Story

Ivy is a beautiful 7-year-old red-nose terrier mix who has been part of my family since she was just 4 weeks old. She weighs approximately 65 pounds and has a soft white coat with brown spots. Ivy is gentle, affectionate, playful, intelligent, and very obedient. She is house-trained, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and knows basic commands. She is well accustomed to a relaxed daily routine that includes two short walks each day, some backyard playtime, and plenty of time to lounge and relax. She has a mild, laid-back temperament and loves attention. Ivy is very friendly with neighbors and enjoys being around people. She loves to please and responds well to direction. At times she can become a little excited or anxious during play, but overall she is easygoing and settles well. One of Ivy’s favorite things is spending time in the backyard, where she enjoys playing, exploring, and occasionally breaking into a case of the zoomies.

Story

This has been a very difficult, and long, drawn-out decision. Benji is 2 years old. The last year, he began fighting with his brother consistently. In the same time span, I have become a single mother, at capacity. Benji would have to be the only animal in the house, and probably no children as well, as a safety precaution with his large and spunky personality. He loves to be pet and is very demanding of your attention and cuddles. He “talks” and is very hyper. He does mark every now and then despite being neutered and trained. He gets extremely excited with any new person, and pees. He thrives on attention and love, and likes to find objects to sleep under like a table. He loves walks. He shouldn’t jump off of things due to his breed, and the possibility of hurting his back. He’s extremely playful and would love to play all day long. He would thrive with a retired couple or person that is able to get his energy out. He has had no medical issues.

Hi! I’m Rosie, a 9-year-old hound looking for the right home! I may be a senior, but I’m still a hound and need regular exercise and plenty of opportunities to sniff and explore. I’m also a VERY dedicated Food Inspector. Food must be kept out of reach, even if it’s packaged. Also baby gate for the kitchen works great. The upside? I’m food-motivated and a fast learner! I can get along with other animals and usually ignore them, but I’d thrive as your one and only pet. I can also do well with kids, though older children would be best. I’m a talkative girl who whines quite a bit, so my family should be prepared for me to share my feelings! Most importantly, I have a support blanket. I know which blanket is mine, and I WILL turn it into swiss cheese, so I would like a new blanket for every christmas! I’m looking for someone who understands my quirks and will love the whole Rosie Package.

Max is 6 years old. He has separation anxiety. He is on phenobarbital for anxiety and seizure prevention. He is up-to-date on all his shots. He has been neutered. He comes from a home with other small dogs, but would most likely do best as an only dog with a stay at home mom or dad. He loves to go on walks and visit Petco. My busy schedule and having to take on a second job does not allow me the time to give him the care that he needs. I have a current 90 day supply of his medication as well as his bedding and some of his food.
