/adopt.January 21, 2026, 6:48 pm

She is currently with her owner in Vacaville, CA, and all meet-and-greets will be arranged directly with the owner. Contact Information For questions or to meet Lily, please contact her owner directly: Owner: Noel  Phone: (707) 637-6138 Email: johnstonoel167@gmail.com About Lily Breed: Shar Pei / Australian Shepherd mix Age: 4 years Color: Brindle Gender: Female (spayed) Vaccines: Up to date Location: Vacaville, CA Reason for Rehoming: Emergency relocation and cannot take her Lily was originally rescued off the side of a freeway and has been with her owner ever since. She is now in need of a safe home due to sudden housing instability. Her owner loves her deeply but is unable to bring her to the new location. &#226&#156&#168 Personality & Behavior Friendly with children Has lived with dogs and kids Initially barks at new visitors, but once she meets them, she settles and relaxes If visitors have food, she’ll politely lay down nearby Potty trained Crate trained Allows people to take food and toys No history of biting Lily is affectionate, loyal, and easygoing once she warms up. Ideal Home Lily would do well with a family or individual who can give her a stable environment and continue the care she’s used to. Because she has lived both indoors and outdoors, she can adapt easily, but she loves being near her people. A home with yard access or daily walks would be wonderful. Veterinary Notes Lily has not been seen by a veterinarian recently, but she is reported to be current on vaccines and is spayed.January 21, 2026, 6:48 pm

Story
Courtesy Listing – Lou Name: Lou Age: 7 months Sex: Neutered male Lou is a young, friendly pup looking for the right home through a courtesy listing. We are thinking he is probably a border collie/terrier mix. He is vaccinated, crate trained, and potty trained, and he does well with other dogs and is kid friendly. We are rehoming Lou due to his prey drive as he has killed a chicken and continues to focused on them, so he will need a home that can safely manage this behavior and does not have small livestock or free-roaming small animals. He currently has no medical concerns. ***Please note: Lou is not located at the shelter and is not under the shelter’s care. This is a courtesy post to help his owner find a suitable placement. All inquiries will be directed to the owner.*** Contact: Lauren laurenblack721@gmail.com If you’re interested in Lou and believe your home may be a good fit, please reach out directly to the owner using the contact information above.  January 21, 2026, 6:48 pm
