Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Pit Bull X DOB: 4/2018 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): brown brindle/white Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application. Hi, I'm Anubis, named after the Egyptian God, a beautiful Pit Bull X. I was lucky to be taken hiking by a CARL volunteer. I rode well in the car, walked great on leash and wasn't fazed by any of the people or animals I encountered during our hike. I think I'd make a great adventure buddy. I'm very sweet and social with people. I'm always happy to see a friendly face and to make new friends too. Volunteers say I am a good walker, I do not pull and love to sniff the walking route. I also love to go after lizards. I know commands of sit, paw, and lay down. I would love an active home where I can be your one and only. Please consider adopting me. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application to meet me.March 7, 2026, 5:35 pm

Story
Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog DOB: 6/2013 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): white/tan merle Description: Hi, I'm Daisy, aka, Daisy Mae, a Catahoula Leopard Dog with a rare breed feature, a 'glass eye', meaning my blue eye is the lightest of blues of the breed, almost milky blue. Then of course I also have a brown eye! I am very friendly with people and most dogs. I am very affectionate and would love to snuggle at your feet or next to you while you watch TV or take a nice walk with you. I am best as an only dog as I am a food resource guarder with other dogs. I am under treatment for chronic anemia and I take medication for it. I may also need occasional blood tests. I lost my home with my 3 ‘siblings’ when our owner got sick and then sadly passed away after we were boarded at CARL for over a year. I’d love to be in a loving home to make up for lost time. If you need a loving, upbeat, grateful companion, I could very well be your girl. Please fill out an online application to meet me.March 7, 2026, 5:35 pm

Story
Available to foster or adopt!Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull X DOB: 4/2023 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: mediumSize: large Color(s): white/black Description:***Needs a Foster Home***This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application.Hi, I'm Ketchup, a mostly American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull with Siberian Husky / Chow / Australian Shepherd / American Bulldog / German Shepherd / Neapolitan Mastiff and Bulldog according to the DNA test, who was rescued from a shelter. I may be a bit shy at first, those who have spent time with me describe me as a sweet and affectionate pooch.I was in a home for a short while and it was noted that I enjoy lounging on the couch or my dog bed. I will also sit politely by the door when I need to go outside. I know my name and seem very good at sitting. I did not beg while they ate, instead I went to the couch or my bed to wait until they were done. I would do best in a forever home with carpeted floors and a calm, gentle environment where I can feel safe and comfortable. They thought I seemed scared of the dark and I didn't warm up entirely to the male in the home. I may need some time to adjust to my new surroundings, but once I do, I will reward you with my love and companionship. I walk well with other dogs at the kennel and I was not dog reactive when out on walks while in the home, so if you have a fur baby in the home already, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet. It is unknown if I get along with cats or how I would do with children.Give me a chance, you'll see that I'm a great dog who would love to find a forever home where I can live out the rest of my days in comfort and happiness. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application.*Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving him the chance for a better life.March 7, 2026, 5:35 pm

Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Pit Bull X DOB: 11/2020 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: short Size: large Color(s): beige/white Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application. Hi, I'm Santa, a loving Pit Bull X who is in need of a new home as my owner needs to move out of the country to take care of his seriously ill mother and there is no one to take care of me. I'm very strong but sweet. Sometimes I pull when I’m excited but am usually very polite on pack walks at the kennel. I need an owner who will play with me daily but more importantly loves to cuddle on the couch. I know basic commands and I am house broken and crate trained. I'm good with children, but I need a home with no other dogs. It's unknown how I would do with cats. I can be cautious of strangers but usually love everyone once I get to know them. If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving him the chance for a better life. March 7, 2026, 5:35 pm

Breed: Chihuahua X DOB: 1/2013 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: small Color(s): brown/white Description:Hi, I'm Jax, a shy Chihuahua X in need of a new home as my beloved owner sadly has passed away.I'm more reserved and enjoy a comfy lap to sit in. I know come, walk well on leash and I'm crate and paper trained too. I see myself as the boss and can be a finicky eater and a bit of a nipper. I like to cuddle, but on my terms.I'm an older and less active little guy who is good with other dogs and cats too. I tend to get jealous if I find a cat in the lap I covet and will protest. I need an adult only home where there is someone home all the time for me to be happy. If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet little guy, please fill out an online application to meet me.March 7, 2026, 5:35 pm

Story
Breed: Pit Bull X DOB: 6/2015 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): tan/white Description: Hi, I'm Cain, a handsome Pit Bull X in need of a new home as my home was lost in the Bobcat Fire. I enjoy going for walks, being pet and interactive toys. My treats of choice are fruits and vegetables. I'm good with children, but I need to be your one and only fur baby in the home. I've had training and know sit, stay, lay and leash. I occasionally dart out the door, but all you have to do is ask me to sit and stay before going out the door. I have hypothyroidism and need daily medication. I'm also on anti-anxiety medication which I may not need in my forever home. I'm used to living in a home, who wouldn't become anxious when I unexpectedly had to leave. I know my breed gets a bad rap, but I hope you'll fill out an online application to come and meet me for yourself what a great guy I am.March 7, 2026, 5:35 pm
