Story
We have a transport on 7/27/24 to Norcal and OR. We would love to add her to our trip for the right family. Meet Meena ❤️ She is a 2 year old female labradoodle. Yes, she has the hypoallergenic coat which means she does not shed. She is reddish apricot in color. She is not leggy, but more medium height and stout in size. She is estimated around 45 lbs. I'll update her weight as soon as I have it. She is spayed. She will also be current on all vaccines, microchipped, have a dental cleaning done, will be thourely examined, and cleared by our vet prior to adoption. She is house trained, and goes out when she needs to use the restroom throughout the day by sitting by the back door, or by coming and gently nudging you to let you know. She is crate trained; and has no issue using a crate if ever needed. She has impeccable house manners, and currently has free roam of our entire home, and sleeps on a dog bed in our room at night which she absolutely loves. She is leash trained, and walks with us on leash just fine aside from a bit of pulling when we initially start our walks she does quite wonderful. She is very shy meeting new people, and is not one to walk up freely to anyone she doesn't know. She takes her time getting to know new people, but I assure you that her personality blossoms as soon as she is comfortable enough to call you her friend. She is VERY sweet, and attentive to her person/family. LOVES affection, and will follow you around with her head in the palm of your hand if you allow her too. She has a very independent nature at home, and will freely go about her business, whether taking a nap near by, or simply just lounging in the room in her favorite bed. She is not high maintenance in the sense that you have to be at her every beck and call, as she is very communicative when she needs something, and when she doesn't she simply just hangs out as comfortably as she can. She is great with other dogs, but does not need to be in a home with another dog as long as she has her human/family for companionship then her heart and days will be full ❤️ She is NOT high energy, but does love her walks, and to be with her person when you do have the time to dote on her. She is great on road trips, loves her spa days with our groomer, and is an overall very easy going, laid back, go with the flow kinda gal who is looking for a patient, kind, loving, understanding human to call her own and share her days with. She is not a barker, and is rather quiet and serene tempered. She however will alert you of unfamiliar noises. She listens well, and is very attentive to your expectations of her, so a quick "no barking," and she is focused right back to you without hesitation. She didn't get much socialization in her prior home, as they felt "dogs belonged outside," and that their "occasional family gatherings and bbqs in the yard," was all the attention she needed. They claimed she "preferred outdoor living," which couldn't have been more false on their end sadly. Time does change everything and Meena has shown us just how much of a true house dog she is, and it's been an absolute pleasure working with her but it's finally time to find a home all her own where she will continue to be the princess she is ❤️ If that's you, then I promise you that Meena is one dog worth taking a leap of faith on so that you can also experience the same love we have once she opens her heart to yours 💕 Her adoption fee is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org under her listing. It will cover her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, her dental cleaning/possible extractions/anesthesia, her antibiotic shot that will be given to aid in her dental cleaning, her exam with our vet, along with the time, care, and training she has had since with us.

Story
Pending adoption. We have a transport trip to NorCal and OR leaving on 7/27/24 and would love to add Ruby for the right home/adopter. Meet Ruby. She is a purebred red toy poodle. She is 3.5 years of age. She weighs around 5/6 lbs. Yes she is full grown, and at a healthy weight. I will update her weight once we have it. She is set to be spayed, and will also be brought current on all vaccines, will be microchipped, have a dental cleaning done, and will be thourely examined and cleared by our vet prior to adoption. She is an absolute DOLL!!! She LOVES to be snuggled and will rest her head right on your chest, and as close to your heart as she can ❤️❤️❤️ She is a total princess, and just wants to love, and to be loved however she can. She didn't have the best life coming to us, as she was used for breeding and thrown out like garbage when they decided to bring in and replace her with a younger female 💔 She never really knew love, or what it meant to truly be loved but her heart was ready to accept it the moment she was freed from her past life and given a second chance at the life she deserved ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ YOU will NEVER regret saying yes to this special soul. She gave her life to her last owners bringing many puppies into this world, and now it's her time to be given a life in return. One that she will never want, or need for anything, and that will be filled with love, kindness, and a real family that will never go a day without showing her just how special she is by loving her the way she deserves for the rest of her life 💕 She is AMAZING with all animals. Dogs, cats, and I'm certain would love any other fur member you may have. She however, does not need to be in a home with other animals as long as she has her person/family in return. She deserves a full life however that may look for you ❤️ She is phenomenal at the groomers, and is learning that being pampered is quite the treatment, and one she will never get tired of receiving. She is really good in the car, and would happily accompany you on road trips of any kind. She is crate trained, but I don't reccomend a crate if you don't have to use one as she does pace back and forth in a crate as she spent a lot of time in a crate in her last home. We have reconditioned her to a crate, and have been showing her that it's a positive place, where she can find comfort when needed. We have been leaving the crate doors open during the day so she knows she can come and go as she pleases and will never have to be confined again. At night, we do crate her, but that's when she does settle into her bed and fall asleep. If you would like her to be in bed with you, or on a bed in your room I'm certain she would love that too ❤️ She is pad trained, and will also go outside for you to use the restroom. She is always accompanied due to her size and the wildlife we have here, but if you set up a daily schedule for her then potty time isn't hard at all! Her new life with us is brand new, and moving forward there will be many things that will also be very new so we are looking for a kind, patient, understanding, loving, committed, and very caring individual or family that will take the time she needs to allow her to navigate YOUR life making it her OWN ❤️ She is NOT a barker at all. And is very quiet, and serene tempered by nature. She is currently shaved down, but once her coat comes back in, it will be beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Adoption fee along with its breakdown is under her listing on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org. It will cover all of her vetting, along with her dental cleaning, time and care since with us, and her continued grooming costs, and training until she finds a home all her own 💕

Story
We have a transport trip to NorCal and OR on 7/27/24 and we would love to add Ava to our trip for the right family ❤️ Meet Ava. She is a purebred chocolate yorkie female. She is tiny, and weighs aprox 3/4 lbs. Yes, she is full grown, and yes, she is at a healthy weight. She is 3 years of age ❤️ She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, and is scheduled to have a dental cleaning as that's one thing her last owner never had done. She will be thourely examined, and cleared by our vet prior to adoption 💗💗💗 She is pad trained, and is good about using them if in her space. She will go outside to use the restroom, but is always accompanied due to the wildlife we have here and her small size. If you have her on a schedule then potty time won't be a big issue whatsoever. She is crate trained, and has zero issues using a crate. She is leash trained; and loves her walks however she can get them. She is VERY sweet with people. She is NOT a barker, but will alert you of unfamiliar noises. She is good with all dogs we have here, but does not need to have dogs in her next home as she truly is a people dog and would enjoy being the princess in her next home. She is an amazing little companion ❤️ She is great on road trips around town, so if you travel she would accompany you beautifully. She is wonderful at the groomers and enjoys her spa days. She has very good house manners, and loves to just be close to her humans. She is not needy, and quite independent and understanding if your time can't fully revolve around her, but she won't have any complaints when all eyes are on her and hands 🤣 as she loves ear scratches, and belly rubs if you don't mind giving them to her 💕 She LOVES treat time, and while she won't beg for treats, cuz ladies don't beg of course 😉 she will patiently sit and gaze into your eyes ever so slightly as if treat time really is just like any other time of the day but I assure you her heart is so happy and full when she finally gets her treats ❤️❤️ Her prior owners sadly couldn't keep her any longer because they were unable to to provide her with the life she deserved due to an extreme financial hardship in their family that left them having to move in with relatives. They didn't want her to go without, and didn't know when their situation would change so they contacted us here to take her in and find her the home her heart so desperately craves 💗 Don't pass by this amazingly sweet, beautiful, kind hearted, precious little soul and contact us today! Adoption fee along with its breakdown is under her listing on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org. It covers her vetting including her dental cleaning that will be done, along with her time, care, and training since with us.

Story
We have a transport trip to Norcal, and OR set to begin on 7/27/24 and we would love to add Chloe to our trip for the right home ❤️ Meet Chloe. She is a purebred 1.5 year old female shih tzu. She weighs 11 lbs and is at a healthy weight. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and has been thourley examined and cleared by our vet to find a home all her own. She is house trained and will go outside throughout the day as needed to use the restroom. She is crate trained, and has no issue being in a crate if you need to have her in one, whether to sleep/nap, or for her to be in there while you are away from the home. She however, has great house manners, so if you don't feel a crate is right for your home, then she would be fine without one. She is also leash trained, and loves her walks. She is phenomenal in the car, and LOVES road trips around town, whenever you allow her to be your passenger princess she is happy to accommodate ❤️☺️ She is WONDERFUL with ALL animals, whether it's cats, dogs, birds, or even farm animals. She is a friend to ALL that want to be her friend in return 💗 She is amazing meeting new people, and adores men, women, and children alike. She is beautifully tempered, kind hearted, and as sweet as they possibly come from her gentleness, to her serene demeanor she truly is made of all things great. She is NOT a barker, and is very quiet by nature. She loves to be in your lap, held, or simply nearby when she can be. If you are looking for a companion dog, don't let her age deter you for even a second. She has an old soul, and is that one of kind dog your heart has been waiting to love. Her prior owner sadly didn't have the time, nor means to care for her any longer, and being recently widowed left her feeling completely lost picking up the pieces in her life, leaving Chloe more and more by herself. Her goodbye was a hard one, but a neccesary one to ensure the happiness of Chloe moving forward, so we were contacted to bring her in and find her the home she deserved to have again. Her adoption fee in total is in our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org. It covers all vet costs, time, care, grooming, and training since with us. Photos will be updated soon so make sure to check back for them!
