*** THIS IS A COURTESY POST, THIS ANIMAL IS NOT AT THE SHELTER. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING THIS ANIMAL, PLEASE REACH OUT TO THE OWNER AT: mariahmichel2018@yahoo.com *** Meet Buddy: A Handsome Soul in Need of a Loving Home Buddy is a beautiful ~2 yr old male lab/pit mix with a gentle and loving heart. He's looking for a family who can help provide him structure and training so he can be the best dog possible. He's an energetic boy who would love to go on hikes and be your activity buddy.  He is quite friendly and outgoing, but can be a tad nervous around men he doesn't know.   He is quite the house dog, but needs more space to run and get his energy out than his current owner is able to provide. Buddy has lived with children before, but does better with older kids/teenagers who can respect his space. Buddy knows sit and loves to get his customary treat after doing that task (though he can be a little impatient sometimes)!  Buddy knows his name and will follow you around. He can sometimes be stubborn & knows it (but that adds this personality!). He is scared of the rain but loves to be outside and sun bathe. He’s not scared of big dogs or dogs that bark but the little tiny dogs make him nervous he gets shy. He is a bit like the nosy neighbor because he likes to be everyone’s business but they all love him!  If you’re ready to open your heart to this sweet boy and provide him with the stability and love he deserves, please contact Mariah at mariahmichel2018@yahoo.com This is a courtesy post; Buddy is not at the shelter. Let’s help him find the forever home he deserves!   All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Luna is a sensitive, shy, beautiful girl who came to us after a difficult start to life. She and her siblings, Shadow and Cometa, were raised entirely in a backyard with little to no exposure to the outside world. At the shelter, she has been introduced to new environments and people and has made a remarkable turnaround. Luna is shy at first and a very sweet girl. She opens up once you give her time and space. Putting in that time is well worth because Lune will reward you with hugs and cuddles. She loves to play chase and do zoomies and enjoys having the freedom to run around the yard, an experience she has never known before. A generous person paid for her DNA-essentially a Husky/Great Pyrenees mix. She is proof that with time and love, dogs will always give everything they have. Her perfect adopter is someone who is incredibly caring and has patience and understanding for a dog that will need time to adjust to a loving and nurturing home. If you're willing to give Luna the time she needs, you will be rewarded many times over.Come meet her during our walk-in hours Friday and Saturday or by appointment Monday through Thursday, 11-3. Adoption fees are $50 and include microchip, spay, and all up-to-date vaccinations. Adoptions are always free for veterans.
