Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Pit Bull X DOB: 9/2021 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: short Size: large Color(s): chocolate/white Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application. Hi, I'm Aries, a very friendly Pit Bull X in need of a new home as I was left behind at a relative's house and they unfortunately can't keep me. I grew up with another dog and we constantly played together until we got bigger, then we started not getting along so much. It could be due to the fact we both weren't neutered. I'm an active big boy who loves playing fetch and cooling off in the kiddie pools they have a the kennel. I'm a lap dog if you'll let me and love giving and receiving affection. I'm good with older children, but it's unknown how I would do with younger ones. What I don't love is being left alone for long periods of time. I enjoy playing with other dogs and I do well in play groups at the kennel with other active dogs. I'm good on pack walks too. It's unknown how I would do with cats. I know some basic commands, but could use some work on leash training. I'm treat motivated so that will help with teaching me new things. I know my breed gets a bad rap, but I truly hope you'll come meet me and see what a great guy I am. Cause you know I'm a certified good boy when the vet just has to take a picture with you when you visit for a checkup! She said I was amazing! If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application. December 15, 2024, 8:07 pm

Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chihuahua, Boxer, Great Dane, Pit Bull and Peruvian Inca Orchid X DOB: 8/2022 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: medium Color(s): black / red brown Description:***Needs a Foster Home***This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application.Hi, I'm Sonora, a beautiful, joyful and entertaining Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chihuahua, Boxer, Great Dane, Pit Bull and Peruvian Inca Orchid X, whew that was a mouthful, (dna test) who is in need of a forever home. I had a rough start in life and was found abandoned in the mountains in Sonora, Mexico (hence my name) with a head injury and very sick as a puppy. Some vacationing hikers found me and brought me back to the US to take care of me. I'm healthy now and ready for adoption.I'm not always the easiest dog to manage, but I've had formal training and a few foster families to help me learn how to behave in a home. I've learned a lot, but still have some learning to do. I'm very smart so I know I can continue to learn more.I love running around, cuddling and playing with other dogs. I'm very high energy, love to go on walks, but can be reactive to triggers when on leash. Another dog in the home would be great, but that dog would need to be able to handle my energy level. I need a yard to get my daily zoomies in.If I'm going to be left alone, I need to be confined in a dog proof area or in a crate. I'm not suited for apartment life. I can be shy with strangers at first, but I'm quick to fall in love with most people. Although I've been supervised around young children and did great with them, I tend to jump and play nip when excited so would do best in a dog experienced adult home.I might do ok with cats. A couple of the foster homes had cats and I ignored them or left them alone, but I was never unattended with them.If you're looking for an active great gal and can give me the structure and environment that I need to thrive, please put in an application to meet me. Minimum 6 foot fence.November 7, 2024, 11:05 am

Breed: Chihuahua X DOB: 1/2013 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: small Color(s): brown/white Description:Hi, I'm Jax, a shy Chihuahua X in need of a new home with my 'brother' Stewart as our beloved owner sadly has passed away. We're a bonded pair and need to be adopted together.I'm more reserved and enjoy a comfy lap to sit in. I know come, walk well on leash and I'm crate and paper trained too. I see myself as the boss and can be a finicky eater and a bit of a nipper. I like to cuddle, but on my terms. We're older less active little guys who are good with other dogs and cats too. I tend to get jealous if I find a cat in the lap I covet and will protest. We need an adult only home where there is someone home all the time for us to be happy. If you have room in your heart and home for two sweet little guys, please fill out an online application to meet us.February 17, 2025, 8:40 pm

Story
Available to foster or adopt!Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull X DOB: 4/2023 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: mediumSize: large Color(s): white/black Description:***Needs a Foster Home***This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application.Hi, I'm Ketchup, a mostly American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull with Siberian Husky / Chow / Australian Shepherd / American Bulldog / German Shepherd / Neapolitan Mastiff and Bulldog according to the DNA test, who was rescued from a shelter. I may be a bit shy at first, those who have spent time with me describe me as a sweet and affectionate pooch.I was in a home for a short while and it was noted that I enjoy lounging on the couch or my dog bed. I will also sit politely by the door when I need to go outside. I know my name and seem very good at sitting. I did not beg while they ate, instead I went to the couch or my bed to wait until they were done. I would do best in a forever home with carpeted floors and a calm, gentle environment where I can feel safe and comfortable. They thought I seemed scared of the dark and I didn't warm up entirely to the male in the home. I may need some time to adjust to my new surroundings, but once I do, I will reward you with my love and companionship. I walk well with other dogs at the kennel and I was not dog reactive when out on walks while in the home, so if you have a fur baby in the home already, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet. It is unknown if I get along with cats or how I would do with children.Give me a chance, you'll see that I'm a great dog who would love to find a forever home where I can live out the rest of my days in comfort and happiness. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application.October 5, 2025, 10:45 pm

Story
Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog DOB: 6/2013 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): white/tan merle Description: Hi, I'm Daisy, aka, Daisy Mae, a Catahoula Leopard Dog with a rare breed feature, a 'glass eye', meaning my blue eye is the lightest of blues of the breed, almost milky blue. Then of course I also have a brown eye! I am very friendly with people and most dogs. I am very affectionate and would love to snuggle at your feet or next to you while you watch TV or take a nice walk with you. I am best as an only dog as I am a food resource guarder with other dogs. I am under treatment for chronic anemia and I take medication for it. I may also need occasional blood tests. I lost my home with my 3 ‘siblings’ when our owner got sick and then sadly passed away after we were boarded at CARL for over a year. I’d love to be in a loving home to make up for lost time. If you need a loving, upbeat, grateful companion, I could very well be your girl. Please fill out an online application to meet me.October 30, 2025, 2:30 pm
