I am looking for an unconditional loving home for this precious Soul. O was taken care of by his owner (my neighbor) like royalty, who asked me to find him the best home before she passed. He is still treated like royalty, and I want to find a home for him that will do the same, where he will continue to thrive. O is 14lbs.He is brushed daily and has hair, not fur.He needs a lot of love and affection, because that is what he is used to.He has always eaten organic home cooked meals, and his favorite are ground turkey, sweet potatoes (not yams) and boiled chicken with veggies.O is a very sweet, warm, and loving dog. He is shy at first, but eventually when he trusts you, he is the funniest and so playful. Although he is 10 years old, he does have the energy of a 4 or 5 year old, and has a long, beautiful, and healthy life ahead of him.O does tend to lick his paws when he's nervous, so that's something to be aware of.He is a very good boy, loves kids, and 20-25 minute walks.

We saved him from his abuser, and now we’re showing him the kindness and love he should have known his entire life. Roo may be scared when meeting someone new, but with treats, patience, and a gentle touch, he warms up quickly. Once he trusts you, he gives you his whole heart. He loves toys, treats, relaxing in his bed, snuggling, and staying close to his person. Although Roo can be around other dogs, he would prefer to be the only pet because, for the first time in his life, he wants a family’s love all to himself—and who could blame him? 🐾 MEET BRUCE! 🐾 Bruce is a handsome 4½-year-old Coonhound mix weighing about 45 lbs. — the perfect size, not too big and not too small! ❤️ He’s only been with us for a few days, but so far he has shown us what a sweet, calm, quiet, and affectionate boy he is. 🎓 Bruce has already been through training and has a great foundation! He knows sit, down, heel, and his basic commands, and we’ll continue building on what he already knows. He is also extremely potty trained and will actually whine to let you know when he needs to go outside! 🏡 Bruce is definitely an indoor dog. He loves relaxing in his bed with some enrichment, hanging out with his people, giving kisses and little hand licks, and being a couch potato. He also does well being left home alone, so someone who works full-time could still be a great fit for him. But if you’re looking for an adventure buddy, Bruce would also be happy joining you for walks and hikes! 🥾🌲 🐕 We are continuing to assess him with other animals, but so far things have been encouraging! Bruce previously lived with a cat and a small dog, and since arriving here he has done well during introductions with a large German Shepherd and some smaller dogs. Bruce truly has so much potential, and we think he is going to make someone an amazing companion. ❤️

HI - I'M SHEENA, a petite 5-1/2-year-old shepherd-mix girl in need of a forever home! I'm currently in the Swatara/Grand Rapids area and available to meet! I weigh only about 35 lbs! I bond intensely and quickly to my person or people, as I'm starved for love and attention. Once I trust you, I will be your golden girl. I love, love, love human attention and affection, and giving hugs. (We have videos!) I also love to ride in the car so would be a great companion for road trips. Change can be a bit hard for me, so I need someone patient and understanding in the beginning. I am also not a fan of other dogs and that may never change, but I truly am a sweet girl ready to jump on your couch or bed and give you kisses. I would do best in a quiet home with an adult or adults who will love me and give me time to feel secure and bond. I am very deserving of a home and am a sweet, affectionate girl. MEET HOWIE! This happy, gentle Lab-Ridgeback-Pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 6 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape - he had major skin issues/hair loss and had clearly been neglected, but now he looks so much better, and continues to be on good salmon food and supplements. He's soon in training in Northern Minnesota. He's appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. Howie is a big snuggler and will want to share your bed! He loves going for walks and other outings. He is good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female. He's been waiting a long time for his own home, and we're hoping he can find a home by the end of the year. Howie currently needs a foster or forever home. Howie weighs about 55-60 lbs., and is soon available to meet. Please email for an application.

Whiskey is a loving playful protective girl. She’s 6 years old with high play energy. I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old from a breeder. I want a home that will love her and play with her. She is a house dog so she used to cuddles only loves outside for sunbathing and play. She has warned us about multiple attempted break ins so she’s a great guard dog.shes a happy girl that just wants love and play. She sometimes will get along with other dogs and sometimes doesn’t it depends. She is also crate trained and is used to a doggy daycare as well.
