HI - I'M GABE! I'm a handsome 5-year-old blue-and-white Pit Bull Terrier in need of a home! I'm truly adorable, with my short legs and heart-shaped nose. I love people and love going on road trips, walks, and hikes. I also love the car and would make a great co-pilot. I could play ball all day long so be prepared! I'm not the greatest fan of most dogs, so would do best as the king of my castle with people who can dote on me. And I do fine with some cats but not others, so will probably do best in a home without any cats, too. I weigh about 60 lbs., and am currently in need of a foster or forever home. I had been impounded there as a stray, and had kennel mates while there. I'm a happy, playful girl, with always a smile to give. I do well walking side by side with other dogs, but in a home I get too jealous so would do best as an only dog. I'm great with people and kids, too! I love to snuggle! I weigh 55-60 lbs. HI - I'M SHEENA, a petite 5-1/2-year-old shepherd-mix girl in need of a foster or forever home. I weigh only about 30 lbs! I was rescued from a scary California shelter awhile back, and that was my lucky day as I was scared there. I am a shy but sweet dog. Once I trust you, I will be your golden girl. I love, love, love human attention and affection, and giving hugs. (We have videos!) Change is a bit hard for me, so I need someone patient and understanding in the beginning. I would do best in a quiet home with an adult or adults who will love me and give me time to feel secure and bond. I get along fine with some dogs but would also thrive as the only dog in the home, where I can get all the focus and attention. I am very deserving of a home and am a sweet, affectionate girl. Despite my imposing look, I am a sweetheart in disguise once I'm in your inner circle. I especially love men - and I bond quickly and intensely to my person. I'd make a great, loyal companion. I'd do great with a single guy experienced with pits who wants to bond. Despite my look, I am very timid around other dogs. So what's my story? Well, I was dumped by my people -- and taken in by a rescue group so I wouldn't end up in the shelter system.
