Story
Woof! Hey there, pals! My name's Kylak, and I'm here to tell you a little bit about myself. You see, I might look a bit different with just three legs, but let me assure you, that doesn't slow me down one bit, especially at 8 years old!Life hasn't always been easy for me. I've had my fair share of struggles, like battling cancer and losing one of my legs along the way. But guess what? I'm still here, wagging my tail and ready to take on the world!I'm what you might call a Husky with a heart of gold. I adore humans - yup, that's you! - and I've got enough love to go around for everyone. Whether it's cuddling up for some belly rubs or going on adventures together, count me in! Oh, and did I mention I'm a social butterfly? Yep, I get along famously with other dogs too.You know, I'm kind of a lone wolf in some ways too. I've got this independent streak that keeps life interesting. But don't worry, I'm always up for some good company and a bit of fun!You might be wondering how I ended up here at SPARC. Well, let me tell you, I'm a bit of a wanderer. I found my way here all on my own, but it's not by chance. I knew this place was special, a safe haven where I could find a new beginning and maybe, just maybe, a forever family to call my own.So, what do you say, folks? Are you ready to welcome a resilient, loving, and downright charming guy like me into your home? I promise you won't regret it. Let's embark on this journey together, one pawstep at a time. Who's with me?

Story
Hi there! I'm Coco. I'm super cute but also very timid. There are very few staff members at SPARC that I like and will show affection toward. I am a fluff ball who is full of energy! I bark at people walking b but only to get their attention to come in and play with me! I love my roommates and have fun getting to know them. I am a little distrustful with humans at first because the only family i know left me here at SPARC. I would love to get a second chance at loving a human and being loved back! I was dropped off by my family when they had to move. I only liked my human siblings. I have been an outside dog all my life and only socialized with my family and one other dog. *Walk-ins and submitted applications DO NOT guarantee you will get to see or meet him. Please respect that meetings will be at the discretion of SPARC staff. We will only reach out to those with applications that we believe to fit Coco. Thank you for your understanding.**

Story
Woof woof, hi there! I'm Chuck, the one and only. I might come across as a bit reserved and cautious, but let me tell you, there's a heart of gold beneath this fur. My journey hasn't been the smoothest ride - I've seen the world from the streets, where every rustle in the bushes and every passing shadow was a potential adventure or danger. That's probably why I've developed this keen sense of alertness and rational thinking. Survival mode, they call it.You know, I used to roam the great outdoors all by myself, finding shelter wherever I could, learning the rhythms of the streets, and observing the humans from a distance. I have to admit, they puzzled me a bit. But now, I've found myself in this wonderful place called SPARC, and boy, has my perspective changed. It's true, I might take a little time to warm up to new faces. Meeting strangers used to be a dicey situation for me, but I'm trying to make progress! With a proper introduction and patience, I've shown that I can overcome my initial hesitation and embrace the chance to make new friends. I've even started to wag my tail more often - it's a sign that I'm opening up, you know. You see, all I really need is a bit of love, a dash of attention, and a good dose of mental and physical activities to keep my paws moving and my mind sharp. A home that understands my past and is willing to offer a fresh start is all I dream of. I might be cautious at first, but once you earn my trust, I'll be unconditionally loyal. I believe in second chances, and I'm ready to give my heart to the right human. So, if you're looking for a buddy who's more than meets the eye, someone who's faced challenges head-on and is ready to embark on a new journey of companionship, then look no further. Let's make memories together and show the world what second chances can do.

Story
It's me, Mia, and I'm ready to pour my heart out from my point of view. You see, it takes me a little time to trust again, but when I do, I'm loyal to the core. I'll need more than one meet-and-greet to feel completely comfortable, but I promise you, I'm worth the patience.I'm open to sharing my love with adults or older kids, and my heart is ready to form deep bonds. Plus, being a cattle dog mix, I thrive in an active environment. Long walks, playtime, and adventures are right up my alley. Here's the thing - I can be reactive around other dogs, especially in my kennel. I might get a bit vocal and seem alarmed, but that's just my way of saying, "Hey, I'm not quite sure about this!" But when someone kneels down and offers me a little "baby talk," I can't help but melt, sit, and lift my paw in an appeasement gesture. If you're ready to be that special person, contact SPARC and let them know you want to meet Mia. Together, we'll embark on a heartwarming journey filled with trust, love, and unforgettable moments. Come meet me today!
