Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Stuart – The Fluffy Little Fighter! Stuart is an impossibly fluffy, tiny French Bulldog with a mighty heart. Born August 31st with a cleft palate, Stuart was tube-fed from birth—but he’s come an incredible long way. He now eats completely on his own and continues to grow stronger and more confident every day. While he’s still smaller than most pups his age, he’s thriving and proving just how resilient he is. Stuart currently prefers drinking from a water bottle rather than a bowl, which helps him manage his cleft safely and comfortably. What does his cleft mean long term? Most cleft palate pups—just like Stuart—learn to eat and drink normally as they grow. In over 13 years of raising cleft pups, surgery has rarely been necessary and is not recommended unless chronic sinus infections develop. These procedures can create more problems than they solve, and Stuart has been doing wonderfully without surgery. Because he was hand-raised, Stuart is extremely people-oriented and deeply bonded to his humans. He loves being close—whether that’s snuggled in your arms or toddling along behind you from room to room. He lives comfortably in a busy home with lots of dogs and children and does great with both. Why You’ll Love Him: Sweet, gentle, and incredibly people-focused Eats on his own and continues to gain confidence Great with dogs and kids Fluffy, unique, and undeniably adorable A resilient, once-in-a-lifetime kind of companion Adoption Fee: $700 Apply: AdoptPet – Recycled Pets NorCal Anyone would be lucky to welcome this special little boy into their home. If you’re ready to love, protect, and spoil him the way he deserves, Stuart is ready to love you right back.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 18, 2026, 11:41 am

Story
Sweet little Cranberry is thought to be abound 12 yrs old and weighs about 7-8lbs. She came to us with many mammary tumors which have been removed. The ones that were biopsied were benign, however her new family will need to keep watch on any new ones that might form so they can be addressed. Her ideal home would be one with someone home alot, someone who loves snuggling on the furniture and kids over 12 due to her age/size. A yard and another friendly doggie companion to pal around with would also be super! Here is what her fostermom has to say about this special girl: Cranberry may be shy and a little scared at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes your most loyal little companion. She bonds deeply with her person and loves to stay close, whether that means following you from room to room or curling up beside you for a snuggle. Despite her medical journey, Cranberry remains incredibly sweet, affectionate, and happy. She’s a true foodie and is always excited for treats and mealtime. Cranberry is crate trained, house trained, and gets along well with small dogs. She’s very in tune with her environment and tends to take the vibe of the room, looking to her owner for guidance and reassurance. Cranberry would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who’s ready to offer patience, consistency, and lots of love in return for the most devoted companion. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will choose you as her person, Cranberry might be your girl. Story
Sweet little Dasher was recently rescued and is now ready for his forever home. His estimated dob is 7/2025 and he is about 14lbs. Dasher's ideal home: * Secure fenced yard where he can play and race around in * Another friendly, playful dog. He's used to being with his siblings, so he seeks out dog companionship. * Kids over 12yrs old He is fairly well potty trained but needs his human to take him out every now and then. Currently Dasher sleeps in a crate at night (8hrs). He already knows Come, Sit and Down and would benefit from continued training and socialization. He loves to run and play outside with his fosterparents and fosterdoggie sister. Dasher also enjoys playing in the snow! Dasher has a great inquisitive personality and is ready to snuggle when it's time to relax. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Norah is approximately 7 months old. She came from the Stockton shelter where one of our RPNC volunteers first heard about her and started fostering her. Norah was a medical foster due to her having a prolapsed rectum. She's had two surgeries to repair her colon and after a long recovery period Norah is ready to find her forever home. Norah will need to stay on special food through her life and it will be important for her new family to understand her medical condition. There is a possibility that she will need to have another surgery by a specialist. However, her foster has been able to control her condition with diet and we are hopeful her new family will be able to do the same. Norah is a typical 6 month old puppy. She loves to play, play, play. She currently lives with 2 other dogs; a younger dog and an older dog. She does great with both. Plays with the younger dog and respects the older dog. She also lives with a cat, that she likes to chase. We think with boundaries and more training she could live with a dog savvy cat. She loves all peoples. She is house and crate trained but is still learning the command "go to bed" to go into her crate on command and she is still learning the basics such as sit. Altough Norah is your typical active puppy, she can also chill out and chew on a nyla bone for hours. Norah would be a fantastic addition to any family. She is one of those dogs that fits in with everyone. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ora – The Shimmering Little Miracle &#226&#156&#168 Ora is a growing French Bulldog with a heart of gold and a coat as rare and beautiful as her story. Born August 20th, she was brought to the Antioch Shelter, who reached out to us for help. Despite that rocky start, Ora has blossomed into a happy, confident, social young dog who is more than ready for her forever home. Ora is no longer a tiny baby—she’s getting bigger, stronger, and more playful by the day, and she truly needs a family of her own now. She absolutely adores people, loves other dogs, and clearly came from a home where she was loved and well socialized. What Makes Ora So Unique? Ora is a double merle Frenchie. While this creates her stunning light coat, it can come with increased risk of vision or hearing issues. Ora beat the odds—she can see and hear and functions just like any other joyful, active young dog. One of her eyes is red, likely related to albinism, which may cause mild light sensitivity, but it does not slow her down. More About Ora: Born: 8/20 Size: Growing quickly and no longer a tiny puppy Personality: Outgoing, affectionate, and people-focused Health: Sees and hears; possible mild light sensitivity Behavior: Playful, social, loves dogs, happiest with her humans Special Traits: Rare merle coat, red albino eye, resilient and joyful &#226&#156&#168 Ora Is Ready—And Waiting Ora doesn’t need a rescue anymore—she needs a home. She’s a wonderful, normal young Frenchie with a little extra sparkle who deserves stability, love, and her own family. Story
Forest is a sweet little medium to high energy Chihuahua and Border Collie mix. He was born around 9/1/2024 and currently weighs 20 lbs. His DNA test came back with 15 breeds and Chihuahua/Border Collie were the highest %'s. Forest is playful, loyal and smart. He likes the company of other friendly dogs and likes playing chase and wrestling with them. He is beginning to enjoy balls and toys and will occasionally play with them. He Iikes chewing on bully sticks and other chew toys and bones. He loves going for walks, hiking and will swim sometimes. In the evenings he enjoys couch time with his humans. He desires to be a large part of his family’s life and likes being included in daily activities. Forest can be shy when meeting new people but has shown he will warm up with slow, calm introductions. He has a tendency to be somewhat timid but his confidence has grown quite a bit in his foster home. Once he is comfortable in a home he is a happy, delightful, playful and cuddly boy. He has a preference for women but does warm up to men in time. Forest is crate trained, walks politely on a leash and is house broken in his foster home. He currently lives with friendly dogs of various sizes and gets a long well with them. He also lives with dog savvy cats but will challenge shy kitties and chase if they run. Children would likely overwhelm him so only dog savvy, respectful kids over 12 are recommended. He would not do well being left home alone daily for long hours. He enjoys a yard and is an alert barker so no apartments for him. Forest would do well in an active home with a confident, playful dog companion to help boost his confidence, help show him the ropes and keep him company while his humans are away from home. He would not do well with an overly dominant dog who bullies him. A person who has the time, patience and willingness to work with a shy dog would be ideal. Forest is a sweet, playful dog who is a joy to foster. He is patiently waiting for his forever home.
