We inherited Maverick after a death in the family but cannot keep him in our apartment. He’s a longtime family pet who grew up alongside a newborn baby and a husky. He’s is a great big loveable goofball who loves being the center of attention and needs a loving home. He’s 9 years old, loves walks and any type of playtime, and he gets along with other animals and people. He’s a really great dog and we wish we could keep him.

We’ve had Thor since he was just 6 weeks old, and he’s truly a gentle soul. He’s very relaxed—he loves attention but is also perfectly happy doing his own thing, especially if he can enjoy the outdoors in the sun or cool air. For a husky, he’s surprisingly quiet and only howls if something isn’t right. He’s extremely friendly, loves other dogs, and is great with people. We are looking for someone who will give him the attention and care he deserves.

Please read description below. We have tried everything to keep our dog Toby but unfortunately no training has worked for him to be able to be around our baby. Please reach out if you would like to adopt. Dog Name: Toby Age: 5 years Breed: Chihuahua / Rat Terrier / Pug mix Weight: Approximately 18 pounds Background: Toby came to us from a home that appeared unstable. We were not actively looking for a dog and felt pressured into taking him. He has always shown some reactive behaviors, but those behaviors have become more difficult to manage over time. Personality: Toby is affectionate with his owners and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. He enjoys being near his family and can be loving, loyal, and playful. Behavioral Concerns: Toby is reactive and can become stressed in situations he perceives as threatening or uncomfortable. He uses growling to communicate that he wants space. He is not comfortable around guests and can be wary of unfamiliar people entering the home

Roxy is a 3 year old, very playful,energetic, border collie and husky mix. We got her from Sacramento SPCA when she was about 5 months old. Roxy has been spayed and is up to date on her shots.Roxy is very fun to have around. She likes to run, yet she always comes back to you no matter how far she has gone. She is curious about everything and loves to explore the world. You can always expect her to be sniffing at the new thing you are looking at no matter whether it is a robot vacuum or an onion. Roxy is a very smart dog. She learned how to do her business outside two days after coming home. She has learned tricks like Sit, Figure 8, Crawl and more. Roxy is a very playful and loyal dog to have. We have had a lot of adventures together for the last few years.That being said, Roxy is an energetic dog. She has been too much for us since the birth of our first child. We have all the dog stuff and a dog trainer that we have prepaid lessons for life, and would help with the transition.
