Story
(We have a transport trip to NorCal and OR on 4/27/24 and would love to add this beautiful girl to our trip for the right family ❤️ travel costs will be divided between all adopting families in route.) Meet Molly! She is a 2 year old labradoodle. She weighs 52 lbs and yes she is full grown and at a healthy weight. She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, and has been thoroughly examined and cleared by our vet to find a home all her own. She is house trained, and goes outside every couple of hours to use the restroom when needed. She is crate trained; and will sleep in a crate if her new adopting family desires. She does however sleep on a dog bed aside ours at night and does perfectly okay with that. She is leash trained, and LOVES exploring the world, and everyone in it 😂 She is full of life, and is ready to fill it with all that the world has to offer ❤️ She is very sweet with everyone she meets 💕 Men, women, and children alike. She is WONDERFUL with other animals and is a friend to all of them 😊 She loves to give hugs, and it's one thing we haven't broken her from simply because of how much joy it brings her loving her person as passionately as she does. If you have ever met a dog who has a grateful heart, then you would know just how that looks and feels when in that dogs presence, especially when their love outpours through those veey hugs 🤗 She is a gem of a dog, and I can't say enough good things about her and the friend you will have made adding her to your family She is sweet, kind hearted, adventurous, loving, goofy, charismatic, charming, and WONDERFUL in every single way. She is that girl you want in your life ❤️ Adoption fee can be found on our website under her listing at breadoflifek9refuge.org

Story
Pending adoption Meet Niko! He is a purebred yorkie. He is 4 years of age. He weighs right around the 7 lb mark, and yes he is fully grown and at a very healthy weight. He is neutered, micorchipped, current on all vaccines, and has been cleared by our vet to find a home all his own. He is house trained, and has been introduced to pads if needed in his next home. He will go outside to use the restroom about 3 times a day. He is crate trained, and has no issue going into a crate if his new adopting family wishes to have him sleep there. He however, LOVES being in bed with his humans, so if you are looking for a snuggle buddy at bedtime, he will happily oblige. He is your true definition of a lap dog, and loves to be near his human as often as he can. We would love to find him a home where his new humans are either retired, or work from home, so that he can remain his happiest little self every day moving forward as he is HAPPIEST when they are around. He is a great traveling partner, so if you take any type of road trips, long or short, he sits in his booster seat and is always ready for wherever the road takes him even if just to run errands around town. He is good with all the dogs we have here, big or small; but doesn't need to have dog friends in his new home as long as he has his person. He is also very good with cats, so that won't be an issue if you have any cat friends at home. He is a very sweet, loving, beautiful little boy patiently waiting for a family to call his own again so if that's you reach out to us and tell us all about yourself, the home you would be providing, and your breed experience andd from there we will be in contact! Adoption fee Along with its breakdown is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org under his listing.

Story
MJ is a special case we got her from an ex co worker. Little did I know it was a rescue. She was very timid when we got her scared of everything. Wouldn’t leave her crate, Wouldn’t eat, wouldn’t go outside and go to the bathroom. I could tell that something horrible had happened to this dog but she was kind still. MJ is a pure bred AKC papered German Shepherd. She is the sweetest dog I’ve ever owned. She likes to go for long walks and swim. She loves her family and if you become a part of her she will never leave your side. We have kids and she has shown nothing but love to them. She is a little stand off ish to teenagers at first, she does warm up. If you are a lady she will love you no matter what. Me and my MIL have come to be her favorite people. She does get along with other dogs but it takes her time to warm up to them.

Story
Our friendly, energetic GSD mix Calliope is 8 years old. We recently welcomed our first baby and the transition has been tough on Calliope. Calliope is jealous and her behavior is anxious & nervous around the baby, with frequent pacing and whimpering, which is worrying. She has not been aggressive, but she is clearly frustrated. On top of this, we are now expecting a second baby later this year, and are simply not in a position to give Calliope the active life she deserves. She was accustomed to frequent attention & vigorous exercise, which realistically we can no longer provide. After much deliberation we've decided rehoming is the best option. Calliope spent several years doing off-leash pack walks where she got great socialization with many dogs and honed her off-leash & recall skills. She then spent several years as an office dog. We have 2 cats who she gets along very well with. She is healthy and up to date on all shots. Thanks, happy to answer any question

Story
*FEE NEGOTIABLE* Jughead is a 5yo LOVER and wants to be with his people. All he wants is to be nearby to the point of touching or almost touching you, to eat food, and to get good pets in. He is anxious when separated & has been that way since we got him at 6mos old from a breeder (can be worked on through positive reinforcement), he is now reactive toward other dogs because he was attacked unprovoked by two different bull males in 2020 (can also be worked with through positive reinforcement), and he has typical Frenchie reflux. Temperament toward humans and cats: a total DOLL. He is LOW ENERGY, great with gentle kids and deserves just that, he is not fit for a home with rambunctious kids due to his breed’s spine sensitivities. Ideal owner: a WFH/SAH owner who would enjoy training him through separation anxiety as needed; will get pet insurance to cover unforeseen breed specific issues; regularly groom nails/hair/face folds & buy special food that keeps yeast low.
